I really like that you tried the 11mini. I have one but yet to fly it……. IMHO with you being used to the Action2 this is the best FPV comparison video I have seen to date. I do not have an Action2 but your comments at the start about how much you like the Action2 and how durable it is are very reassuring also liked the plug for the TPU printer! @@vtowndegekste I think the components are virtually the same in the 11 and the mini. I can’t speak on it though I only own the mini. The difference in the action 2 and the mini are noticeable given the right conditions.
Like you I was all in with the Action 2 but after flying the 11 Mini I'm kind of leaning towards it mainly because of how much better the image quality is. I do wish it was lighter but I guess there has to be trade offs. Awesome review my friend new sub here. 🤟

Great no-BS comparison! I'm hoping someone does a battery mod to run the mini off the FC. Still going to lose a little flight time powering off the flight pack, but the weight reduction might be worth it.
I haven't tried the 11Mini yet but my biggest issue with the Action2 is the dynamic range man 🙁The image quality even on my old Hero8 is miles ahead of the Action2, however the quad seems to be flying so much better with the lighter action2 than the heavier Gopros. Hoping the Mini11 can be a good alternative and not an awkward in between

An hour is actually pretty good for fpv but it will start to suck when you’re doing shoots and you going to need an extra battery or power module like the dji action 2 but the hero 11 mini is lookin pretty good like ripping around a 5 inch apex with a hero 8 since their weight is in the same category but other than nice review and rip session I enjoyed it happy flying man 🚁📸💯
Looked at the dynamic range when the action 2 came out and glad I waited, I like flying with flat profile and color grade so it GoPro for me. Might actually try the Walnut for rip and dump clips, see how durable it is.
DJI Action 3 has a micro sd card slot. Looks like a nicer Go Pro and its $200, with the newest Action 4 out. Which just has some slightly better spec's over the 3. But the 4 doesnt seem worth it to me, but it is very nice! I do like the GoPros too, however I'm not having the best luck with their new stuff lately..
@@BaldmanFPV The DJI stuff seems to be sensitive to SD cards, like my O3 Air Unit doesnt like some nice high Spec Samsung SD's, but they work fine on other devices that require the same speed levels.. Now i just buy Sandisk Extreme Pro Micro SD cards AND I only buy the 256GB or bigger cards, because they hide the fact that to get the full advertised speeds for most of these SD card brands, it needs to be their bigger capacity cars. I found this out by buying Two 128GB SanDisk Extreme Pro's, instead of one 256GB SD Card. But they a reduced Read & Write speed, i forget what it said on the chart, but it was only at 60% of the Advertised Speed for the Class 3 SD's. If you look closely they do have an Asterisk mark there, and it does say "Advertised Speeds only capable on 256GB & larger SD Card models... Pluds it just seems to randomly not like other Brands like the Samsung EVO SD'd i have, but sometimes it works fine.. I would try a Sandisk Extreme Pro 256GB card or bigger. Its on DJIs "apporved list of SD card" specifially as well.. Havent had a problem since switching to using the Sandisk SD Cards in any of my newer DJI stuff..

I personally recommend the SanDisk Extreme Pro 256GB or larger. I personally now use only the SanDisk Extreme Pro 256GB, as i have 3 of them and i have an older 64gb I use in a GoPro. I have both and i still go back to the action 2.... reasons ? 1: The mini 11 when i take a knock / hit the ground even.. it seems to turn off.. have you had this? it happens with both the ones i bought. 2: Obviously the size and weight 3: The action 2 seems more durable especially with a good tpu print 4: The mini 11's battery life seems to be rubbish.... is it just me ?
This is very interesting... It's a tough call. The Hero 11 Black Mini is $400 but the DJI Action 2 Power is $280 and the Dual Screen is $360... not to mention that the Action 3 is $330. I think that the GoPro has better image quality by a small margin but the DJI set up is lighter, you have a built in screen and if you get 2 of them, they are easy to rotate so you can continuously fly. Not to mention that they are Hella tough. If you're primarily posting on RUclips, the A2 might be a winner. If you need more "professional" results, the H11M might be the best pick. Nice comparison.
ive been pleased using a gopro hero session 5. you can usually find a used one for about 100 bucks. although im sure the 11 has alot more features and better software
what setting do u run on this, can’t seem to lock in my settings. coming from an action 2 my old footage looks a bit better but i know this camera is way better
I think ill wait for the new dji o3 system, if it has onboard 2.7k 60 recording, why fly an action camera at all and take advantage of 6 min flight times

I’ve honestly had nothing but problems with my action 2. The video quality is garbage and the microphone is shit. Had to get rid of any and all audio from my videos with the action 2. Just got the hero 11 mini hoping it will live up to the hype

Yeah mann its a very similar feel until the battery sag. Ill do some better tighter proxy and see, but no HUGE difference.
The dynamic range is way better on the mini. I’m rocking with it for now.

Since IVe had the Action 4 for a while, I've been getting sd errors, but it is slightly more reliable than Gopro.

I heared you can't turn of wifi/bluetooth connection. Doesnt this make a quad go failsafe? i had this on my session 5 some time. any tips?
It shoukdnt interfere with Modern radio links. Which radio link were you using?
