- Amazing, extreme underground and underrated U.K.'s Melodic Hard Rock act from the late 80's.
This is a terrific song! The massive keyboards, the big vocals, great chorus and tasty axework are on the same style of bands like SHY, Treat, Zeno, Prophet, FM (UK), Skagarack, Only Child, Giant, Blue Tears, Tarzen (Madrid record)... etc.
I'm think that if you like any these bands, you will like Garrison.
Garrison are:
Tony Mitchell - Vocals
Kevin Wilson - Guitars
Alec Burrell - Bass
Derek Lindsay - Drums
Michael Bruce - Keyboards / Guitar
The band lasted from 1988 to 1991, but this magnific video was made in 2003 and its full of eights pictures. As far as I know, these guys never relesead a single EP or a full-lenght Lp, only demo-tapes.
I don't know if Alec Burrell is relative to the Bad Company's bass player Raymond "Boz" Burrell (R.I.P).

If this is the same band that supported Dare on their 1989 Out of the Silence tour, they have the honour of being the first ever rock band I had seen live. I remember the very first chord blowing me away, the volume and atmosphere was incredible....they were fantastic and Dare were out of this world - from this point on I was hooked on rock music....great memories!
This song is a perfect blend of AOR/melodic rock. Garrison should release their music. I'd buy it for sure!

Great to find this havet heard from you since the 80's. I'm pretty sure you hade a track in a compilation i own "Rock The Nations" (double record - vinyl). Correct me if i am wrong. Unfortunately my turntable is broken. But as soon i fix it i intend to transfer everything (including yours) to mp3 format. Than i will make some vids and post them on you tube. Thx for your contribution to the genre i love. So underestimated :(

This is one of the great things about RUclips, it's brings music to people who normally would never have discovered it. Where in the UK were you guys based? I'm from the North-East.
