As the situation becomes more volatile, the direct approach is abandoned in favor of more aggressive, hard-line tactics.

@WalkthroughArchivegreetings, yes, the sad fact remains as indeed with life itself, that not all those deserving rise to the very top (some don't want to). In fact the opposite is the reality. In this world, it's who you know not necessarily what you know. Most people don't know of Brad, but for those who appreciate great acting - he is there. The "wringing of the cat's neck" scene in the same movie one look from Brad (as in life itself) sorta tells a whole story in and of itself. Great, great acting and thus cinema of course and it takes nothing away from Hackman rather it adds to his abilities and that's how you make great movies. The thing is Gene had and has the "name" Brad didn't and doesn't, except for those who say, "that is some piece of acting! Who is that guy?"

And reading about his life story and trauma he endured as a child, shows how triumphant a spirit he had to overcome and become such a person. Gene Hackmans level and reach as an actor is somewhere beyond the Milky Way galaxy. Ask yourself when, if ever, you've seen such incredible passion and fire in an actor. On the badass scale of one to ten, he's a fifty! Some people, a select few, have the ability to reach outside and beyond themselves to capture the power and intensity in a performance. As a ninety year old man I have no doubt he could whip any young buck with a rocking chair and a cane. I can't think of any actor whose work I enjoy more. He couldn't produce a weak performance if he tried to. Mean Gene the acting machine.
