Thats exactly it Angelina just makes you want to hit play again and again and again. You mentioned emotion, watch how many of the audience and caste touch thier hearts.😊😊😊😊😊😊😊🌏
Ohh my god. I thought I was alone in that. What a perfect word to describe it. Addiction. A complete admiration for the talent and voice. Amazing artist.
My friend, I call this a MASTERPIECE! Her arrangement. In fact, she's been rearranging covers since she was 9 yrs old! Besides the incredible tone of her voice, equal to that is her interpretation of the lyrics which boggles the mind! The soulfulness of her voice goes straight to your heart and there is no escape. She is impossible to resist. If anybody is having a tough day, please, play an Angelina video and after you enjoy that, read the comments. Some of them can almost bring you to tears, as well. She is remarkable and we should feel so fortunate to be around so we can enjoy her. And, for the new fans coming aboard, wait till you find out what a caring and loving person she is.
Angelina Jordan is the ULTIMATE PERFORMER, it’s like she is singing for you, and you alone. She knows where that soft spot is within you, and she goes there on the very first note of each performance. She leaves you begging for more like no one else can.
Angelina made her own arrangement of this song for the show. They did not cut out any of it. She has sung this arrangement at concerts I watched since then. Her emotions during the performance are perfect. A true professional’s best talent is making their craft look and or sound effortless. ❤
It's not cheesy to say that song speaks to you, that song is one of those songs that speak to a lot of people. I feel you man. Great reaction video. This young lady has insane prodigy talent.
Angelina is the one who edits or assists in the arrangements of the songs she sings. She was six years old when she recorded her first studio performance of, “I who have nothing”. She is the youngest Norwegian citizen to have written a book and had it published. She speaks four languages. She plays the piano. She wrote and recorded four original songs by the time she was twelve years old. She wrote and composed her debut song, “Million Miles” with Republic Records and she was just fourteen years old at the time. She turned fifteen years old on January 10, 2021. IMO, Angelina is a genius level talent.
We totally understand you getting lost in the performance... it's what she does. She pulls you into her world, holds you there for a couple minutes, and then releases you with a new understanding of the song. I agree with a lot of what you said... Angelina is well above the whole talent show thing. She is something on a different level. I also don't like that the talent shows only allow for cut down versions of songs, but in the case of Angelina, it really doesn't matter. This performance is less than two and a half minutes. The amount of artistry she is able to pack into that short amount of time is just incredible.
Rusty, so many people don’t even know where she picked up and made her adjustments from. Even most of the ( reactors can’t pick up on the picture she held up. I think that man gave her something to ignite her mind
Yeah she sang it to perfection. She sang her heart out. The part '... I don't want to die..." is so heartfelt, so honest, so sincere as if she sang from her heart and from her own life. but of course, not. She is just a little girl who has not lived through it all. How she managed to sing this song as she did is astounding. I have listened to her performance here countless of times and am still not sick of it yet. Go Angelina.
When she sings, "I don't want to die...", it affects people, because God has put in us a will to live. He gave us a conscience, and we know that we have done wrong, and there will be a day of reconning, called judgement day, for crimes against God, called sins. Sin separates us from God. The wages of sin is death. And all have sinned. But God who is rich in mercy, made a way to be forgiven. On the cross, Jesus said, "It is finished", meaning the debt has been paid. Jesus took our debt upon Himself, so now we can repent (have a change of mind), and put our trust in Jesus alone to be saved. Like going into a courtroom, and someone having paid your fine for speeding tickets. The judge can say, your free to go someone has paid your fine. We don't want to die, and God loves us, that's why God sent His Son Jesus to die for our sin, be buried, and rise from the dead three days later. He is Faithful, and can be trusted. Angelina is a musical prodigy. She arranges most of her songs. She'll take any classic and make it her own. As many of her other fans would attest, she could sing the names in the phone book and make it different lol. Thanks for the reaction for our barefoot princess with a Mona Lisa smile.
Many thanks for your reaction to IMO one of the all time greatest vocal performances. Angelina has from a very young age created her own arrangements. There is a video when she was 8 years old, rehearsing Summertime for the Finals at Norway's Got Talent. Only Norwegian is spoken but one doesn't need to understand what is being said. Angelina sings the song a capella to teach the musicians how she wants to sing it and then she works with them on the music. More evidence Angelina is a true music prodigy. For me, Angelina is the most intriguing music prodigy of my 62 years.
