Good painting guide that. Not everyone will know how so guides/tutorials like this are most welcome! Its nice to know that modellers now have a choice of 3D print, ŕeady made or scratch build. Just depends on what you are modelling and your budget! 😊

In wargaming people usually add dark washes in the recesses between the stones (including me). In real life many stone structures used mortar with lime in it making it lightish grey in color. Ofcourse this can differ from region and time periods. Also adding the dark wash helps create depth and shadows and adds realism.

You make it look so easy. I always struggle with the black wash. Just doesn't turn out so good for me. This time I noticed you used air brush thinner with the black paint, will try that next attempt. Thanks for the motivation.

Interesting. 🥰Many of your techniques are the same as the techniques for paper/ cardboard or foam bricks/ stone.😊 I don't have a 3D printer... or a train setup. I actually make cards and journals, but am interested in pretty much every form of crafting or art. Plus I'm rather fascinated with trains. Thank you for always showing things in an easy-to-understand and follow way. 😃

Hello Martin, The Netherlands calling. I noticed that your videos were to me more attractive before you entered the CTRL-P mode. I know printing portals is more time efficient than making them from styrofoam. But I do miss the hand craft. Anyway, nice video and up to the next one. Grtz. Arjen.

Please, show how to print and model this or another building. This question is about peculiarities of 3d-model process, how to make it good and right for printing

I really enjoyed this video but it left me with a question. The paints you were using were acrylics. When making the black wash, why was airbrush thinners used instead of water. Thanks.

I have a question. I am about to build a huge Märklin digital railroad on m track. I was wondering how I should add feeders to the rails(I am only going to run two trains at once) how should I power the rails. Can you please reply with a link to a video or something. Thank you so much and love from Denmark

Im going to build a layout based on Skånska Järnvägar and i want to buy an E2 steam locomotive. The problem is that there isnt an E2 that has the number 1183 or 979 because that is the number of the two E2’s on SKJ. Is it possible to change the loco number in an easy way?

Martin; not a comment but a question. Did Marklin make motor bogies for the old Electrotren large NOHABs? Without stripping the loco the bogie looks like Marklin specs. The loco in question is an MZ or something in green.
You are banned from trains while on vacation.
    Thanks: Peter T
