Great video as always! I realy like this kind of useing the 3d printer. Of course, this is the descision of every single person - but for me personaly, I don't like it to print a complete building because it looses a lot of the DIY mindset. The actual building process is pretty important to me (and most of the time a pretty meditative work). But when printing all the different parts, it's exactly the same as buying a kit in the store. Like I said - this is just my personal meaning - and everybody should have there own preferences enjoying this great hobby.
Hi Martin! I really like these houses! Remembers me of my childhood, they just look like some well known houses in Lönneberga, Smarland 🤠👍 just love them! Thank you! 🤚
Lovely build, and thank you for showing the potential warping problems with 3D printing and how to correct them; great idea using an iron. Merry December holiday season to you.
Great stuff, Martin! I have not gotten into 3D printing because I simply have no space in a small apartment for everything. The houses look really nice. You chose very appropriate colors as well. Thanks for all of the great tips as usual.
Hello. It's great to watch your videos. If you don't mind, could you please give me information about the sizes of the houses in your video? Thank you very much...😀😀😀
Martin, Thanks again for sharing your experience. I've been playing with a laser and recently completed a goods shed. Rather proud of the result from design to build. However, I can see the advantages of having a 3d printer. Still I'll be focusing on developing my laser designs and skills. My builds are primarily from thin plywood/wood but also can use card stock or breakfast cereal boxes, etc. Would be interested in seeing how lasers develop into the model railroad realm. Anyway still enjoy your videos and learned that I need a few more modeling supplies.
Another great video, thanks for that. For handling of resin prints I like to remark if you really work with methanol the disposable gloves do not really protect your skin as it penetrates the glove! You won't realize it as it goes directly into the skin. Isopropanol has a lower penetration ratio and it is less harmful than methanol. I don't want to scare anybody ;-) Many thanks for the printable interiors, I was just looking for such.
Hi Holger! Yes, you are correct. I´ve noticed that since I found methanol on the fingers but no holes in the gloves... I´ll probably need to change to Isopropanol instead.
What a wonderful video Martin. This looks like a really good concept which is well worth following up. Now to persuade my better half that a 3D printer is an essential household item.
I don't have the space/opportunity to set up and build any layout, so I just collect for now, but it's still fun to watch your videos and basically build "by proxy" :D
Great video as usual. But please Martin… We usually don’t have color combinations in Denmark (which is also part of Scandinavia 😂). But again, we are more into bricks than wooden houses 😊
Why not use joint spackle to fill those joint gaps? This is material used to fill drywall joints and embed tape in them. Mouser Electronics also carries those parts for the lighting.
Wonderful showcase. Do you know of any other creator that makes houses? By the way. You can scale up and down really easy. I print a lot of detailed figures and I have no problem scaling up or down. Most new printers have much higher resolution than what the models are actually capable of taking advantage of. You can even increase the layer height in this type of models to jave them print faster. I recommend chitubox slicer instead of the default from anycubic.
Hi Martin! Wonderful video as usual! Did I understand well? you used methanol for cleaning instead of isopropanol? How did it worked? I am also thinking of using water based resin.
Hi Martin, Do you know where i could find some furnitures to populate my HO railway station and different houses (.stl) ? Regards, Christian from Tahiti
Hi! Modelrailroad3D are developing a huge set of interior for H0. It will consist from 30-40 different items. Expect to be ready by 3-4 weeks. Otherwise.. No, I have found some one and one on Thingiverse, but they don’t look good and they are too few
Fumes? No no. The resin is odurless. The resin in the printer is closed-in. There’s only open when you open the printer to take the parts out. However, they recommend ”well ventilated area”. You do need plastic gloves though! The resin is corrosive and not good for the skin.
I really like your videos. I've been running Marklin HO since 1965. I do have a question for you. Do you ever send locomotives out to be repaired? And if you do, where?
Was mache ich verkehrt? Es ist wie verhext... 🤔🙄😔😟 Viele Grüße aus Deutschland, Holger
Very nice!!!
Thank you martin, lovely video, take care
Excellent, excellent work.
Greetings from Chile.
You did a great job, again.
Love it

Hej! Super video ❤❤. Broar, både raka och böjda segment. Typ klassiska stålbroar.
Excelente video Martin.
Muchas gracias

As usual, Martin, lots of information, thorough details, and excellent production values. Thanks for another great video and cheers from Wisconsin!
You definitely have some skills.
Thank you Danny!
Lovely build, and thank you for showing the potential warping problems with 3D printing and how to correct them; great idea using an iron. Merry December holiday season to you.
Saludos desde Costa Rica
There is a streetview available in Surahammar, not in the street itself but you can see the houses from the other street just fine
love watching your videos in december, they are an integral part of christmas time for me :)

Amazing
You are the Bob Ross of modelrailway! Tusind tak, hilsen fra Danmark!
Thank you for the kind words!
Fantastisch!

Great... I m thinking to buy a 3d printer to start with your ideas... thank you very much
With slightly different colors the buildings would also fit a US or Canadian town.
nice and very informative video. Fast 3d development and sinking prices , yea i wait a bit . Thanks for the advice.

I noticed your printable buildings all seem to be HO. Is there a way to use these files for N scale?
Hello, what kind of SMD Led do you use? Thanks and best regards from Switzerland

I have a question I downloaded a file to 3-D print on my any cubic From CG trader, What setting do I use to print it in HO scale
Martin, thinking seriously of getting this printer. How are the fumes? Do you need to ventilate?

Will that work with a filament printer
Good
Hei Martin
Can you reuse the un-used resin from the printcontainer?
Tak for nogle gode videoer.
Hilsen fra Danmark 🇩🇰
Can the interiors be scaled down to N scale?
Yes. Scaling of the printable wallpapers and floor texture can be made in the print dialog.
Väldigt fina byggnader
Finally after all this time, I'm thinking "yeah, maybe there is a 3d printer in my future...."

Hi Holger! Here´s the link: mrr-tutorials.com/landscape/buildings/landscape_buildings.html
@@marklinofsweden Thank you so much, Martin! This will be a great surprise for my beloved son (13y) because he will create his own house. 😀👍♥
Are they always European buildings?
No, Modelrailroad3D has both European and US themed buildings. These however, are Swedish models
No curtains inside?
