She was already bigger than AGT she didn't need to be on that show her voice is bigger than these shows. She needs to stay the way she is with out interference from outside and other singers they need to protect her from them . Not that they are not great singers but she's different than them. Perfect Angelina reaction guys to go with a perfect performance! Recommendations for future you could start from the Beginning and do the Norways got talent, all four songs! Or you can do more current ones like I have Nothing or Suspicious Minds! Everything else inbetween is just as perfect so plenty of choice lol.
I've heard many singers that I consider to be great and I'm sure there are many great singers I've never heard. I can't say where this young lady rates amongst them but I can say that I have never heard a voice that so consistently generates a visceral response so quickly in so many listeners. Rarely does it take more than 10 seconds for most new reactors to gasp, mouth "wow" or furrow or raise their eyebrows at an Angelina Jordan rendition. In this performance, by the time she gets to "my time has come" all bets are usually off. I estimate 8 out of 10 reactors are visibly stimulated by that one line. Now, a couple of years later, she can do it before the first line has finished leaving her lips, as she demonstrates in Suspicious Minds and My Funny Valentine. Whereas this phenomenon could once be attributed to the incongruity between what one sees and what one hears, it has gradually become clear to me that Angelina's voice is, in the literal sense of the word, stunning.

When I first listened to Angelina, I started with the first two songs that you have. Someone then suggested that I go back and listen to the four songs that she sang on Norways Got Talent, that it would give a better understanding of how she sings the way she does. You know that Angelina is doing her own musical arrangements, but did you know she also designs her clothes? The brilliant pantsuit she wore was made of illustrations drawn by her maternal grandma Mery Zamany for the book "Between Two Hearts" that Angelina wrote and published when she was 8 yo. The book is about the experience Angelina had meeting the shoeless girl, giving her own shoes, and vowing to always perform barefoot to remind the world. Layers of awesomeness!

Leave it to Angelina to be able to rearrange this iconic classic showcasing her beautiful voice & her ability to emote the essence of the song directly to our hearts & souls allowing us listeners to also deeply FEEL the music as it flows through her. While I still recommend that you check out all 4 of her NGT performances, I think you'll also enjoy her follow up AGT performance of Yellow Brick Road. (And if you listen carefully to her lyrics, you will hear her foretelling of the outcome of the "competition".) You see a 13 year old coming on stage, barefoot (heard the story behind that?) wearing the suit she made herself using the print of her grandmother’s art singing the arrangement she made herself. As soon as Angelina starts singing the audience and jury go dead silent mesmerized by her with only the occasional oeh and ah. She doesn’t let them go until the very when she releases pent up raging storm from the audience. It is indeed short and the reason my well be the show: they usually don’t allow you to go on for 20 minutes. All performances are limited to 3 minutes as a rule. Still it is so breathtakingly beautiful and it gives me goose bumps every time. If indeed you listen to Norway Got Talent next, use a version with subtitles: more interesting for you as you probably do not understand Norwegian. Angelina has been speaking English fluently since at least 5 years old as I saw in one of her childhood videos. Her parents traveled a lot and she was all over the world from an early age and one of her young school mates stated in another video at around 10 years old that she was a very good English student. She has been in Los Angeles since 12 years old. She also speaks some Farsi because her grandmother Mery Zamani is of Iranian descent and she is also nurtured Angelina's passion for music, esp. jazz. Mery is a famous artist and poet in the middle east and considered a prodigy herself. She was married to Angelina's grandfather who is Japanese, so Angelina also speaks some Japanese. There is a video of Angelina singing to a Japanese audience in their language. I have also seen her speak some German. The outfit Angelina wore in this video is of a print made from one of Mery's works and Angelina sewed it herself. I'm sure there are a ton of other comments so I'll cut this short. Love you two!! She got Heidi Klum's golden buzzer, sending her to the finals where she stunned people again with Elton John's song, "Good-bye Yellow Brick Road." Yes her voice is good and has a quality that touches people in a real way. She did sing Bohemian Rhapsody this summer in Norway at her concerts. It is a good plan to visit Norway's got talent. I know that at least her audition is available with English subtitles That is a good choice in order to hear what the judges say, both to Angelina, and to each other after. I have read through a good many comments, so I'll cut short the information. All around the world there are traditions that recognize the role of sound/music in healing. Even our USA medical profession recognizes the assistance of music in certain situations. As I heard more and more of Angelina Jordan singing, I realized that part of the quality that people can't define is that there is healing in her voice. I find that she can sing even a sad song, and there is so much compassion and feeling in the song, I am literally lifted when it is over. Hard to describe. After following Angelina for two years now and have viewed everything she's performed many many times over I'm very excited to follow your adventure in your discovery of Angelina. Dad, your response that she is a spiritual gift is how so many of her fans feel. Suddenly I believe in reincarnation, that of all the greats from the golden years of singers. Ella, Billie, Judy, Peggy Lee, and so many more have smiled down on this young lady. Her life story is also very facsinateing and it tells the story of a very special person.
If and when you watch her original song "Million Miles" get some tissues. In memoriam of her japanese Grandfather, who was a real gentleman. He helped the homeless in Oslo and often he took little AJ with him, Thats the first lines in her song. The streets of Oslo saw her growing up. When in hospital, he knew he was dying, he told AJ, Jordan (this is realy her Middle name, family name is Astar) Jordan, he said, I will watch you from the moon, see everything you do. Remember that when you hear the song. In honor of her grandpa, she sometimes goes out on Christmas, to bring dinner to the homeless in LA, she was seen doing it. The word is that AGT chased her for years but her family would not sign a contract with Simon's company. They all agreed that she would perform, but would not win. This was so she could get exposure in the US. A dance group ended up winning. After hearing her performance, Queen put it on their website and gave her the rights to her version.

