Bont - A Welsh 009 Narrow Gauge Model Railway | The Railway Room

Today on The Railway Room is a quick look at Bont, a Welsh 009 narrow gauge model railway layout by John Wooden.
Bont was filmed at the Warley National Model Railway Exhibition 2023, where it featured as part of the 009 village curated by The 009 Society, as part of the society's 50th Anniversary celebrations.
The audio is taken from footage filmed on the Corris, Welsh Highland, Talyllyn, Welshpool & Llanfair, Hollycombe Quarry, & West Lancashire Light Railways.

The sounds make a difference.
I expect it takes longer to fix them than does the filming . . .
I see Warley are going to Statfold in October.

Thanks, I do find the dubbed sound preferable to the background chatter that's unavoidable at exhibitions. And yes, it does take a lot of patience and trial and error and combinations of audio sources to get it working. It's never 100%, but the effect can be pretty good.
I'm tempted by the new Warley exhibition (good excuse to go back to Statfold), but it is the same weekend as the East Lancs steam gala, which is much closer to home!
