TITANFALL 2 VR // One of The Best Vorpx Games // TITANFALL 2 in VR - Will it VR?

- I never completed Titanfall 2, so many regard it as an absolute classic as far as FPS games go but I never found to time, so I've decided to revisiting Titanfall 2 in VR & I must say that this might be one of the best Vorpx games out there... possibly the very best I've tried so far! Titanfall 2 VR is absolutely fantastic, Will it VR? Yeah, it really, really will! With incredible intense gunfights, chunky sound design & intuitive movement/controls Titanfall 2 VR feels perfect and with a Titanfall 2 Vorpx profile bringing the world to life in amazing geometry 3D with headtracking & a HUD that has been scaled to fit your VR screen you're in for an amazing time with this Titanfall 2 virtual reality experience...
I'm on a quest now to find the best Vorpx games & to do so I've been revisiting some old classics recently, I don't know why Titanfall 2 VR / Titanfall 2 in VR wasn't something I considered a long time ago but playing this today for this Will it VR episode I have immediately fallen in love with the game & it's Vorpx profile! The Titanfall 2 Vorpx profile is built into the Vorpx local profiles and required no additional setup or tinkering for me to get a brilliant VR result. Geometry 3D works perfectly but can be taxing on your hardware, switching to Z Adaptive 3D still gives an incredibly immersive experience but allows for a higher frame rate & smoother experience in Titanfall 2 VR. That being said Geometry 3D is definitely the best way to experience this game!
Enjoy this Titanfall VR gameplay / Titanfall 2 gameplay, chosing the best Vorpx games just got a whole lot harder, this is a strong contender & something every Vorpx owner & FPS fan should definitely try!
This video captures me using Oculus Quest 2 Vorpx gameplay from Titanfall 2 VR, this is made possible by using the paid for Vorpx profile, my Oculus Quest 2 (connected to PC with a link cable) & a copy of Titanfall 2 - Using Quest 2 with Vorpx / Oculus Quest 2 Vorpx you can now change the refresh rate & resolution of the Quest in the PC Oculus app, this can push your hardware but allows for a much higher resolution experience *

I would never leave my house if titanfall 2 VR dropped.
I'm with you. With motion controller support to freely move as VR is intended would be mind blowing. This VorpX option is already so enticing. Cheers!
One of the coolest multiplayers just started playing on pc again after playing on ps4
99% of game devs could pull a todd howard and make a VR build of their games and sell it again, i doubt it would take much with the help of open VR platforms and source codes, but i dunno, im not a dev, im just a caveman who knows a few commands and languages
100%
You are not suppose to leave your house anyway xD
I'm a 38 yrs. Old man, I've played and completed many games as a gamer. By far Titanfall 2 is one of my favorite games. I love you BT!
I feel like an idiot for not giving it the attention it deserves all this time, its fantastic, movement and gunplay are slick & the writing is equal parts moving & hilarious. Really enjoying it
Titan fall is one of the best FPS games
Also DOOM
I’m with you. I’m 38 myself and I got legit sad when BT when down lol.
I am 50 and I live too!!!
Yes this is really good in vr. Are there other vorpx games in the same level?
Titanfall 2 , one of the best Games I have ever sunk many hours into.
For me thats minecraft
is it any good?
@@lucasrem the campaign alone is worth the price of admission. I bot it on ps4 and pc twice...
Yeah but you have to be a gosh damn crackhead to get a decent score in multiplayer.
@@jkasar a small price to pay for salvation
"I was supposed to do that stealthy"
There is no game, where stealth is less required, than Titanfall 2.
Or does it count as stealth if you're so fast that they can't see you anymore?
play it on highest difficulty and you will see why youd need to do stealth in a game like titanfall 2
Man, this game is so great and buttersmooth. I really wish the series continued, it deserves to be in the top line of shooters.
OMG Titanfall 2 is the BEST FPS!
Damn strait!
Y e s.
ehhh yeah (besides halo)
Best fps movement of all time
Fun fact: medal of honor VR will be by the same devs that made both titanfall...
Why have you written so many comments...
@@argentumseth8878 because he want to and he can?
@@laos85 no I was just wondering. Was not trying to make anything offensive.
@@xm1808 he meant both titanfall games, I was confused at first too.
Hi, it's me from the future, and everyone hates medal of honor :(
Titanfall 2 vr would be so sick especially being in the cockpit of a titan and being able to see everything inside
Imagine doing a titan rodeo in VR or being able to slash with a robin sword that makes me excited for what respawn is planning.:-D
Big up the man promoting Vorpx!
Love this program.
