  • This is a video of my long trip to see my friend that lives in Sapporo.
Sapporo is the prefectural capital of Hokkaido that is the 2nd largest island of Japan.
I made friend with him through chattings on a Japanese SNS called mixi. It was when 2006 World Cup Foofball Game was being held.
I took an overnight sleeper train "Hokutosei" with another mixi friend Kin-Unsai. It left Tokyo at 7 pm and was supposed to get to Sapporo within 15-16 hours. However, there was a very strong storm in the night. The Hokutosei got cancelled at Hakodate that is the entrance station of Hokkaido island. So We had to change train to Super Hokuto there and then could finally arrive at Sapporo station. We had been staying in Hokutosei and Super Hokuto over 24 hours when we got there. (Japan is not that big country.)
There he introduced us his favorite jingisukan (lamb/mutton BBQ), sake (Japanese liquor) and ramen (Japanese style Chinese noodle) restaurants. They were really awesome! We absolutely enjoyed all of those so much...
Coming back was no problem since everything was perfectly on time. :-D
*This was made to be shared between my 2 close friends who joined this Sapporo trip. That's why all the sub was written in Japanese. Sorry about it for non Japanese speakers.
*A few parts in the video were actually from other youtuber's ones because mine were not filmed well. I sent messages to the owner for approvals and could get some. (Thanks!)
Just let me know if you didn't notice my message but feel unconfortable when you find what you filmed.
I'll be fine to delete this video.
(Thanks mariojames1123 for your message. Hope this updated notes in Eng. make sense to everyone.)