The breath control is superb...she mesmerizes the crowd just look at their faces and her riffs second to none...her voice is smooth as velvet just love her...great reaction ♡
this is why you need to listen to the judges, then you would have known Angelina arranged it herself, this girl is already a legend , Great Reaction, she also got the golden buzzer which took her straight to the finals
DJ - Thank you so much for the dedication!! I have been waiting for you to discover Angelina’s Bohemian Rhapsody. Your face was just ‘rapture’ most of the way thru. She did the arrangement of it herself (as the post-performance comments you cut out say) and because of the time-limits she chose the sections of the original to include. It ended up as a very powerful and emotional version that blows everyone away. Pretty good arrangement huh? She certainly commanded that audience.
Angelina’s voice and her total being is like an ocean wave or soft summer breeze that takes you in and rushes you to places you have rarely experienced. Your heart rate increases, you find it difficult to catch your breath, chills and shells engulf you. You are now addicted to Angelina Jordan the finest story telling vocalist I have ever experienced.
Exactly! While Angelina is a technical wonder, the real wonder of Angelina is the way she conveys emotion. She draws us in from the very first line, and never lets go. So yes, in her case «emotion is perfection».
The legendary Queen are enthusiastic about Angelina's arrangement. Queen shared Angelina's performance on their official Twitter account with the words "WOW, what a rendition." 😷✌️😷💯 *AJ* 💯
She does her own arrangements and she picks her own songs. That's one thing the record companies tripped over was that she wanted a say in the arrangements, the songs themselves, and the entire process. They hesitated and she walked away. Republic said OK and she signed. She is VERY hands on. Those were her notes the director was reading at the beginning of I PUT A SPELL ON YOU. There are videos of rehearsals where she corrects the band or tells them how she wants a certain part to go. She has always done it her way and that's one thing her fans love about her.
Angelina has been doing her own arrangements since she was 8. She always has input to the musicians involved and to the band leader, if there is one. She's been known as "the boss" since that young age. Yes, AGT and AGT - Champions do require songs to be cut down to about 2 minutes. Contestants on AGT submit a list of songs and alternatives to the producers, so they can be cleared to air on TV. AGT- The Champions invites winners and finalists from "Got Talent" franchise around the world to compete for a $25k prize, not the $1M like the regular AGT show. This was just the second season of Champions.
I thought the contestants submitted the songs (say maybe 5 or so), and then the producers picked what they would perform from that list. But that's just what I read somewhere.
@@wajj1842 You are correct, and I have edited my comment. When I went back to find the info I had, I read that I was incorrect. So thanks for correcting me. However, the info does not say who makes the final decision on which song will actually be used.
That was a very nice reaction- rather than the usual dissection of each note you took in all that was going on and described it so simply, yet clearly - you certainly picked out he main elements that made this performance so magical. I hope that you continue to discover more of the impressive performances of Angelina Jordan!
Always prepared and completely confident on stage, fearless in her goal and focus, utterly unafraid of either silence or her voice being exposed, she is a force. Her jazz background and comfort there well allows her to dance around the notes at will (pitchwise) as you observed but also rhythm-wise when desired. It is as if the structure of music is so innate for her that she can move about in time and pitch seemingly without constraint! Wow! Another great reaction, keep em coming!
Thanks for the reaction. As of 2020 there are 2 legendary versions of Bohemain Rhapsody, that of Freddie Mercury and that of the barefoot princess Angelina Jordan, a version that the Queen band itself granted the legal rights.
@@103mrg So I guess what you are saying is that the copyright waiver that the two remaining members of Queen gifted to Angelina following this performance was fake, and that the copyright for this arrangement now registered to Angelina's company is a hoax? You need to back this opinion up with some trackable proof, because if what you allege is true, the real copyright holder(s) are in a good position to sue Angelina for every cent she owns ... right? R (Australia)
When Angelina sings, it touches our hearts, soothes our spirit, & calms our souls 💚 💙 💜 Love your review, commentary, & honest raw emotion.......Thank You, this made my day 😊
All the songs on the show have to be under 3 minutes due to the allotted time for all contestants to be on. As others have said, Angelina did this arrangement, as she does all other, herself.
Every time I hear A.J. sing, ANYTHING... any song, any arrangement, any key, whatever, she just has an old soul. To me THAT is perfect. She has somehow tapped into something old and beautiful, the way she picks her songs, phrases her lyrics, breath control, whatever technique you want to list. Just so much beauty and simplicity.
Angelina did that arrangement herself and she amazed even the remaining members of Queen. So much so that they allowed her to record it and then perform it whenever she pleases.
