People always say it’s how the dog is trained. You have a highly well trained pit bull at a dog show and it still attacks. Interesting..
Absolutely correct logic that egocentric dog owners seem to lack. A dog show? And a so called experienced dog owner failed to see it coming,. Says more than we can imagine about egocentric dog ownership,. As we walk the street, we don't expect to be in fear of dog bite
Well who says that was a highly well trained pitbull ?

Morons commenting about dogs being well- trained because they're at a dog show once again show their pitbull-hating idiocy. Showdogs, like circus animals, are more often than not, badly treated and when u cage or mistreat an intelligent and aggressive breed, don't t be surprised when it lashes out- I would say that only tough people(a test might involve push-ups and some knowledge of martial arts) should be aloud to own a gamebred pit, because while any breed can start a fight( my mother's pekinese did serious harm one time during a fight but fought alot) pitbulls can often do damage quick and need a toughperson to break it up. I've rescued gamers and " suburban" pits and there is a world of difference between the two types of pits.

@@Matthew_Fischeer Originally, yes, an early form of the breed was used for bull baiting. However, when that was outlawed in England, the same psychos who enjoyed that "sport" turned to dog fighting and found the original dogs were too big to give an entertaining "show". @@giantalbinoeel Ok, so if they're cousins (which I had already known) but are still a different breed, then it doesn't matter if they share the similar genes. They're two different breeds and one of them is being blamed for attacks that other dog breeds are doing. Most 'pitbull' attacks are done by dogs that only look like those breeds. Its also not the gene that makes them aggressive since human and even dog aggressive pitbulls were killed when they were still being bred. It wasn't until bull baiting was banned that they had made them turn on other dogs. When used in hunting, they had to cooperate with other hunting dogs. Many dog breeds, not just dogs similar to pitbulls sometimes see other dogs as threats. German shepherds have to be socialized by six months or issues happen. Pitbulls and similar breeds to it are less likely to be socialized because of stigma (the lie that they are all dog aggressive, and only ppl friendly), and the fact that irresponsible owners want them to be vicious for clout. Their 'aggressive' behavior is actually a protective behavior, or maybe a there was one parent or grandparent that was aggressive. However, that died speak for the whole breed since all pitbulls personalities are different.

Poor Husky. I bet that was traumatizing for the poor thing. Glad it’s okay.
Show dogs are pure bred and trained to deal with other dogs and large crowds. Thousands of dollars are spent to socialize them. My brother's airedale was attacked while being groomed outside (due to covid 19). It was loose and came from a nearby residence. He had to lay on it while he and others finally (luckily) got it off. You can't tell if he was traumatized by looking at it, how ridiculous. After paying out alot of money for breeding and training, his dog most certainly will have long term effects, besides the physical wounds. According to his vet, it can be either extremely aggressive or fearful and timid if in the presence of another dog.
After they got his dog free and safely in his vehicle, a second pit bull showed up. Same owners. As per the groomer, the trash owners have been cited before, for their dogs being loose and attacking. The trauma can manifest itself in different ways, and maybe not for years. Who can say what may or may not trigger it. You spend time, effort and money being a responsible dog owner, and within seconds it could be for naught.
My brother was bitten also. I hope the husky can recover without any lingering neuroses.

