Honestly? It is very nice in VR, the scale, the lighting, the FX, textures, models, looks so upgraded than the original, mind you, the original was amazing for the time it was released. Very enjoyable
hello I am playing with oculus quest 2 a black mesa, I correctly imported the profile via vorpx configurator but when I play in vr I see a window ahead of me moving with my head but I am not completely immersed in the scene, also I can set to play with oculus controllers instead of with mouse and keyboard if you how do I do it?
Hey, I’m sorry you experience it that way, what profile are you using?!? For some reason you are on immersive screen. Hit the Delete key on your keyboard while you are in the game, the vorpX menu would appear in the headset. In Play Style - change it from immersive screen mode to Full VR. Now, on the same menu page, you need to hit the magic button called Direct VR scan. Before you click the button, make sure that in the game you are standing on a solid, straight surface (if it’s the beginning, make sure you are after the train ride and you are out of the train, standing still). When you are clicking on the VR scan button, don’t hold the mouse and keep your head still, let the process finish. It’s magic! What I find is that after using VR scan in Black Mesa, I need to click esc and go to the game’s options and click and activate the controller option. Then I can play with the Xbox gamepad/touch controllers Btw, if the menu shows you that you are already in Full VR mode, it’s probably Edge peak, so when in the game, click on your middle mouse button to check, it should go back and forth to screen / full vr
This game looks and plays amazing with vorpX, the beauty of it is that you could tweak the 3D strength which would determine in some games how big the weapons and hands would be compared to the scene/world, plus this was done over a year ago, vorpX has been updated few times since, today it even looks better and sharper 👌👌👌

Does the weapons and hands look normal to you? For me they look huge. Everything looks great, but the weapons are absolutely huge.