This was Angelina’s own arrangement. You need to know or remember that sh’s been writing originals since she was 11. She did too other songs on this show, having not agreed to give up her rights to this, she performed “Goodbye Yellow Brick road with her version of Sara Bareilles arrangement. The finale performance was “Somebody You Loved” probably arranged by the show, as it included two other performers.
Hi Bingobillable - I actually told DJ that he would enjoy the performance of "Somebody You Loved" too. Even though I believe it was arranged and produced by the show, I thought it was one of the most beautiful performances I ever saw on a TV show. I think it should be an Emmy nominee...it has that kind of special impact...at least I think so.
No back story This is 13 feet from Norway stars sanging She does all her own arrangements on her own song writing remember she’s a private .Angelina Jordan (born Angelina Jordan Astar; 10 January 2006) is a Norwegian singer whose audition for the 2014 season of Norway's Got Talent, singing "Gloomy Sunday" in the style of Billie Holiday, became a viral video online and brought her worldwide press coverage at the age of 7. She went on to win the competition with her performance of George Gershwin's "Summertime".
I love the performance, AND I liked you reaction to it almost as much. The shows do EDIT the performances, but they do NOT come up with arrangements. This arrangement, ALL Angelina's right there. They can offer changes, but a Million bucks says that they never even thought of changing this one. LOL
I don't have to tell you how much confidence a singer would need to start a song in a' capella before a worldwide audience. Very few, if any would dare to. It should be noted that when she was auditioning at 7 for NGT, she sang a song 'I'm A Fool To Love You', doing it TOTALLY A'CAPELLA FROM START TO FINISH ! And that too was in a 'nerve wracking for most' performance that went throughout Norway. It's simply astounding but reinforces the fact that she has never had fear when singing at any time in her life.
I have seen her first rehearsal in Norway where she begins at the start of the original Bohemian Rhapsody with the standard inappropriate lyrics, she is more than a genius, she is in my very humble opinion the greatest of all time x
feel like this Queen song by Angelina is a random performance by her,and no one since Queen performed this great song, could try to perform this song like Angelina, she turned this song totally different, and in jazz, blues style, and she is a real genius to dare take this legendary song by Queen in this way, like no one have done before, great react
Dear sir, I hope, that you will do more reactions on her earlier performances. For example when she was 10 yo, she performed with Alan Walker on his Homecoming-Consert. This was remarkable, as she went on stage when she was ill. In "sing me to sleep" you can hear her voice slip ONCE. Stay save and healthy. Greetings from Germany.
Thanks for your reactions. This one was excellent, as usual. It is especially fun for an avid Angelina fan, who is musically challenged, to learn some of the reasons her voice is so special. Thanks!
Wonderful new reaction with this fantastic emotional prompter of the soul, which is Angelina, beautiful your rapt expression ❤️ 😊 She is so unique, as a person and as an artist, if you think that she at only 13 years old was able to face a challenge with such an iconic song as this and made her become her own song, with a fantastic reworking, a calm, powerful and terribly emotional interpretation and a great courage to take him to one of the most difficult audiences of the show. 🤗 She searched her way for her version of the song and chose the lyrics that fit. Simply, changing the times and the reading key, based on her ability to understand and elaborate the song which, for a girl of that age, is almost supernatural, she created HER Bohemia Rhapsody.❤️ The 3 year old little girl in Norway had a dream, while watching the Talents on TV, to sing one day for Simon and after only 10 years she achieved it really well, she fascinated him. I have lost count of how many times I have heard her in this interpretation ... yet each time she caresses my heart again The arrangements of each song are her, they are his splendid trademark "made in Angelina", also try this song, you will see what he is capable of doing with a tiny piano and her slowed voice, but it's really just a drop in the bucket of her splendid reinterpretations of the songs. "Wicked Game" - Age 12 - ruclips.net/video/5IAMF4FDfw4/видео.html
Probably one of the best moments ever in such competitions. She's done it incredible well. Very good technicly and a stunning interpretation....and tons of emotion.
