I love this pattern, very distinct in style. I'm making one from a wedding present for a Grandson. They love blues so I'm using all my blues for it. 4 rows each with white. I love your patterns, too. I'm making a queen size for my bed with left over yarns I have, never thought of using them that way. I need another one for my bed, only doing it long way. Should be an intresting project. I also want to use a different stitch for every 2 rows. We'll see how it goes. I've been crocheting for over 55 yrs too. Thank you.
I started a baby blanket with this stitch. I have some yarn from Ice that is kind of "spongy." OMG this is working up so beautiful and it is squishy! I can see a toddler loving this as his or her blanky. Will post a pic of the blanket on FB when completed.
I use so many various blanket patterns to make scarves. This works for me! I love how you show the methods that you use. You show color options, you don’t chatter too much on the 5-W’s, and how. You just get in there and get the facts . Thank you. I don’t like a lot of chatter and hand motions.
Hello glenda, I'm so glad you worked up this sticth 3 D sticth. I saw this pattern on another site. And managed to start the pattern. But after watching your version of the pattern. It's so much clearer . Now I can continue making this blanket thanks again I love this pattern.❤
Thank you Glenda for teaching me another stitch I didn't know how to do. I picked it up so fast I went a row ahead of you to see if I could do it and it was right. GREAT TEACHER !!!!!!
Your stitches move smoother than a hot knive through butter. Very impressive and a beautiful tutorial. Bookmarked this to practice on. Thank you Glenda
I love to practice your stitch of the week with cotton and make dish cloths. I see a Christmas present here! I'll do your stitch in white, and then do another plain sc dish cloth in red or light blue, put together and add a border and you have a pretty potholder. Kind of looks like snowdrifts. Thanks Glenda!
Ok, so now the 3D stitch has to be added to my favorites along with Feathers and Fans.....my swatch turned out great,...you are so good at teaching.....thank you!
I just started to get back to crocheting. Glad I found your tutorials they are amazing you are the best teacher! I have a couple of questions 1st when you want to change colors do you always have to change on the same side ? 2nd when you buy yarn do you have to use the same brand? I bought2that were #4 medium but turns out one was different as you can see I am a beginner I never did learn how to follow a pattern thank you for your help
How do I make it wider.?l love how simple you made it ,I really like this pattern. Thank you ❤ I just caught on___( oops)/ I was thinking backwards .5×5+1right.
I use Red Heart Super Saver the most due to how many colors they have in both solids and multi colors if you want a really soft yarn then Red Heart Soft is another great yarn.
