Question for, I’m looking into automating my pool/hot tub and there are a few not so normal functions I want. What I would like to know is if these valves can have multiple positions in either direction based on what I want the Intellicenter to do. For example hot tub on and hot tub on with partial suction from the pool. Thanks in advance!
Hello. This valves opens/closes 1x per day. This valve has lasted over 2 years. We've installed hundreds in the field, no longer install the older CVA or JVA valves. Have only had a handful fail. They'll continue to advance in technology, especially with automation integration. Hope this helps.
Love Pool Care thank you so much for responding. Is it easy to replace my cam valves (cva) with the intellivalve? When my CVA units went out I could replace the power cord at the CVA unit instead of at the Easytouch panel. Can you still do this with the intellivalve?
@@livnaway Hello, no worries... glad to help. Yes, it's very easy if you're familiar with repairing/installing automation. Just run the IntelliValve low-voltage wiring into your EasyTouch panel and into your desired port (or the one you're removing the CVA from). All camming from the IntellIValve is done using as described in the video. No need to open up the actuator anymore to cam!

And your toddler just learned how to push the buttons. lol
Can you comment on how often this valve in the video opens and closes a day and how it has held up? Thanks in advance

Does the intellicenter need to be turned on while doing this?
Sorry for the late reply. Just need power to the automation system, which will provide power to the IntellIValve.
