This is something I have been researching for a minute now, and I love this video. It is thorough, builds in a logical sequence, and identifies points where additional research or learning is recommended rather than purporting to cover everything. I am so glad I found this while I am considering become a Business Analyst.

I studied hard and passed the CBAP 3 years ago. I had prior business analysis activity for 1 year and have since been in financial services. I took the certification to get flexible work opportunities. However, I have not worked a day as a business analyst since then. I don't even know how to find those opportunities. Please advise ma. Thanks
I would recommend you look for a project within the financial services job you are already working in and see whether you could potentially help them out. This will open opportunities on projects and you can transition to become a business analyst within the financial services sector...good luck!
Thank you for this! In terms of building projects on your own, what would you recommend? Coming up with ideas and such I always overthink. And for building relationships with recruiters, what kind of message would you recommend? I always feel as if it's transactional
For projects: Just look out for potential opportunities to improve a process to start with. You can do this in your current job or perhaps a friend's small business or anywhere you can have some input. Re. the messaging for recruiters - this is tricky sometimes but if your resume & LinkedIn is at it's best, look for a role you might be interested in a contact the recruiter with a professional and friendly cover message...they may not always respond but if you are consistent, you might get a few responses. Always communicate promptly and respond as soon as a new role is advertised (while the recruiter is actively looking for people).... good luck! It takes perseverance and commitment but in the end you will find that opportunity!

Hi i am planning to pursue masters in business analytics from online mode . Currently working as a software developer in an MNC and want to shift my role to business analyst. So should i go ahead with it or not?
I think focus your technical skills on data analytics and business analytics....there will be a lot of work with BAs with strong data analytics and data analysis experience in future....(I think ;))
You can but it will strongly depend on your previous experience. If you have no BA related experience and no formal certifications it will be hard to convince an employer to employ you..but as if any job not impossible.
@@BAExcellence . I have a diploma in Business Administration and I also have a degree in Accounting. I have a freight forwarding business I've been doing since August 2019 . Would that help ?
Another thing , I'm new here and I've listened to your Zero to Business Analyst professional video here which I like a lot . I would like to know if you have posted a video that talks about the basics and I mean the introduction of business analysis
