Mr Bolo salute to you sir for all that you’ve done pushing the IOS production community forward over the years.
I would like that keyboard because I’m teaching 3 kids (7,9,13) about music production (curriculum includes many of your videos whenever we can’t hook up). Sir I have nice stuff and young people can be hard on equipment. I don’t make money from music it’s a hobby I’m blessed to share. Getting their hands off my Roland X would be an amazing thing for me personally. We use the Yousician app though the iPad (covering theory and technique) something like that keyboard would be great for them.

Thanks for a good, honest review. I'm just starting with trying to make my own music and was looking into a good but affordable midi board. I barely stumbled across the Starrykey 25 today and it immediately caught my interest. Came here because a search brought me to it. I’m an old musician/composer (active in rock/pop/new wave in the 1980s) who is getting back into composing and recording (now Christian music). I suspect you’ve probably already gifted the Starry Key 25 to someone, but if not, man-I would consider it such a blessing to own something like that to assist me in advancing in my composition vocation. At any rate, this was a great video with great info for someone like me! So appreciative for this info and video and looking forward to digging into your channel. God bless!

I have the Starrypad & I use it with my iPad Mini 6 with BeatMaker 3. I bought it for the transport control & to bank thru my tracks with physical buttons. It’s the best portable fully midi cc controller I’ve found for BM3.🥁

I’ve seen guitarists review Donner’s guitars and they sounded good for budget guitars. Donner seems to be good for musicians on a tight budget. I can respect that.
Totally agree, they make some good guitar pedals as well for crazy cheap prices. I've got a delay pedal from them which is pretty solid

Bolo im huge fan always watching your producer spotlights ! I can definitely use the midi keyboard for my at home setup 🎹 I’m an upcoming producer finding my way and it’s hard to put the funds aside sometimes for new gear when you got real life to deal with bills etc.

I really appreciate your honest opinion on the pricing of these products. I've only recently seen the Donner brand come up, and sort of have a feeling that they don't actually make any of the products, they just find products from China and slap their name on it and then mark it up. Donner is a Chinese company.
I purchased one and now realize that I wasted money on Akai and Alesis. Less than a hundred bucks and it kicks ass. If you played a Donner MK 25 Pro you would be blown away. Try one. Further, people have no problem with us having a Chinese President so where's the issue?

Never tried Donner in MIDI but I def would be interested. I own a Pianica from them which is a small piano/saxophone style of a instrument. I am glad they are branching out. I know for years they were working on just grand pianos and Organs but they stepping it up. trying to move up in the game. Bolo thanks for this man. I watch all your videos its because of you Invested in the in a MPC One and have never looked back at using any other controller. Best stand alone ever.
Didn't care for the pedals but the keyboard controllers are excellent quality.

Wat up Bolo, the controller looks kool and would really go well with my iPad . I too am a Beat Maker 3 guy but I am currently using a full size keyboard as my controller ( Roland Fantom ) which prevents me for having a compacted controller when I travel. Good video as always doc.

For my iPad Pro, and portability, I like the Akai MPD218 for about the same price new. Also, I use and love my IRig keys 25. I got it on a deal and got Sampletude Max included($159 total)-GETSMORE
I need that portability factor and extra pads ever since my mpc live pads gave out.

They are cool but I've never heard of them nor seen them and then I would have some questions and relationship too touch sensitivity or after touch. Hello Mr. Bolo, I think your show is dope and very informative. I need that controller bad because I don’t have one to connect to my iPad Pro. I have a Kong triton pro 76 key I picked up brand new back in 2001. I wished I had bought electric drums instead now that I know what I know. Nevertheless, as you know the triton is monster heavy, in fact I hardly use it now. Too big to be lugging around. I just really need that midi controller to connect to my ipad and I’d be on my way. I’ve got some grand kids I’m trying to get interested in producing music. That smaller keyboard is perfect to carry around and teach music to my youngens. Keep up the good work. Me and my grand kids appreciate ya 👍🏽

I’m a keyboard player and musician/producer, and I’m getting ready to take a year long trip across Southeast Asia (on a budget lol) so I need a keyboard but these micro sized keyboards aren’t quite suitable for my hands, which is why I was scoping out these 25full sized key ones. Pad controllers often have weak sensitivity or double triggers. If Donner makes good pads, then these controllers are probably worth the money. Pad pressure is in a micrometer range, so it's not easy to produce them.

I could really use a midi controller, although I’ve never owned one. I’ve been trying to make the most of what I have, I’ve been using a 2gen iPad, iPhone and Mac to create melodies and beats. I would use this midi keyboard to continue to create my first upcoming album, and also continue to help support upcoming artist within my church and local community. I’m a young man trying to make a positive difference in my community through music and ministry. Where I live the children and young adults enjoy hearing the type of music I create, having a midi keyboard for me, would reduce the time it takes to produce music. If I am chosen I greatly appreciate it, nevertheless thanks for the vids, and taking the time out to read our comments.

If I got the keyboard I would give it to someone young in mind. 25 full size keys is not bad and it looks cool. I'll stick with my MPK Mini for traveling tho but your reviews are really good so keep that up

Could definitely use a midi keyboard controller. Bought the MPC X a couple of months back and then the 61 KEY came out lol. Don't have a midi keyboard controller but sure could use one. 👊🧡👍
What's good Bolo? I've been a fan of your reviews for quite some time. these controllers seem pretty decent. I could definitely use a new smaller midi keyboard due to simplifying my home setup. Most products that I use between M-Audio, Akai, & NI have a little bit more pricey in my opinion. Would love to be a benefactor of this giveaway!!!

I need this because this connected to the live 2 is better than the MPC keys. Just less keys but more portable.
I need the Star key25 because I don't have one. Using the pc keyboard to find sounds is a headache but it works.

I'm just starting out, and I have everything rigged, I would love to have a nice mini midi. I was the performer side of music all my life, within 2yrs I've taught myself most of the Daw out there. My main studio is a galaxy s9 phone and headphones. I choosen id definitely use this keyboard. No music lessons ever but I put it down and getting better.
I've seen the brand before on amazon, but never got around to purchasing it. would be very interested, also it would be a good acquisition for portability.

Donner makes very decent and cheap guitar pedals. I have a few, and they've been very solid. In my experience, Donner makes very decent quality stuff that is made very well for the price.

Never heard of that brand but they seem solid. My Akai MPK mini I had since 2015 just stopped working out of no where. This would be a nice replacement. A brother just got hit with child support help me out lmao
