sir, i have done my graduation in Bpharmacy this year...so, as fresher , if i'll give this exam & got certification, it will help me to launch my career as business analyst??? please guide me sir..
Hello Sir!! I want your honest opinion and guidance, I am a non IT background person having more than 15 years of experience in branch banking domain, I want to do the career transition and currently interested in business analytics since I am already earning 10 LPA in my current job, so please suggest me the school or course where I can learns skills of business analytics with placement assistance. Also is it necessary to do ECBA to understand Basics/Fundamentals of BA or I can directly do CBAP since I have 15 years of banking domain experience?? Kindly guide accordingly... Thanks
Sure, let me give you some pointers: a. You have good domain knowledge of Banking domain and that is a strong plus and you must use that. b. If you want to apply for a Business Analyst with banking domain knowledge, you have to learn the business analysis formal skills c. CBAP is not helpful as it will not help you learn formal skills as it is for Senior Business Analysts who have already done that. d. Even if you are experienced as Banker, how will you prove your BA experience in the interview, if you are asked about it. Just CBAP certification will not help. e. The experience in Banking does not qualify towards eligibility criteria for CBAP. Which is 5 years of BA experience f. So, in my view take the approach as per point b. Also, it is not possible for a training academy to place an experienced person (even 2-3 years) into an IT company. I will be happy if I am proven wrong.
@@TechcanvassAcademy so in short even if I do acquire business analytics skill, I should continue to look for Jobs in my banking domain itself as it would be difficult for me to do a career transition into it or any other domain????
No, Business Analyst in Banking domain is a role in the IT industry and not a banker role. So, you need to start applying for IT companies, which develop softwares for Banks.
