Awesome Julia! Danke :) I will share my draws with my wife and friends, thank you so much for the tutorials! I will be following the project in skillshare! Vielen Dank und gute Arbeit
for some reason i never draw individual flowers when sketching outside, just clumps in a landscape sketch, should focus more on individual flowers next year when they come back
I was wondering how to achieve that ' scientific illustration ' look in nature books I so adore. I didn't realise you could get it by matching the color of the ink outline to different parts of the plant!
Yeah, different artists have different techniques. Some simply use pencil outlines, and others paint everything with extremely fine brushes. But I have to say I really like this approach with ink.
Love the drawing and the delicate use of color and ink. Looking forward to your class.
Beautiful work! You always make it look effortless! Thank you for sharing your process. The yellow legume is known as "Birdsfoot trefoil" in the USA.

Thank you Israel! Happy drawing! :-)
Your work is so delicate and lovely. 🍃
Many many thanks Rowena! 🌺
Nice brushwork. It looks difficult to keep a steady hand especially when you paint the long stems. Such fine lines...
Thanks! It is, but practice will make it a little bit easier.