My fav, racing in Star Citizen. 👍
Getting thrown by the mech should be awesome in VR
You know, I didn't think of that until I saw your comment. I would probably throw up in the part of the campaign where he throws you about 200 meters far XD
Benjo, nice vid buddy, TF2 has one of the best solo story lines. Loved it. Wondering if titles like Borderlands III - Fallout 3 might work in vorpx also
Dude your enthusiasm made subscribing a no brainer
Thank you so much, I do get excited about pretty much everything 🤣
Ohhwww my god! I loved this game sooo much, especially the fantastic single player campaign. Now I've seriously to think about buying the vorpex tool now! :D thx mate!
Haha I'm an idiot for not playing the long ago, I'm absolutely loving it so far!
Okay that's it! I'm sold! Buying Vorpx today. Merry Christmas to me. :) Love how excited you got over this.
Haha this was one of the best Vorpx games I've played, I've been using Vorpx for 2 years and my only advice is have patience with it. Sometimes it will take a bit of time to get the performance and experience just right for your personal preference but it pays off when you do. The more you use Vorpx the more you'll understand it and it becomes a fun task in itself just testing games and seeing how well they run 😁
@@BeardoBenjo Yeah I have worked in IT for years I love to tinker with stuff like this. I actually did buy the software last night I wasn't kidding :) I'm planning on testing it with a Sony 3D Display and as well I have an Avegant Glyph here that I think would be amazing with this. Titanfall 2 was a fun game even in 2D although a bit short if I remember at only about 7-8 hours. I love your "Will it VR?" content keep it coming.
The titanfall series has always been my favourite series of flat screen FPS games but I had never thought of playing it with vorp x so I’ll be trying it out
after a newbie to vr via psvr i said to a mate recently games like titanfall 2 would be awesome in vr, there is hope yet, great video.
This is the first time I'm hearing about Vorpx (one month into Quest 2). This is brilliant stuff!!
Same boat!
Do you have to already have the game on steam to play or do you just need Vorpx?
One of the best storys for an fps ever.
Just wondering is there any kind of mod out there where your gun would attach to the front of the body instead of the camera? That would be the icing on the cake for this.
Hmmm, I hadn't thought about that, you could definitely apply mods before jumping in with Vorpx, just a case of whether those mods exist 🤔
Great video. I am now playing with Quest 2 and tinkering with the settings to get things just right. I just remember the video mentioning that EA’s Origin launcher conflicts with Virtual Desktop stopping wireless play. Just FYI I have managed to get it to work for those wanting to give It a try. You can disable in game Origin through Origins own options which I think resolves the issue. Wireless Titanfall 2 😇
Unless you had some kind of suspension system so you could actually orient yourself sideways and upside-down I don't think even vr does it justice
Titanfall 2 and Mirror's Edge in VR are awesome, but not good for the stomach.
For example: I don't shoot in Titanfall 2 as a Pilot. I literally just melee/ firestar only. I also have a rule: If you're on the ground for 5 seconds or more, you deserve the execution.
VR does NOT go well with my playstyle XD
If they could get a Titanfall game with the same type of movement, literally just decoupling the headlook, sickness be gone.
Look at Stride, the VR Mirror's Edge. Works VERY well. Using hand movement to determine speed works great(threshold could use some adjustment).
I want that but in a Titanfall environment. Of course, Titan mechanics are easier to implement because that's a bit more tame. Vox Machinae does a pretty cool job with VR Mechs, needs a little more fine tuning as well.
Titanfall VR with Stride/Vox controls is very doable. I'm sure if Respawn did it they could make so many people's dream a reality.
But out of ALL of it, what I truly want most, is to deploy in my Ronin from the ship in the sky, in VR, 1st person. The drop pod VR experience is something I insatiably crave. And on the ground, looking up at a Titan slowly falling from the sky...
I love Stride, I'm just waiting for more content, the mode they have right now is so addictive and a great work out but its the campaign I'm interested in mainly 😁
One of my favorite games for a reason. Love it, now I want it on VR lol
Imagine the multiplayer experience, would be so cool
I jumped on Vorpx after seeing this video and after setting it up I sadly have not had the same experience as you. It looks so blurry and grainy. Borderline unplayable on my Quest 2. Would you do me a favour and post your Vorpx settings that you used so I too may gleefully wall run and gun around the place. Cheers Benjo. Love the channel and your content.
