The recaros in the wrx suck ass lol I have both of them and the recaros are infinitely worse, and don’t use the excuse that they are sporty because they really aren’t. A real bucket is sporty. These are the worst parts of all seats mushed into one nasty creation.
I've only run old Recaro seats in my vws, my s10 may get some "splash" later this year ; but I agree 100%. Best seats made that I've ever spent any real time in.
i agree to disagree we have great bucket seats in our car and they feel amazing we’ve had them for 3 years and as far as my back feels it feels better when i get in the goddamn chair (but gaming chairs are horrible i agree)
I got a bucket in my miata, as much as i hate driving daily in them, atleast i wouldnt be sliding around in the oem leather seats. For insight, My car spun out hard once and lets say im glad i had a bucket in. I was held in pretty good
Already uncomfortable in my stock seats I gotta get rid of them! They did well for 255k miles apparently but the heated seat function works and the power seat functions don't for either side sooo... I think im just gonna make my passengers suffer with me as I deal with even more crippling back pain but at least we'll be snug through corners 😂
@BoogyJP first off bride Taiwan and bride Japan are VERY different, especially I'm sizing. Bride Tai is way more "americanized" and simply say "UP TO 32" I know guys your size and even larger that say they like the "snug" fit. Even in some of Bride Tai marketing you'll see "snug, extra snug, very snug". It's all marketing. I dint have time to give you lessons on that , but I grew up in a marketing fam(mother D.O.M. for 2 multi Bill drug store chains, Dad- Westinghouse. But it's drawn out +boring mostly. @BoogyJP all I was getting at was soend any time in a racecar and the stock denali seat you get into leaving the track feels like your dangle is being gently caressed by your bosses hot wife. There are GREAT sport/sport+ options out there, and when your 25 maybe you don't notice or care as much but when you've been grinding all your life, raceseats are for racecars. Gimme a Recaro from a 90 Corrado as a bucket. That's all the bolster a street vehicle needs, looks sick, and doesn't hurt your spine lol
I have a corbeau FX1 in my 370z, hard mounted, no sliders. It's more comfortable than the factory seats. Taking the time to get the right seat position is way more important than people think.
Unpopular opinion: volvos orthopedic seats are the perfect mix of usability, comfort and style. Holds you like a bucket seat, but makes you feel like youre sitting on a couch. Nice leather and they are heated.
It completely depends on the seats. Some are designed better than others. I couldn’t stand driving more than an hour in my stock seats, but I can comfortably go all day with my Corbeau A4s. And my passengers have agreed 👍
Naw I daily mine and never been a problem with it. I sit up straight, though, and closer to the steering wheel like I'm ready for business. I understand I am only 5'10" and not easy for people 6'+.
GOTTA not cheap out and buy the lumbar adjustable seats. The stock seats for the s2000 do this to my back, I have pristine seats but had to but super expensive ones just to daily it
The momo "waist support" cushions are some of the best. (Supporto sedile vita-LSCCBR ) I MUCH prefer them over the "half " lumbar models and they fit damn near everything. Key is to lift them about 2" off the base/back joint in recliners , they seem to "sit" fine in 1pc as is.
Those seats are like normal seats. They aren't anything like buckets. They don't even hold you in place around corners, and you need to brace yourself. I've been more comfortable in Recaro CS Sport seats (Which are reclining buckets) for long journeys than these STI Recaro's.
Would anyone buy a racecar and put civic seats in it ? Then why do the opposite? Guys save the $500 you paid for a pair of seats and put it towards a nice car. It’s called saving and having a plan .
