Pablo we made the mounts for engine and trans ourselves. All the rear suspension is custom as well. There are no products for that set up in that car available.
Has anyone swapped the LV3 4.3 V6 into a D21 ? Its all-alloy and 285 hp. A standalone wiring harness exists. The aluminum motor weighs about the same as the KA24-DE, a little heavier than the single cam KA24-E
I believe they have conversion kits, but most Nissan guys swap out the rear axle with a toyota axle preferably one that is from near the same year or near the same age as the truck you're using, you can do the front 5 lug swap by also taking Toyota hubs, modifying them and fitting them onto the front.
@@blixxy1320 Well, some people want to run a specific rear end (Final drive ratio) to match their transmission to get the most performance they can out of non-aftermarket parts. I researched the Ford 8.8 and looking at it's compatible final drive ratios, it really depends on your setup or what you're using as a transmission, nobody in the Nissan or Toyota scene really looks at other car manufacturers transmissions because they are more than likely configured differently. as for drive shafts, final drive gears, and wheel bases/offset and also the suspension setup. People like to run ratios like 4:56(Toyota), 4:88(Toyota), 4:38(Nissan), 4:11 (Toyota and Ford) It just really matters on your setup honestly and what you're wanting to run on it.. Nobody ever rarely does any extraordinary engine swaps like this so that's why they get mainly like these gear ratios, they are perfect for truck like this and guaranteed going to make the truck faster whether its on the launch or on the top end. In my truck I run a 4:38, stock rear axle.
I got a question. I put a 97 ka24e motor in my 90 d21 . the motor is in and it wont start . I'm getting fuel spark and compression . what could be causing my truck not to run