@@103mrg I believe a lot of the stuff aired is just part of the theatrics done for the show. Although I don't recall where I read it, I have seen a number of references about Angelina's management not being willing to sign the standard deal with Simon Cowle.

So he negotiated for a non-standard contract which freed Angelina from any commitments or record deal if she performed. All of her performances on America's Got Talent were outstanding. She also did Goodbye Yellow Brick Road and Someone You Loved. She was by the far the most talented act on the show. I'm guessing she didn't win because she wouldn't sign their contract to control her music. She is incredible.
What is so amazing about Angelina is that you heard two completely different voices now, but there are so many more. The Girl with a Thousand Voices will continue to stun you in different genres with different styles. And you’ll find that her versions are immediately recognizable because you get Angelina’s own arrangements and her uniquely beautiful voice. You mentioned in both reactions that her voice sounds so mature. Yes it does, but it’s much more than maturity. There are thousands of mature women singing. Angelina is the one you’ll remember. Keep in mind; no adult has anything close to the signature storytelling voice of Angelina Jordan even at age 13, and now she is 16 and soon to release an album under the largest recording company in the world, Republic Records who signed her at age 14. The production company that signed her is Stargate (Beyonce, Rihanna, and Sam Smith) these 3 are some of the biggest stars in the industry.

Christmas Show AJ’s Christmas Show that live-streamed on Dec 23 of 21 had some of the most important musicians of our time: Frank Sinatra's drummer for 6 years, and sun in-law of the late Henry Mancini, Greg Field has won 9 Grammys, and the bass player, Chuck Berghofer who also played for Sinatra for 6 years, and toured with Streisand, accompanied AJ on her Christmas Show, and they stated that she had the "storytelling ability of the greats, Streisand, Fitzgerald, Vaughan, including Sinatra, to name a few. The main pianist, a five-time nominated for Grammys, Shelly Berg, stated in all his years working with the greatest vocalist, he had never encountered a talent like AJ. Did I forget to mention Jimmy Z, the famous Sax Player who worked with Rod Steward, Etta James, the Eurythmics, and Doctor Dre, was part of the band for the show? Jimmy stated that AJ was the best he has ever played for. Rob Christie Republic Records Studio Director at Universal Music Group Manhattan Beach, California played the guitar, and was the MC of the show. Rob has been working with AJ from the very 1st day Republic signed her at age 14. (I can't list the complete backgrounds on all the band members because it would take several pages to do them justice.) Angelina stated that she would rather perform than take a breath, and she has never been forced to perform, it has been her decision.