I saw this on Facebook. Everyone was blaming the husky saying that it MUST have done something to provoke this because huskies are soooo aggressive and pit bulls are sweet.
So apparently it’s totally okay to call huskies naturally aggressive, but saying pit bulls are naturally aggressive is “discrimination”.
Huskies are a wolf dog breed which means it’s in their genes to try to constantly dominate other dogs, the bully breed just has zero toleration.. got to do your research man
Jaimen Suggs Huskies are not more related to wolves than any other dog species. It’s a misconception due to their coat color. So take your own advice about doing research.
Meh agreed. It’s crazy how that works. What’s even more astounding is that pit bulls are known for being dog aggressive. The breed shows higher chances of aggressiveness towards other dogs. Many have problems around other dogs and often times shelters advise them to go to homes without other animals for this exact reason but somehow the husky was the aggressor to these people. People are extremely hypocritical when it comes to that breed of dog. They will be the first to argue about not labeling pit bulls based on specific traits while claiming “it’s the owner, not the dog” and “you can’t put a whole breed into one category” but will label chihuahuas as more aggressive in the same breath. Makes no sense.
Sweet Cheeks no cult here and please make sure you take your meds
Jaimen Suggs you’re the one who hasn’t done any research
"He's nice- he doesn't bite" they said. every. single. time.
WTH they mean, neither animal was hurt. That pitbull had his Jaws locked on that poor dog, & was shaking his head, trying to do real damage. 👏🏾 for the dog that was attacked.
"It's all about how they're raised." Yeah, ok.
"All pitbulls are evil and the owner had no responsibility for the attack, even when the owner had complete freedom on what dog he would have . Even when he should've known that dogs of that breed may try to assert dominance since it's a natural instinct for them to do so which also applies to a lot of other dog breeds. Surely, no proactive measures could have been taken." Sure, pal.

@@Grande79 no, they aren't, like any other dog, they can turn agressive towards humans or other dogs and this behavior can be caused by lack of attention, neglect or incorrect training.
It’s amazing, when a dog is locked onto something people just keep pulling on the dog as if it will let go. What you do is choke the dog until it has to catch its breathe and releases for that split second when you can pull out.
Not that people just walk around with pepper. But when one dog latches on and just won't let go, throw pepper on their snout/ face and they will let go as they sneeze like crazy.
Grab him by the hind legs and lift and separate. I've heard this works.
U never seen “Friday after next” huh? Stomp it in the back
Grab him by the tail and stick your finger up it rear end, he will let go
That dog was unsocialized and untrained, just like the owners. There is a way to stop them safely without pulling the other dogs face off.
The one time a husky is silent lol. Poor lil guy :(
Unclear what sparked the behavior? It’s a pitbull 🤦🏾♂️
A Dog show, the breed in its purest form, to show the quality of the breed, and here we go, a Dog in a flash of RAGE, a Pitt Bull.
Not a pitbull
Technically, it's an American Bully which is an extension of pitbulls
@@garfieldbuchanan5899 which makes it a pitbull because an amaricsn bully is a cross between a pit an other bull breeds to create a bigger pit so again yes it is
@@garfieldbuchanan5899 Pit bull is an umbrella term for multiple breeds unless you live in the UK.
Pit bull: American PB terrier, Staffords, Bully and some even count American Bulldogs.
If you watch the attacks though, it's a curious thing that the pits don't really seem angry during or after attack. Often their tails are wagging the whole time and after they have this big grin on their faces like "what?"
Really, yeah. That Pit's honestly a great example of the breed, given it's doing what it was bred for. The Pits that don't ever attack are, purely by the standard, the "poorly bred" ones.
I guess people are going to say it's how this pet show trainer/owner raised it?!
Well... The owner does play a factor in a dog aggression. So yeah, you would be right.

Don’t forget Siberian huskies have history’s of being aggressive too. Not saying either dog can be aggressive with the right owners. It’s possible both dogs were dominant. Trust me I’ve been around dog aggressive pitbulls and it’s challenging to maintain but possible without a doubt.
Goth whisperer Siberian Huskies aren’t responsible for 451 human fatalities from 1987-2019; not even Rottweilers come close! Your “Pitty” has been selectively bred for hundreds of generations to be hyper-aggressive and to fight to the death. @@kurovaki No, it isn't about that at all. It is about the capacity of this breed of dog to do more damage than any other breed. It is because of their jaw structure, their muscular build, and the fact that they do not go when they bite. These traits combined make them killers, even if they are not inherently aggressive. When they do decide to bite, their victim is going to get horribly mauled if not killed. 66% of the fatal dog maulings in the United States in the last 15 years have been from Pits.
