Hello Pat!! I'm 24 years old, i am an employee and a business owner at the same time... my mom and dad both died from cancer last year... i didn't stop dreaming! i kept on pushing... But life keeps on kicking me down so sometimes i feel down and start doubting myself... i am losing a lot in my business because my other work as an employee is consuming all my time... The problem is that my business is now at it's peak and will diminish big time in around 6 month because it kind off has a deadline so i am afraid to leave my job as an employee... idk what to do honestly! i don't want to get into details now cz i don't even know if you're gonna read this or not but both ways i thought i'd right this to thank you for your constant support and the amazing content in your videos... hope to hear from you!!

Congrata to you! I discovered PBD in August of 2017 and was hooked on the content. I started my side business in January of 2018. Became a Sales Rep in March of 2018 at my day job. 8 months operating on the side business and now im working on the high ticket item I have to offer. More value for my Customer and myself. Much respect for him for lighting the torch!
I've been bullied, picked on-fought back only to be defeated, academic failures, lost my mom at 16, drunk dad who always talks in hangover & forgets in morning, getting the know-how on ecommerce & escrow-bank guarantee process for some real high ticket sales and gonna turn on my life in turbo, this is 24k Golden Nugget motivation even for young person like me. I started my Welding business 6 months ago fast forward to today My partner bailed and now my wife of 15 years is looking at different this is not the first time I've thought about a divorce I don't ever want to become civilized and stop dreaming I want to teach my 2 boys to never stop dreaming.

Yes, that gave me tears! I stopped dreaming so long ago and a situation in my life caused me to move forward on a product but it's taken me all summer to feel I had permission to do so. This is about the 10th video I've listened to of yours and it hit me hard and I appreciate your words so much. Just turned 23 this year, one of the first things you say is "when you turn 23, 24, your brain changes..." I'm watching this because I realized recently that my dreams are so much smaller than they were a few years ago... Strapping in for this one!

Truly inspirational! I’m 38 and I feel it’s a beautiful age but also a drifting point. Thank you for remind us to never ever stop dreaming.
I've always been a big dreamer and finally built a truly amazing thing that I was incredibly passionate about with my friends, when I was 16. The thing eventually turned into a complete mess, breakup with friends and a college dropout, since my passion was not backed up by any logic, business knowledge and experience... It messed up my confidence for many years to come, until I finally graduated from another college, then an exchange program, an MBA, and... I was afraid to start over, only because I already knew how bad it could end up.
Two years ago, I finally started another business, which went absolutely flat, until only about half a year ago, when I realized how my caution, organization, pessimism and beggar attitude in sales are standing in between me and the growth, and the thing instantly took off.
I think, it's necessary to have both head-spaces to run a business: rationalist/pessimist and passionist/optimist
This came just at the right time, I love Valuetainment.

I can't thank you enough for making this video, sir. I have to share with you my own story, in the hope that it will help someone else here who can relate. I got fired from a job recently in a way that destroyed my ego, and I have felt like a failure ever since. While I had previously been given the impression from my employer, co-workers, and clients that I was well-liked and professionally respected, instead I was called "boring", "incompetent", and "full of negativity towards students" in my termination email (yes, email, not even the dignity of face-to-face). Wow, did that ever cut through my self-esteem! It made me question who I was and ask why I even bothered doing anything anymore. "Am I really good at what I think I am good at?" I thought. "Is it even possible for me to improve, or have my skills plateaued forever? Did I really screw my job up this badly? If I can't even complete the job I am built & trained for, how can I possibly complete the job of dreams? No wonder I am out of work! I am truly boring and incompetent, and everyone is just pretending to respect me". That was my takeaway from being fired so unexpectedly. As a result, I lost my motivation to work at anything, I stopped dreaming of my goals altogether, and I nearly gave up on life entirely a few times - slipping into depression and listlessness. I became the middle-aged guy in your example who is content with working a menial job and only being in the fantasy league on weekends, thinking it's too late to be in the pros. Funnily enough, the job I was fired from was also menial (i.e. not my true passion). Jim Carrey once famously told of his father being fired from his banking job, and how it became motivation for Jim's own career, saying something like "I learned from him then that it's possible to be fired from a job you hate, so you might as well try to work the job you really want". Having thought it over, I finally realized that my firing was business-related and not personal. The email was full of projection from my boss about his own professional failures, not mine. He was doing all the lesson planning, and I was just following orders. So, I easily became the scapegoat for the failure of his own business. Having watched this video now, though, I know that my problem going forward is my attitude and my limiting beliefs. Time to watch that other video you made! It IS possible for me create the life I want, but I need to start dreaming of it again. Thank you for the encouragement. Nobody gives a pep talk like you, except maybe Pacino in "Any Given Sunday". Hallelujah!

Can't believe I was just thinking about the topic when this video popped up as a suggestion.. when we stop dreaming is really the moment when we become unhappy no matter how much we have or how successful we are. We forget how to be playful and have fun, we don't get excited anymore and don't enjoy life anymore as we used to.. All because we start rationalizing and consider dreams to be silly and reserved for kids. Thanks for doing this video it got me really excited so I'm going back to Dreaming no matter what :-)
