Excellent comparison and explanation. Some of the most well done srt4 content on RUclips.

Man bought my srt back in 2007 and put over 100k miles and haven’t changed my clutch yet. Car has right over 144k miles on it.

Wow I think the stock setup is pretty good from factory but I'm guessing it also depends on how much driving is done on freeway or stop and go traffic, keep taking care of that SRT man not many of us left out there!

The cheapest option is to but steel bolts and put them in that spot. Alot of neon guys do that to save money. And they last as long

Is it the clutch or something else. My SRT has 122.000 miles on it.

Mine just wore out at 140k on PT Turbo right after clutch. Wish I knew beforehand. Never another Chrysler for me because of stuff like this.
started with crunchy third gear and few thousand miles later it wouldn't shift.

Oh man! sorry to hear that Joey! yep this small thing can definitely throw off the whole shifting experience and man it's so gradual in cases people don't noticed it unless the entire fork is removed for inspection or when it's too late and shifting is now affected ugh..

Is my clutch going out if I step on gas but not much acceleration, but rpms go up.

Hi Eddy J, that's odd, normally when it goes out you are left stuck in gear or stranded. You may have another issue related to ignition (old gas, low octane gas, any check engine lights? I'm wondering if computer is pulling power). Check your pressure pipes too just to make sure nothing has a major leak or popped off, that happened to me once and car go terribly slow LOL
