When I started building my Franken Stache set I noticed that Sammy just didn’t have a bad card. He quickly has become one of my favorites. The little Prince curl is classic, and his transition from Cowboy to Chevron was as seamless as a pair of Jim Palmer undies!
Love your Franken Stache videos. Thought it was a little unfair of you to put one of Sammy's lesser mustaches against Tim Crews magnificent Burt Reynold's Stache.
Crazy, I was looking through the S's today for Ruben Sierra and saw 6 of those 88 Donruss cards all back-to-back which I don't remember sorting them like that but again I alphabetized my cards in '96 so I might have forgotten. Stewart 1990 Pacific Senior League card deserves a google. They should have put his picture on a card every year just because. Also, short interview with him on youtube during an Orioles pre-game... you will not regret putting a voice with those cards.
Another great episode. I looked up Karl Spooner and he had an interesting life and career. 2 ML starts in his first year and throws two straight complete game shutouts with 27 strikeouts. He hurts his arm the next year and what looked to be a Sandy Koufax type career is ended prematurely. He's got a wikipedia page if you want to read about him.
Painted on brow........ My nephew has quite the uni. Jeez la tweez. My profession is writing comedy for myself. Mamy brother and I decorated so many 88 Donruss. All em looked like hockey players.
Sammy was a fun guy and a solid pitcher! Always liked him! The Orioles had buyers remorse with Jackie Gutierrez! I don’t blame them! 😂 I didn’t know about his drug/prison problems, sad to hear about that.
I really like this unique method of storytelling.
Thanks, Sweet Bob. I try to make it entertaining.
This is great!! Love the great storytelling and enthusiasm. Poor Sammy. I remember him well
I'm glad you dug it. Thanks for watching.
Didn't know I needed to learn about Sammy Stewart. But I did.
I know, i had no idea what a roller coast ride his life was, I just always liked his cards.
Great video. I have a few of Sammy’s cards. I never knew about his trials and tribulations. Thank you.
Thanks for watching. I knew nothing about him except I loved his cards and learned everything when I decided to make the video.
Great vid! I love Sammy! One of my all time favorite Orioles.
Thanks for watching.
Long overdue Sammy tribute. Nice job. Sick 88 Donruss but the 82 O Pee Chee is my favorite.
Thanks for watching.

@ I really thought that the Unibrow combo would put him over but under estimated the FPI of Crews.
(Follicle Per Inch)
Great video!
"You're a Major League ballplayer... not my Cub Scout leader!" LOL!!!
That was my favorite joke.
Wow! Fun cards with a GREAT Stache!!! Sad story about him though. Thanks for sharing!
He was the Stache king.
Very nice Sammy Stewart video
Thanks. He had a tough life but great baseball cards.
I recently subscribed to your channel , so entertaining !! And enlightening 👍🏻
Thanks for subscribing and watching.

I found that video. He sounds so country. Hilarious.

The Throwin’ Swannanoan! I remember when Beckett did a fun card on Sammy. They didn’t have to do too much work on it to make it funny
Darn it. I forgot to include his nickname in the video.
1988 Donruss might be the most 80s design of all 80s sets
Good call. Those 88 cards do have a MTV/Max Headroom feel about them.
Nice video! What a life Mr. Stewart had. 🙏
Sammy had a wild life and some great baseball cards.

I like the comment about his “eyebrow” (singular), ha!
Thanks. I like that joke too.
@ Keep up the videos and the jokes, enjoying them a bunch.
Great video. I always appreciate your knowledge of both the players and the cards.
It starts with liking their cards which inspires me to look up their history. Thanks for watching.
His cards are worth about 40 cents? Decent pitcher don't get me wrong, RIP. (He was also in JAil)
