    Is there a way to save your default mappings in Prime so you don’t have to redo it every week?

    I tried with my korg nano control 2 with my ipad and it doesn’t really use the command i mapped with. Like i used the play and stop buttons and i have to hold down the play button to start a song. How do i fix that?

    We used to be able to midi map to keys on the keyboard. Is that no longer an optin? Our drummer runs our tracks so it's better if he can just tap keys on the laptop.

      Hi! Custom keyboard mapping has never been capable in Prime unfortunatelyI but you can use the up and down arrows to move between songs, and the Space bar to start / stop the tracks.

    Is there an easy way to remove a midi controller from the midi controllers automatically detected by the prime application? (example: I connect 2 launchpads to my Mac and configure them as follows: one for prime's midi and one to control my ableton software).
    My current problem is that ableton lets me specifically assign which midi controller I want to use, whereas prime doesn't let me choose and automatically connects the two controllers to its midi.
    In the end, I end up with a superposition of 2 sounds on the keys of my midi controller that I want to link to ableton because it automatically connects to Prime.
    I hope my explanation is clear ;)

      Hi Julien, there isn't currently a way to limit a MIDI controller from connecting to Prime. However, Prime only reads MIDI notes on channel 1. So if you change the channel of your second MIDI controller to another channel, you can connect it to Ableton and Prime won't read it. If you have more questions on this, email us at support@loopcommunity.com!

    Can I just use the Macbook keyboard to control the Prime software? Right now I can use up and down key to go to next song, but would like to do more..

      At the moment we don't have full keyboard mappings available, but you can use Space to start and stop, and the arrow keys to switch songs. What other buttons would you be interested in mapping to your keyboard?

    I Need the Mapping to Jump to the next or previous section in a song

    • @loopcommunity
      @loopcommunity  6 месяцев назад

      There isn't a next or previous section button, but you can do this by clicking a section at the top in the waveform when in the MIDI mapping mode, and then press the corresponding button. Then you can trigger that section to jump forward or backwards.

      I am Drummer, there is no Multipad with a sufficient number of Pads for this…

      @loopcommunity  6 месяцев назад

      @@ProGames-sn6ev you could map it to the repeat button so that you could repeat the current section. Otherwise there isn't a previous / next section button. Sorry about that.