Heidi fell in love with Angelina and still stays in touch and just recently Angelina attended a Halloween party at Heidi's place. I think Heidi has a young girl about the same age. Actually Leni is 18 and Angelina will be 17 just after the New Year. As far as the outfit she is wearing she made it. Angelina used one of her Grandma Mery Zamani's paintings as the pattern you see. So the material was made just for her the she put it together. Angelina probably has many talents that we are not privy to. The four people with the young girl in the middle is her family. From left to right is Uncle Mike her manager, her sister, and as Angelina calls her 'The Love of my life', the beautiful blond lady is Angelina's mom Sara and lastly is Grandma Mery Zamani. They keep showing them throughout the performance. As with all her music, Angelina selected and arranged this version of this classic. Some of AJ's fans will send you the version with her receiving the golden buzzer from Heidi. It's worth seeing. Angelina and Heidi have become very good friends. She recently flew to NY to attend Heidi's famous annual Hallowen Party. They're now filming the next installment of AGT (All Stars), and Heidi will be a judge. She was already bigger than AGT she didn't need to be on that show her voice is bigger than these shows. She needs to stay the way she is with out interference from outside and other singers they need to protect her from them . Not that they are not great singers but she's different than them. I've heard many singers that I consider to be great and I'm sure there are many great singers I've never heard. I can't say where this young lady rates amongst them but I can say that I have never heard a voice that so consistently generates a visceral response so quickly in so many listeners. Rarely does it take more than 10 seconds for most new reactors to gasp, mouth "wow" or furrow or raise their eyebrows at an Angelina Jordan rendition. In this performance, by the time she gets to "my time has come" all bets are usually off. I estimate 8 out of 10 reactors are visibly stimulated by that one line. Now, a couple of years later, she can do it before the first line has finished leaving her lips, as she demonstrates in Suspicious Minds and My Funny Valentine. Whereas this phenomenon could once be attributed to the incongruity between what one sees and what one hears, it has gradually become clear to me that Angelina's voice is, in the literal sense of the word, stunning.

When I first listened to Angelina, I started with the first two songs that you have. Someone then suggested that I go back and listen to the four songs that she sang on Norways Got Talent, that it would give a better understanding of how she sings the way she does. You know that Angelina is doing her own musical arrangements, but did you know she also designs her clothes? The brilliant pantsuit she wore was made of illustrations drawn by her maternal grandma Mery Zamany for the book "Between Two Hearts" that Angelina wrote and published when she was 8 yo. The book is about the experience Angelina had meeting the shoeless girl, giving her own shoes, and vowing to always perform barefoot to remind the world. Layers of awesomeness!

You see a 13 year old coming on stage, barefoot (heard the story behind that?) wearing the suit she made herself using the print of her grandmother’s art singing the arrangement she made herself. As soon as Angelina starts singing the audience and jury go dead silent mesmerized by her with only the occasional oeh and ah. She doesn’t let them go until the very when she releases pent up raging storm from the audience.
It is indeed short and the reason my well be the show: they usually don’t allow you to go on for 20 minutes. All performances are limited to 3 minutes as a rule. Still it is so breathtakingly beautiful and it gives me goose bumps every time.
If indeed you listen to Norway Got Talent next, use a version with subtitles: more interesting for you as you probably do not understand Norwegian. Angelina has been speaking English fluently since at least 5 years old as I saw in one of her childhood videos. Her parents traveled a lot and she was all over the world from an early age and one of her young school mates stated in another video at around 10 years old that she was a very good English student. She has been in Los Angeles since 12 years old. She also speaks some Farsi because her grandmother Mery Zamani is of Iranian descent and she is also nurtured Angelina's passion for music, esp. jazz. Mery is a famous artist and poet in the middle east and considered a prodigy herself. She was married to Angelina's grandfather who is Japanese, so Angelina also speaks some Japanese. There is a video of Angelina singing to a Japanese audience in their language. I have also seen her speak some German. The outfit Angelina wore in this video is of a print made from one of Mery's works and Angelina sewed it herself. I'm sure there are a ton of other comments so I'll cut this short. Love you two!! Hello, Dashy & Dad. Angelina made her outfit with fabric featuring her grandmother's art. She got Heidi Klum's golden buzzer, sending her to the finals where she stunned people again with Elton John's song, "Good-bye Yellow Brick Road." Yes her voice is good and has a quality that touches people in a real way. She did sing Bohemian Rhapsody this summer in Norway at her concerts. It is a good plan to visit Norway's got talent. I know that at least her audition is available with English subtitles That is a good choice in order to hear what the judges say, both to Angelina, and to each other after. I have read through a good many comments, so I'll cut short the information. All around the world there are traditions that recognize the role of sound/music in healing. Even our USA medical profession recognizes the assistance of music in certain situations. As I heard more and more of Angelina Jordan singing, I realized that part of the quality that people can't define is that there is healing in her voice. I find that she can sing even a sad song, and there is so much compassion and feeling in the song, I am literally lifted when it is over. Hard to describe. Maybe it is the sound of Light that we are hearing. Anyway, enough of what people might considered being batty. Grandma Ellen, over and out. 💜

