We took the bikes down to Snetterton on Monday 29/05/2023 for a bank holiday track day and it was a belter of a day! Loads of fun, great company and some fast track time on the bikes.
Let me know what you think of these bikes down in the comments section and if could give the video a thumbs up and hit the subscribe button that would be awesome. Thanks for watching and see you on the next one 🔥

The Ducati 916 is still in my opinion the most beautiful bike Ducati have built, the newer stuff might be faster but the look of the 916 is still a hard one to beat. Mind you a 500 quid CBR where did you find that I must start looking on the classifieds.

I think so too!! What an amazing machine, it was a dream come true to have one for a while to be honest! Even if it was the cheapest one on eBay haha! Stunning bike. CBR was from a friend who needed the money out of it, not bad for a non runner! Thanks for watching 👍

I agree with You, back in the day the Ducati 916 was every young man's dream. It still has stood the test of time and I still want one till this day and good luck finding one or a 95 CBR600 in decent condition. Oh the good old days.

In 1992-94 I had I had serial number 38 900rr after waiting like 6 long months to get it. It was a really impressive bike, it worked really well on the track especially after putting putting Kaz Yoshima's upper triple clamp on it, which made it much more stable. But when I heard about the 916 and read all the specs I ordered one and waited like 12 long months, and it was easy to ride fast on the track, amazing, I still have it and it was one of my best decisions ever!! two days later, I had a cop pull me over just to look at it. Then the founder of what was later the largest Ducati club flaged me down from his 851 Ducati to invite me to one of the first meetings. I also had an RC30 for 10 years, and it was sweet, but the 916 is easier to work on and the power and sound is almost soothing, allowing you to concentrate better when riding. Thanks for a great video.

Great video. Thanks. I must say, it doesn't matter that the 916 isn't the fastest bike in the paddock. What it does exquisitely is define poetry in motion. I've had a 748 and it really is too much bike for the streets, but it does everything with precision and mountains of feedback - like the 916 but less ballistically.

You'd be surprised how much difference a few changes to the suspension settings makes. I had an 01 CBR600 and used settings from either Fast Bikes or Performance Bikes magazine, I can't remember which one.. Totally changed the bike. I bet a few tweaks would settle that Honda down, if it had adjustability that is, not sure if it does.

The thing that immediately struck me about the ducati is even after all these years its still pin sharp in the corners with a wave of torque to carry you in to them at crazy speeds, it's still my dream bike after all these years, i had a mini ducati, a cagivia mito I loved,, amazing styling and handling with a mental engine for a 125cc..I'm now currently owning a aprilia rsv 1000 first generation,, costing me a fortune,, but I love Italian bikes,, even there expensive "character"....drives me potty,, but I mainly love the big low down torque all the through the rev range pulling me alone from nothing to silly speeds even after all these years my bike flies. 😂..i subscribed and gave you a big thumbs up 👍 👌 👏

Original the limit is set at 10,500 for a 916, but with a different chip the rev limit can be adjusted.
Although people recommend not to go over 10,000 since the rockers can barely keep up and the lifespan of the engine decreases.
Also most make peak torque around 9,500 so there is no reason to pull the engine above 10,000.
Ducati specilist Kaemna in Germany does make lightweight rockers, so maybe they are safer to rev high, in combination with modified heads.

@@Pillokun again close fight on track gsxr 600 vs 996 🤷🏻‍♂️👉🏻m.ruclips.net/video/sZ2oeSHLWhk/видео.html in someplaces out of corner duc 996 lil left behind it look like it can have less weight at front wheeel or its rider errror 🤷🏻‍♂️ it cant be solved from such video 🤭🤷🏻‍♂️ its 50-50 weight distribution or rider fault but most of time when trafk is clear they go close 👌🏻offcorse i have no idea about those bikes setup and basic is tires at first place and like ypu onow weveryhing can be tune so but whatever 👌🏻 me last word is like this 👉🏻 duc 996 r 136 hp stock vs some of modern sueprsport 600 like r6 125 hp both the same tire perfect pressure setup on both the same weight fastest rider posiible which dont left placesss anywhere on track for bull💩 story and those bike be so close like nobodys bisnesss most likelly 😉👌🏻 the only chance for get advantage 600 supersport is mention earlier wight distribution cos in V engine case constructors have trouble with setup everything in such way that front wheeel will have good weight push it to the ground prevent understerrr out of corner accelerstion like in me sv 650 s 👌🏻😎 they fix this in comapre to inline 4 be feg setup more agresivveleey rider position more at front and more handlebars down and couple pther stufff but it can be issue in road 996 r i. comapre to supersport 600 which can in fact give 600 win on track lap time battle /race thanks that those ss600 with more wieght at front wheel can open theotle soooner and use max power soooner for acceleration 🌪️ 👌🏻 out of corner without end behind tarmac at outisde of corner and on this catch some advsntage for overall lap time be 1-2 sec faster for avg track 2 min lap time but i dont have data about this stuff it can be not true at all and cosntruction those V2 1000 cc old can have not wprse weight distribution than modern 600 ssupersport 🤷🏻‍♂️👌🏻…. so for me atleast for now its draw untill i get more info/data about this stuff i dont know 🤷🏻‍♂️😉👌🏻 and i quees you take your assumption like 99% similar to ypu people from 💩 🤭 even if you smoked some old 1000 cc V2 sport bike on your 600 cc supersport on track it not necccessery must be advanatge those 600 cc against those 1000 V2 🤭 maybe you are very fast track rider and dude on this V2 1000 cc just dont have so much skill and experienced in track riding like you 🤷🏻‍♂️ or you was on slick track tire and he on some 💩 road tire dude fastest track slicks tire can be 10 sec or even more faster than some 💩road tire 😂🤷🏻‍♂️ …. and many other stuff can be tune like suspension asf if ypu have pure track bike prepare with slick and you comapre to fully road 916 or 996 whatever on some wet road tire on dry condition than what i can write more its BS COMAPRISION ALL THE WAY especially if like im mention ypu are fast rider and guy od duc slower rider than thers nothing what we can reallly comapre here 😂🫣🤷🏻‍♂️ ….its BS story for me at least at this point 👌🏻😎
