The yellow tape looks very suspect, it looks more orange than yellow and nothing like any of the NOS parts i've had from Honda and Kawasaki etc over the years... add that there is clear tape over the 'yellow' tape suggests that the box has been repacked recently... the question has to be why? It might be as simple as someone ordered parts for the wrong model and they were repacked, or the seller sold the parts listing the wrong model and they were repacked, either way you need to be very suspect about the parts. Without knowing how much you paid for the parts and without knowing how much Honda charge(d) for the original parts it's impossible to know whether you got a good deal or not. It also needs to be remembered that there is no shortage of pattern parts available for the CBR600 so even though they might look genuine, they might well not be. The question is are the parts cheap enough that you can have them resprayed so they are still cheaper than genuine Honda parts, if that is not significantly cheaper than genuine factory sprayed Honda parts, or would cost similar to having Honda OEM parts resprayed, send them back. I'd also advise you take off your existing panels and see if the new panels actually fit your bike (and has fittings for any other ancilary parts that attach to the panels) before deciding whether too keep them or not.
No haven’t had time, this is a side channel for me. My main channel has 195k subscribers so that takes all my time then I have 1.2 million followers on all other socials (cooking) that’s as well as being a head head with a restaurant and running a full time online Chinese supermarket with writing cookbooks means spare time is zero
Just got a 2000 f4. Gonna buy a new fairing kit i saw for $270
I’d be careful, they said it was my fault and never replaced or did anything, had to by $180 decal kit to fit the damage
Bummer, that should have been perfect. Maybe you can do a custom livery instead? give it some flavor.
I want to restore it, which is why I’m so annoyed, I like factory looking bikes
What about the nose cone. That seems to be the most prone to cracking,
That was fine
