      I think Lou is in better shape then Arnold. Arnold has a few serious health issues that Lou dose not have.I met Lou once in the opening of the gym I was working out in 1976 Bath avenue He did not abuse steroids at the level others did. Most guys went far beyond what was considered to be the recommended dosage. The saying was Died big. It's a whole different ball game at 70 years old.

      Arnold's heart problems were due to genetic defects. My brother had the exact same surgeries.

      Lou ferrigno is not doing as well.

    Arnold had an amazing physique but.... He also had all the help in the world to push him to the top. Lou ferrigno never even had the support of his own father. His father continually criticized him and put him down. In my mind Lou is the bigger champion.

      Pumping iron was a movie and had a script, Lou and his father’s dynamic in the movie was not what appeared on screen. Also Arnold had an amazing physic for his time, Lou couldn’t beat Arnold at his prime but Lou simply needed to compete a few more years and to learn to lean out. Lou was primed to be the next in line but he chose to go for the movies. Pumping iron made a giant hill out of a mole hill. It was scripted and was supposed to get a rise out of people. People need to stop basing everything on pumping iron, it was scripted and was a movie.

    The greatest bodybuilders I have ever seen. Arnold Schwarzenegger,. The actor, businessman, politician and former bodybuilder had seven victories in the Mister Olympia competition between 1970 and 1980,. Without a doubt Arnold served as Luo's inspiration,. Luo Ferrigno who spent most of his life chasing fame as an actor, was also an exceptional opponent. The former American bodybuilder won two consecutive IFBB Mister Universe titles, along with a Mr America title in the early 1970s. His rapid rise in bodybuilding competitions caused people to draw comparisons with Arnold,. Although he took away several film roles from Arnold, such as Hercules, since the only thing Lou had over Arnold was his height. since this one measures 1.96 compared to 1.88 that Arnold measures.

I took a double take I thought he was an impersonator but it was him. Hoping to see Arnold again this year. His work out is totally different now. Don't blame him It's not essay to stay in shape in the 70s Lou manage to keep a good physique. The saying in the gym was "Die Big" I know that sounds Crazy and it was. Good God c]8-0

    @megamania501 2 месяца назад

    Lou Ferrigno and Arnold Schwarzenegger have been the only two bodybuilders to have achieved the iconic status in the mainstream that they did. After becoming the Incredible Hulk in 1977, Lou was then doing talkshows and commercials, in magazines and went on to sell workout programs and became a nationally recognizable celebrity. It wasn't until 5 years later when Conan the Barbarian came out was when Arnold first became recognized by the mainstream. And we all know how his career skyrocketed from there.
    Nowadays, they will just take a Hollywood actor and pump him with steroids until he's big if a movie wants a character who is buff and ripped. Or they get a pro wrestler to play a role. But Lou and Arnold were the first, and the best.

      the truth is Arnold only trained that way during is cut cycle just to get ripped for the MR O . Rest of the year those guys trained on a yearly cycle of different phases. the norm was something like this. January to April,,strenght and power training.May to August Hypotrophy training,, Sept-oct..Precontest training.After the MR O they took time off to recuperate , then Jan rinse and repeat.

      @UncleTermite then why pretend it was hard work and dedication if it's not true? Painting a better picture of themselves when in reality they are a bunch of lazy fakers.
      I've been working out for 4 years don't look nowhere close to what these guys look like. My pre-workout 4 raw eggs, post workout naked whey with 16 Oz of milk strawberries and a banana followed by rice and chiken. For 4 fkn years no breaks, that's hard work and dedication, those guys are fkn looses.

      @@xFlow777 . If you think it’s easy when in fact you have to work harder to maintain a top works class physically appearance, you just can’t magically look like that popping pills . It’s a lifetime of commitment of eating thousands of calories a week , sleep workouts, knowing sports medicine hiring personnel doctors etc …those guys had to work even harder you just can’t take steroids and sit on the couch and watch movies . Lol

    Arnold was the cockiest sob ever but the guy put in the time in the gym and achieved the goals he set! Very disciplined goal oriented man! Love him hate him one can't deny how great of a physique he built, just look at him in that 74 competition with Lou, Lou was physically bigger yet onstage, Arnold destroyed him! I don't believe Lou ever recovered from that loss!
