REVIEW Honda CB650F ABS 2014 model - 1ST IMPRESSION TEST RIDE - BEST FIRST BIKE?
Today we review a 2014 Honda cb650f ABS, full disclosure this bike was bought for our series where we buy a bike, do it up, and seel if we can sell it for profit, like wheeler dealers, but less produced and just generally worse. We got this for $3200/£2700 all in, but the market value for this bike with 10,300 miles on the clock is around the $4500/£3900. This is also our first review video and we know its not the best, but its helped us know what we need to film and how to film motorcycle reviews for the future so please stick with us, we will get better, we hope lol.

I just got min and holly shit it’s not fun to wear after 5-10 minutes. Feels like it’s putting so much pressure on the back of the neck. I shaved down the plastic liner like 1/8” and it’s better now but it’s fucked up.

May be how you put it on I’ve seen a couple people say if they slid it straight down in their head it would pull those rivets out but the helmet was designed to be slid down the back of your head and neck first then the pulled all the way on to your head Doing it this way didn’t cause the back to pinch and a more comfortable ride Blockhead explained it well in one of his videos
they emailed me back saying the helmet was faulty and they rivets shouldn't of popped out like that
pointless to do back brake on them as it`s a manufacture fault and will be spongy again after a week or so 🤣🤣

I'd run as well, a Honda C90 that is most certainly not and Lydia looks like she has a mean right punch on her! 🤣 I only rode an R1 once, 1998/9 model belonging to a friend and it was insanely fast and powerful that in pretty much any gear it was sending the front wheel skywards! 😱 If you're still capable of sitting with a large petrol tank in front of your manhood after Lydia has finished with you... i'm sure you'll scare yourself shitless on it, and love it! 🤣🤣🤣

The single bulb headlight. The LCD clocks. And the normal way up forks really date this bike.

I bought a brand new suzuki GS500E because they used them at the test centre. I nearly did the same and got a CB650F would have been the older one with the rear indicators built into the bodywork of the bike. It works buying a dull car but buying a dull bike is a bad idea. Never go with the sensible choice when it comes to bikes.

I hate people who go that slow. Get off the road and learn how to go the speed limit. It’s so selfish to go that slow because you’re clogging up traffic.

Nice to see ol’ Blighty roads again. I came to Canada MANY years ago and one skill that is rare here is how to OVERTAKE. There are so many divided highways and such deserted country roads that people never really learn good highway skills.

It is not target but 40mph is too slow. Ideal is about 50-52mph=cca 2000rpm
Technically according to driving instructors it is a target speed, it’s just road conditions and hazards that should change you from that speed

Don't have gout - get to your GP, couple of blood tests to sort out what dose of Allopurinol you need, and then you can carry on eating and drinking everything you like (as long as you don't take the piss). One tablet a day, job jobbed. I battled through it for years as I didn't want to take meds every day, because I was a -ing idiot.
I have and I can’t get the blood test while I’m an attack or 3 weeks after one, but I have a small attack of what ever I have every 2/3 weeks so bloods wouldn’t show if I have it or not
At least it looks better than the Scottish Transformer, The Buckfaster :D

That’s true, I nearly failed mine as I had 2 minors for not making progress, there’s loads of reasons but main was because it it’s self causes a hazard, and lack of confidence means you’re more likely to cause a crash. Plus I best they went 40 even in a 30 right?
Yeah I have a mate that’s a driving instructor I just asked why and he sent this Yes, driving too slowly can cause you to fail your driving test: Safety hazard: Driving too slowly can be as dangerous as speeding. Driving significantly below the speed limit, without a clear reason, can result in a mark against you. Examiners look for a balance between caution and confidence, and driving too slowly can tip this balance unfavourably.
@@chinmanrides I passed my bike test in 1982 and its changed A LOT since then, it would have been an automatic fail back then for not looking over your shoulder before pulling out to overtake. Not that that was ever going to happen back then because the test was basically riding round blocks of housing on a quiet estate in different circuits while the examiner was on foot and out of view most of the time... my walking test was comical, it was a windy day and the examiner felt it unfair to actually walk so he was running while i rode alongside him haha The emergency stop was equally comical... ride down to that car, turn round and ride back at me at 30mph, when i put my arm out, stop as quickly as you can. I got up to 20mph and held the speed there, he was so far away when he put his arm out i had to ease off the brake so he didn't realise i was no where near 30mph! I passed on my first attempt! LOL
I did the life saver, the go pro has an automatic function what stops fast movement look so sharp, hence why you can’t see me nod to bikers when they pass the quick movement is compensated for, I also passed with no mirrors 1st time

@@chinmanrides You kind of do Chin, especially when you stop or a pillion is climbing on or off, most novices will drop a bike when riding slowly because they haven't got used to balancing a bike at slow speed... it's why it's part of the motorcycle test ;)
