I remember the first time I played this game i was so lost. I had no idea what I had to do, plus the big ass maps didn't help! I'm glad they include a map though.. it was super helpful and still the best map in any game to this day!
This is definitely one of the cooler speed runs I have seen for a game. I remember trying to "speed run" this as a kid as a way to beat the game because I wasn't good enough to actually beat the game lol
I remember playing this game when it came out. Too bad none of my friends or I had the memory card. I don’t think we ever got passed the second or third stage of this game. N64 was a blast.
To jump up walls is a little finicky. Every wall in this game acts a bit differently, but the general idea is that you strafe into the wall (either direction) and hold the space bar (or whatever jump button you have) while adjusting your angle consistently. The angle you need depends on the wall. The very first wall in the game has multiple ways of doing this, the one shown in my runs is probably the fastest though, but it does fail from time to time. Thanks for watching!
@@KaseiSpeedruns Thanks I appreciate it!!! Im wanting to try my hand at speedrunning and Ive been using your video as well as others as a bases to learn. Turok Dinosaur Hunter being a choice game for me cause I grew up with it
@@nicolecherry3348 Glad to hear there's an interest to learn this game! I think it's a good starter run as there's not a lot of movement oriented tech like bunnyhopping, it's pretty straight forward. Some tricks are quite annoying and/or difficult, if you get stuck somewhere don't hesitate to ask for help!

this run is bs. the enimes should not die after one hit. why do speed runners think it's ok to cheat and call it legit? oh well here's a fake trophy. 🏆
no lie this is one of the coolest speedruns i've ever seen.
I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching!
Such an amazing, ambicious and important game. So glad they went ahead with the remaster. It's a must buy for retro shooter fans.
IKR? hope they do one for turok 3!!!

6:30 Wait, hold up... You could one-shot the Hummers by backstabbing?
Wow, so cool!!! I love the game (and the speedrun too)
Autoshotgun with red shells is probably the best gun in anygame
Soo satisfying, I agree with that.
You basically got further in 3 minutes than 10 year old me did in 10 weeks.
*doing a speedrun wr on live stream*
"- Hey what kind of pizza did you order?"
Holy shit...

Nossa, ainda tem gente que joga Turok, legal sksnslfdyi
Such an unique run, could you explain the exploits and why they happen?
how are you jumping up the walls so fast? I keep falling off like 20% of the time.

Do you have video of that new bad clip? I want to see that.
Hey, thanks for watching!
Are you referring to the weird clip in the first level, or in level 4?
@@KaseiSpeedruns
Yes. The one that warped you to the sky.
And if possible I'd like to see the Port of Adia one too.

Nice speedrun, but you did it on easy lol
Speedrunners show you how much you sucked at video games as a child