Right, I straight up bought vorpx because of this video, and it was terrible. Wondering how he got it to work so well
I think he is simply paid by VorpX for the ad. VorpX will always be worse than native VR support
@@atriusvinius319 I don't get that vibe at all. I've used it on other titles and it's worked really well but I know it requires quite a lot of tinkering. I found these settings on reddit and they seem to be working quite well, it's sill not all that sharp for me though. Anyway, try these guys:
Ingame: 4:3/1280x1024/fps target 90 (the fps target setting is crucial to get good picture quality, i set it to 0 on flat and cap at 120fps due to my display but with the Rift you want it working and applying TSAA while holding 90fps)
Vorpx: Z-Adaptive, DOF on, Letterbox 1, Screen Size 100
Looks amazing look forward to trying! Thanks mate :)
Great, great! Thank you for showing!
One of the most amazing FPS in history. I also miss wallrunning in all other shooters now. Nothing like TF2.
Heres to hoping they eventually give us Titanfall 3
Man, imagine if Hawken didn't die or had a sequel since it has been supported by VR from the start all the way to the Quest Dev Kit.
I was an early backer, so my name is in the credits for that dead game...
@@kerbalairforce8802 At least your name's still somewhat alive on the Playstation
Beardo Benjo.... Thanks for making this video. Titanfall2 looks like an amazing VR game. Can you tell us the components of your gaming rig/PC? I'm pretty sure mine will run it well enough, but I'm going to be helping a friend with a "budget build" gaming rig and I wanted to get a baseline of sorts.
Sure thing, my PC is RTX 2080, i7 9700k and 32GB of DDR4 RAM
You mentioned Halo MCC in Vorpx, have you played Pavlov Halo maps?
Blood Gulch Pavlov with Snipers is pretty awesome. There's even infection maps with albeit strange looking yet functional energy swords!
Shit I haven't played those 😍 I need to though! I lost so many hours to Blood Gulch, I wanna run around it in VR
I remember using tridef instead of vorpx will help you with the off-scale weapon issue, however I don't think tridif is still around, so you may ask around to see if there's still archive installer and profiles around..
Tutorial or does it just play right away when vortex is up and running?
Which resolution where you playing that? I played around this afternoon btw 4K/2K & Geometry/Z-Adapt but couldn't really hone it to something where I would say "wow". I think i have the same hardware, RTX 2080 & Quest 2 via Link. Maybe my expectations are too high?
Btw. That video made me resurrect VorpX and I watched all your other video and liked and subscribed! 😁
Hey Beardo Benjo. I bought VORPX because of you and your enthusiasm. But I can't play Titanfall 2 with this kind of monstergun in my face the whole time. Is there any fix for it? I'm trying Borderlands 3 tonight hoping the guns are not that out of scale. Aaaaanyway... love the channel! Cheers from Germany
Guns being massive is such a pain, I had the same thing with Portal 2 recently, it was pretty much perfect except for the giant gun 😅 I didn't encounter a way to shrink the size of the gun down in Titanfall, thats not to say there isn't a fix out there somewhere but I definitely didn't find it if there is. In Portal there was a fix to make the gun invisible, helps with immersion but goes a bit too far in the other direction because its weird with no gun at all haha
@@BeardoBenjo thank you. Invisible portal gun is a bit far indeed lol. XD
I'll keep trying my favorite pancake games with VORPX.
That glitch you experienced was because you jumped around where the Titan would land before you actually called it in. Really funny you triggered that glitch
Aiming with head tracking seems kind of weird. Think I'd just use a controller.
Yeah I tend to rely on the mouse for the most part but when you want to just take in the scenery you can head track which feels quite natural 😍
@@BeardoBenjo Does that mean that you can switch between mouse/controller and head tracker on the fly?
@@BeardoBenjo I would also like to know the answer to this. I feel like head aiming would be weird but switching between mouse/controller aim and "free look" might be a good mix of both.
Oh god, he's not played *that* level yet. Please, you'll know it when you see it, record yourself on *that* level.
THAT level is like nothing else man, so good
Hey, I've played until the uh "time" themed level, is what you're talking about beyond that?
@@Miku-yu5iu yes, I think so
I've been using VorpX for more than a year now, so i've been through a fair share of non-native VR games in VR.
But Titanfall 2 has got to be my most favoured game by a long shot.
I so badly just want to tell everyone about this VR experience, especially in G3D.
I AM THE PILOT.
I AM THE TITAN.
pretty much still the best action shooter with the best gameloop....fps wallrunning fast shooter combat...then you get your titan and go all out...then you eject the last moment and continue to wallrun around...then get your next titan with a few kills...and so ooooooon. with some skills you can have multiple titans in one life....its such a rush...and respawn knows so well how to make it fun and fluid. its the cocain of videogames
Well I know I said on your other video that I was gonna buy LOW-FI... but I think I need to get Vorpx first.
