I've been listening to this guy for years and I still haven't even scratched the surface of his catalog! Hearing this one for the first time now and it might end up in my favorites!
This whole album is like doing a mental workout for your imagination… giving it food and fuel… letting it sink into the chasms of each individual’s conscious and subconscious … taking you faraway from the physical world … entering your consciousness in this wonderful dreamscape that I’m sure is unique to each person’s imagination … album is better enjoyed with eyes closed.
First time hearing this album. And I have listened to this album 3 times in a row while reading. It’s so good! He is such a brilliant musician. I love every single second of every single song I’ve ever heard by him 😂

I haven't heard a solo that great in a long time buckethead... What a phenomenal pike. Kind of "slow" first half but the ending makes it so good so it makes sense as an overall piece. Amazing

Its so nice that he's back! In the meantime I was listening to Kapala. Its like a europe version of Buckethead ;-) Not as fast as he is but also nice Ideas and the ambient stuff is enjoyable. I recommend Shivering Light or the song Ripping Apart.

i love your analysis and i agree for the most part. i also think bucket is the master of the Wah pedal.(among other effects) he just has so much control and foresight with it. tracks like pike #51 track 2, 'Disintegration Mirrors" and siege engine just blow the competition out of the water!
