p.s i am a Christian. I live everyday for Him. I make mistakes and I'm not perfect, but God made me not to be. He wants me to learn from my mistakes and He loves my imperfections and He would understand a heart like mine. I find the most religious people to be the most judgmental. This song is saying just because were not perfect, God will still love us. He made us, we are His children. So just stop preaching and let God do the work

Point blank! Miranda pierces the heart like a rock star should. She is brave and not scared to cross the line like George Carlin, Axle Rose, James Dean, Sam Kinison etc. Most of mankind is brainwashed and she refuses to be one of them. I find comfort in Christ now thanks to her. We suppose to rely on faith instead of sight but Moses/God used images to rescue the Jews and the printing press was not invented until 15th century. People relied more in heart and not a book beforehand.Rock on M.L.S.

As a Christian myself, I really like the message of this song. Having a glass or two of wine is not a sin. (Moderation!) Jesus drank wine in the Bible, at weddings & in other company. When she says "sometimes I smoke cigarettes", she's saying that she's NOT perfect & still needs salvation... Don't we all? We're not perfect. God does NOT want us trying to be perfect. God wants us loving others **in response** to how He has loved us -- without condition. THAT is the true nature of a Christian.

But what some of us miss or gloss over is well this is totally true-the perfection was only accomplished by Jesus-he did say to Mary Madeline I don’t condemn you but**go and sin no more. This is not a realization that should usher us into being comfortable living a life with sin as though it’s just a part of our lives not to be shunned. It’s a deception to tell ourselves oh well God understands-almost like a wink wink. Sure he knows your flaws inside and out and understand everything about them praise God. The fear of the Lord is to hate sin. No. We should never condemn ourselves or anyone else for it-because there is no condemnation to those in Christ. And yes God loves you unconditionally. But he said if you love me you will keep my Commandments. Perfectly? No one can keep them perfectly. But if you love him you will not be comfortable with sin, nor readily just excepted in your life. It should be a battle. And he will cause you to overcome if you truly want to. That’s the thing. Some of us don’t hate sin. And this is not good. I can appreciate this song too. Thanks for being one of the few on youtube who didnt start cursing during a chat haha I see what you are saying but the truth is always that if its in our lives, if we are still addicted WE are holding onto it. Many say they hate their sin, they are addicted to whatever but they havent given it to God or else it would be gone. God loves us how we are but loves us too much to leave us how we are.