To be honest, this is all I really wanted (or expected) from the earliest iterations of VR. I just wanted to play normal games with a more immersive perspective, don't mind playing with a gamepad in VR at all. I played a little bit of Battlefield V's story with BigscreenVR (just a giant, curved screen) - and even that was great. Can't imagine how much better it would've been with Vorpx.
I wasn't expecting this sort of "all or nothing" approach to VR - with virtual hands and motion controls for all of the games. It's great when it's done well (like Alyx), but I dunno... in some ways it feels like VR is trying to run before it has fully learned how to crawl.
One way or another, VR will get there. I really don't understand the naysayers who think it's a fad, just because it's not at the level of Sword Art Online's "full dive" VR yet. If you want it to be better, don't pooh-pooh it, give it some support!
I’m going to try this out this weekend. Anything I should know? How does gamepad work with this?
Do we think VorpX will be able to run Cyberpunk 2077 in 3d VR with head look? That is literally my greatest hope at the moment.
I couldn't get it to work this morning, been trying like crazy and I'm having no luck so far 😔😔
The motion sickness would be insane
Haha I didn't feel it at all but I'm a bit of a VR madman, I don't really get sick at all regardless of how crazy the VR game is
This is seriously the best game ever made
always thought this be an amazing vr title
"im not mate, im still in" hahah
🤣
Hahaha “ my deepest darkest gaming secrets” 😂😂😂as if no one was suppose to know you play titanfall 😂😂😂😂
Can you explain how you play this?
how you move, how you aim? Do you aim with your head?
Do you use controller? tnx
Thanks for doing this video, m8...I love this game. You are right, it's up there with Halo...and the 2 games (Halo series and Titanfall2) are games that I'm really considering getting VorpX...though I'm still not sure the current 15% off VorpX is a good enough discount. I've been waiting for a long few years to get VorpX at around $20, and still haven't seen quite a sale.
One delay for me is I need a beefier video card to enjoy it more. Currently using a 1070.
Cheers!
Im a simple man, I see Titanfall 2, i like
I'm an idiot for waiting this long to play it
Please do a part 2 where you try playing multiplayer attrition in vorpx!
If there has a cockpit set it will be more fun in playing as a titan
If you wanted to fix the giant hand, turn your fov up. The quest 2 fov is somewhere around 90 so if you go from there it should feel right
I had my FOV pumped to the max in Titanfall 2 already, couldn't see an obvious way to increase it any further 🤔 might have to change the ini files or find a mod to achieve that
Advice please. Buying an oculus quest 2 for my son at Christmas. I have a gaming pc i want to link it to which is an i7 5820k cpu, 32gb ddr4 ,gtx1080ti gpu. In laymans terms what additional software /hardware do i need to play this game and half life? Thanks in advance 😉😊😊
You should be absolutely fine 😁 you're above the minimum specs for Alyx by quite a way and as long as you grab a nice high speed (or the official) oculus link cable then you'll be able to have a wonderful experience with Half Life. For Titanfall you would require a program called Vorpx, its great but takes a while to learn, isn't super user friendly and gives quite varying results depending on the game you play haha. I always try to tell people that because vorpx is a paid program and some people expect it to work flawlessly but it does take some learning and getting used to 😁
@@BeardoBenjo Thank you. Aporeciate the feedback . Keep up the great work with your reviews 😉😊
Hey Benjo, I am from Germany, so excuse my English. I play TF2 on PC, but now I want to play it with the same VR glasses like you. Do I understand you correct, that you use a special TF2 Version? If yes, where can I get it?
He's using VORPX software to play it in VR
No lie I was just thinking I wonder what would gundam type game came out in VR and then opened RUclips and this video was staring at me
man this is my favorite fps of all time....but I just cant get over the price of vorpx lol...maybe if it was on steam I´d get it
Its only sale right now 33$ I just picked it up
Tf2 is amazing. The multiplayer is something else
How does it work with both the mouse and head tracking controlling the same movement. I feel like that would absolutely mess with my brain and make me super motion sick. I have the game and really want to try this but that is what concerns me. moving the mouse and seeing the view change and not having your head matching the movement sounds super disorienting
Whoa, so you AIM with the HMD?! AmazeBalls
Yeah you can do, its entirely up to you, I used a combination of the mouse and headset 😁
What's the lag like? i tried playing some flatscreen games through link on quest 1 but i didn't like the latency
The lag wasn't noticeable at all, if I had everything set to high (graphics wise) and tried to use the full geometry 3D option then it was a little jittery in parts. With a more relaxed bunch of graphical settings however it was perfect, very very smooth
Alright mate ... can u do a list of games without getting banned... love your content
I would love it if you could consider Resident Evil 7 for a future video? I know this used to be amazing but with a few bad glitches on VorpX. Would be very interested to see how it performs now ...
is it worth buying again as in 2016 i bought it and thought it was rubbish so when i did a clean install didnt bother saving the file i needed...now im gutted(cant remember email ect...)