In memoriam of her japanese Grandfather, who was a real gentleman. He helped the homeless in Oslo and often he took little AJ with him, Thats the first lines in her song. The streets of Oslo saw her growing up.
When in hospital, he knew he was dying, he told AJ, Jordan (this is realy her Middle name, family name is Astar) Jordan, he said, I will watch you from the moon, see everything you do.

In honor of her grandpa, she sometimes goes out on Christmas, to bring dinner to the homeless in LA, she was seen doing it.

The word is that AGT chased her for years but her family would not sign a contract with Simon's company. They all agreed that she would perform, but would not win. This was so she could get exposure in the US. A dance group ended up winning. After hearing her performance, Queen put it on their website and gave her the rights to her version.

The Girl with a Thousand Voices will continue to stun you in different genres with different styles. And you’ll find that her versions are immediately recognizable because you get Angelina’s own arrangements and her uniquely beautiful voice. You mentioned in both reactions that her voice sounds so mature. Yes it does, but it’s much more than maturity. There are thousands of mature women singing. Angelina is the one you’ll remember.

Keep in mind; no adult has anything close to the signature storytelling voice of Angelina Jordan even at age 13, and now she is 16 and soon to release an album under the largest recording company in the world, Republic Records who signed her at age 14. The production company that signed her is Stargate (Beyonce, Rihanna, and Sam Smith) these 3 are some of the biggest stars in the industry.

AJ’s Christmas Show that live-streamed on Dec 23 of 21 had some of the most important musicians of our time: Frank Sinatra's drummer for 6 years, and sun in-law of the late Henry Mancini, Greg Field has won 9 Grammys, and the bass player, Chuck Berghofer who also played for Sinatra for 6 years, and toured with Streisand, accompanied AJ on her Christmas Show, and they stated that she had the "storytelling ability of the greats, Streisand, Fitzgerald, Vaughan, including Sinatra, to name a few. The main pianist, a five-time nominated for Grammys, Shelly Berg, stated in all his years working with the greatest vocalist, he had never encountered a talent like AJ. Did I forget to mention Jimmy Z, the famous Sax Player who worked with Rod Steward, Etta James, the Eurythmics, and Doctor Dre, was part of the band for the show? Jimmy stated that AJ was the best he has ever played for. Rob Christie Republic Records Studio Director at Universal Music Group Manhattan Beach, California played the guitar, and was the MC of the show. Rob has been working with AJ from the very 1st day Republic signed her at age 14. (I can't list the complete backgrounds on all the band members because it would take several pages to do them justice.) Angelina stated that she would rather perform than take a breath, and she has never been forced to perform, it has been her decision.

Heidi fell in love with Angelina and still stays in touch and just recently Angelina attended a Halloween party at Heidi's place. I think Heidi has a young girl about the same age. Actually Leni is 18 and Angelina will be 17 just after the New Year.
As far as the outfit she is wearing she made it. Angelina used one of her Grandma Mery Zamani's paintings as the pattern you see. So the material was made just for her the she put it together. Angelina probably has many talents that we are not privy to.
The four people with the young girl in the middle is her family. From left to right is Uncle Mike her manager, her sister, and as Angelina calls her 'The Love of my life', the beautiful blond lady is Angelina's mom Sara and lastly is Grandma Mery Zamani. They keep showing them throughout the performance.
As with all her music, Angelina selected and arranged this version of this classic. The remaining members of Queen loved this arrangement so much they put up on all there social network sights. They also gave her permission to copyright this arrangement.

Some of AJ's fans will send you the version with her receiving the golden buzzer from Heidi. It's worth seeing. Angelina and Heidi have become very good friends. She recently flew to NY to attend Heidi's famous annual Hallowen Party. They're now filming the next installment of AGT (All Stars), and Heidi will be a judge. There's a rumor that Angelina might appear on the show which should air sometime in early 2023. I'm loving watching you guys discover Angelina. Looking foward to more. FYI You might enjoy seeing/hearing where it all began.
