@@treyphillips9191 Pike -60 "Footsteps" ?!?! Really? I respect your opinion but I really like that one. To each his own I guess. The beauty of Bucket is there is something for us all :)
it really is mind-boggling, isn´t it? there´s all the writing, arranging, programming, recording, mixing, mastering, who knows what else... and every note of it high quality. how is it possible? it takes a robot...
I mean, some of them are very standard instrumental works that essentially any guitarist of a certain level could produce. But yes, a few of them are masterpieces.
Man, Buckethead has such a great fanbase, it's like we can all get along with each other and talk about how great his music is and how we all agree that he is just a wonderful robot. thanks Buckethead for the amazing albums, and thanks Humano for sharing all of them with us.
i love how he doesn't do any wild and crazy machine gun flare on this one, but it just one sick ass riff after another. its not easy to keep an idea going for almost 30 mins and keep everything changing and getting better and better. Ive only recently heard of buckethead, I know hes been doing his thing for ages now, but its all new to me and i haven't heard one thing that isn't sick... I threw this track on for the 1st time as i was about to go to sleep just while i smoked. ended up listening to the whole track. every time i hear it i just cant seem to turn it off. shit is sick...
I remember random clicking this album for the first time just chillin and getting stoned. After I kept turning it up, I had to check what pike it was again and I've been in love ever since. SO. DAMN. HEAVY.
That riff at 12:47 is the best thing I have ever heard in my entire life. This entire piece of art is fantastic. I have no clue what I’m feeling right now.
Oh my!! Wouldn’t it be cool to see the inside of Bucketheads mind? It’s got to be as amazing as the inside of the saucer that crashed in Roswell years ago!! How can he write and compose so much Fabulous music? He is truly an Enigma 👽
I Always come back to this Pike, due to its Grandiose Varied Tones/Sounds. 0:00 - Part 1 = Mesmerizing Introduction to Said Various Harmonies. 4:26 - Part 2 = Dissonance Shift, He Adds Heavy Bass Tones Layers, more Harmonics. 9:52 - Part 3 = Twists into a Tight Fork in the Road, Mellows Down into Blissful Tones. 14:40 Part 4 = Moves into Super Mellow, Mysterious Back Tone, Heavy Octaves(1-5-8) 18:37 Part 5 = Simple, Heavy, Chuncky Riffs, 2 Steps Forward/1 Step Back. 22:17 Part 6 = Adds 3 New Voices to his Layers, Monotones. 25:10 Part 7 = Hybrid Picking over the Ultra Tone Layers, Heavy, Mellow.
He finds always a new great intro, a new riff, a new idea. Pike after pike, he develop a story, its story. A theme with infinite variations. Thanks Big B! :-)
love this guy saw him in 06 with Les Claypool (Primus) on bass, Bernie Worrall (Parliament Funkadellic) on the keys and Bryan Mantia (Primus) on drums. best concert experience ever, right up front at the Filmore in Denver. Saw him in 07 in Fort Collins, CO also. always looking forward to the next album. Awesome!!

One of Buckethead's robots asked me what I think of this pike. I said "I Don't Know What To Say." The robot said "You don't have to know. Just enjoy and try out the new Florrmat roller coaster." Favorite Track: Florrmat Part 3

This cat is indeed a prolific, melodic, musical super genius.
This is by far my favorite pike. If it's not genius, I don't know what is. We must admit: Buckethead's skill and gift are unparalleled on Earth.