Can u play try subnautica on vorpex please. Theres a subnautica on the oculus store but was wondering if i could use vorpex on steam since i already own the game there.
I cant get Vorpx to attach to Titanfall 2 :( Also would you start to upload your configs upto vorpx? i could search "Titanfall 2" in cloud profiles and find "Titanfall 2(Beardo Benjo)" ^_^
TITANFALL 2 == LOVE
Its amazing, I'm a fool for ignoring it for so long
@@BeardoBenjo Well at least you have a great game to discover, so you also consider it a gift! TF2 is my favorite game of all time. After watching your video I instantly ordered a oculus quest 2 lol. Thanks for sharing and have fun playing TF2! Don't forget to check out the awesome multiplayer! You'll get melted at first but if you get the hang of the movement system it's as smooth as butter!
Titanfall2 is my favorite game that i played.
Hey, Benjo! I am loving this series, but rather than watching them all right away, can you give us some recommendations as to what games has worked the best in VR so far? Don't need to whip up a video right now, just a few comments maybe? I am dying to try out a few, like Titanfall :D
I don't recall if I've requested it before, but do you think you could try out "Crash Bandicoot: N-Sane Trilogy" or "Sonic Generations"? Those two games both seem like they've look amazing with actual depth to them, but I couldn't quite get them working when I tried. (Admittedly, I'm not very good at figuring out the various settings in VorpX)
Best of VorpX List? In this video you mentioned doing a Best of list. With the Winter Steam Sale on now, could you put that list into a video for recommendations?
Man that’s so cool!!
i just really want to know if it works with the controllers for the quest
'this is made possible by using the paid for Vorpx profile'
Does this mean you need to pay for seperate game profiles on top of the original purchase price?
What gpu do you have?
RTX 2080 😁
Will this program work for multiplayer games as well, In VR. ??
So it’s chunky and meaty.... why am I suddenly hungry while watching this video?? 😂
A nice chunky, meaty cheeseburger... with bacon... brioche bun... a little bit of crisp lettuce... some mayo & BBQ sauce...maybe some crispy onions too 😍
@@BeardoBenjo You sir are evil. Firing up the grill as I type this message! 🤣
Obviously it's not for trying in multiplayer too.... is it?
Oh shit... I hadn't even considered that...
VorpX is one of the best damn software I have ever bought.
Really? I've regretted my buy unfortunately. Maybe I need to try harder

I have a new quest oculus 2. How can I play it in VR?
Does this game real? ??? If it is I will buy it but the problem is I don't have VR 😥
Its a program called Vorpx that let's you play flat games in VR, its very impressive but takes a little time to get used to
I can't believe I haven't seen this before, I'm gonna try it up tonight, it does come w/ gamepass via EA Desktop will update if it doesn't work thru there
titanfall vr is needed

What headset are you using
Quest 2 for this video but I alternate between this and my Rift S 😁
So cool you did this
Im certain you can zoom the gun out , so it's not so big. Once you have it tweaked, can you share your VorpX TitanFall2 profile? Thanks
? Please share fixed profile..
Did you upload the vorpx profile ? great vids btw
This game is fully supported by vorpx.. So there is a profile ready..
Titanfall 2 is available on steam now for all of those who don’t like origin.
Yeah EA and Steam decided to play nice again, you love to see it
what resolution you used?thx
Hey I need help when I try to search titanfall 2 it didn't show me please read this I will thank you
You searching for the profile on Vorpx? I just checked and it was there under the local profiles section
I would love to play with vorpx but I can only handle snap turing :(. The only thing that ever makes me nauseous is smooth turning. I can play Jet Island and zoom around at 1000 mph and be fine but smooth turn just does me in lil
Argh that sucks 😔 I'm the complete opposite, I hate snap turning, I switch the VR games I'm playing to smooth turning as quickly as possible haha!
What are the specs of your gaming rig, if you don't mind sharing?
just gave this a try in Vorpx as its on gamepass now and it looks awesome. Even on my ageing 1070ti it runs decently enough. The huge hands are a little annoying though. Tried Titanfall 1 too but the game would not launch.