To understand why many consider Angelina Jordan a musical genius, at such a young age, I would beg you to analyze, in a gradual way, as far as your time makes it possible, the vocal tools used by this girl in the following songs: 1. Two songs that are not covers, because their authors asked specifically to Angelina to interpret them: • “Song for A” (at age 13). ruclips.net/video/Bo3mhxPM-uA/видео.html: It is the only song on Nico Cartosio's album “Melting” that includes vocalization by a singer; the others are merely instrumental. Cartosio wrote this song specifically for Angelina. This lovely song is based on the 1783 poem “The rigs of barley” by Scottish poet Robert Burns (1759-1796). • “I’m still am holding out for you” (demo): ruclips.net/video/Dv8mjCh5iiE/видео.html . It was recorded one week before she turning 11. Some consider it to represent one of Angelina's best vocal performances. I would very much appreciate to know your technical criteria in this regard. 2. Some covers that show Angelina's extraordinary maturity and capacity as a vocalist, at a very early age, and not only her technical quality, but her impressive ability to sing these songs almost ripping her soul: • I put a spell on you, by Screaming Jay Hopkins ruclips.net/video/nwFloCPXzCs/видео.html at age 9 • A million years ago, by Adele ruclips.net/video/QHLtZQ3sIwE/видео.html, performed at the age of 11, accompanied only by her friend the talented guitarist Iván Méndez. • Stay, by Rihanna ruclips.net/video/_GSVPvCy3Yg/видео.html, at age 11, accompanied by Ivan Mendez's guitar. • Born to die, by Lana del Rey, ruclips.net/video/DNU-HcLuO_I/видео.html, at age 12, accompanied by a music track and the new microphone that her family gave her as a present for her 12th birthday. • It’s a man's world by James Brown ruclips.net/video/HEm7tGrjIKk/видео.html at age 12, • Someone like you by Adele ruclips.net/video/nU9TA70fXro/видео.html • Wicked game by Chris Isaac, ruclips.net/video/5IAMF4FDfw4n/видео.html, at 13 years old, accompanying herself on her piano. • The show must go on, by Queen, ruclips.net/video/6NJv02ot5jg/видео.html, at age 13, accompanied by a musical track. • I have nothing by Whitney Houston ruclips.net/video/eTcvvO6B3Io/видео.html , at age 13 • All of me - John Legend ruclips.net/video/oEeEurjqdWg/видео.html • Welcome to my world - Elvis Presley - ruclips.net/video/r_rmm9tqsMw/видео.html • Moon river - Audrey Hepburn - ruclips.net/video/0n13XcVdQr8/видео.html • I'd rather go blind - Etta James ruclips.net/video/pK8mMXQb3_I/видео.html 3. And finally, the three songs that Angelina wrote at the age of 12: “Shield”, “Oslo", “What is life"
Her ability to awake in you all sorts of emotions is unique..don't see anyone those days able to stimulate this.By this I mean true authentiques emotions...so rare this days. She is not playing emotion she is pure sincere emotion ,like none other. Now she is entering a new world,I pray that she will be able to keep that treasure. I must admit that it scares me more than a little bit though.
Your description and visualization of the black notes and her command of the notes around those before finding that end note was a superb way to describe what I’ve been searching to understand about her performance. I’ve been equally memorized by this performance and one thing I’ve haven’t heard too many people comment on was just how cool she is. Like in that smoky jazz club - easy come easy go - whatever it is it is - kind of cool she has about her. And she seems to bring is along for that intensely intimate ride along with here when she performs. Hard to fathom a more perfect rendition and artist right now. She is the pinnacle of cool, talent, and beauty and I’m so glad that she shares that with the world.
Angelinas talent is unmatched and her emotion and control is totally thoughtless. She truly is a master of feelings and leaves us all in shock and I personally listen to her again and again I really enjoyed your reaction and thanks
Why I enjoy the most is seeing all the vocal coaches’ reaction and how you are all hypnotized by her singing. I just love that because she causes goose bumps and a shock reaction to every single person who listens.
I loved the rawness and honesty of your reaction. I agree that emotion is a huge part of her performance. Her 'playing' with the notes only adds to it. She doesn't lose sight of the message. A true artist. Your face said it all. Thanks.
What you’ll see as you continue with Angelina is that her span of genres and the flexibility of her voice is hard to believe. A few days ago, you watched I Put a Spell on You, and today-this. She killed both of them, and you’ve only just begun. Angelina is also the best interpreter of lyrics I’ve ever heard. That’s a big statement, but as an example, watch her make you forget Adele’s original version of A Million Years Ago, which she does with just a simple acoustic guitar and a mic. It’s absolutely stunning, and you’ll hear her amazing low register. (She does her own arranging. Bohemian Rhapsody was designed to fit into AGT’s time limits.)
Mar 19, 2021 · A musical prodigy, Angelina Jordan sang for the first time at barely a year old, and she never stopped. The Los Angeles-based 14-year-old singer and songwriter amplified her voice around the globe, racking up over half-a-billion RUclips views, just shy of 2 billion Facebook views, and praise from Time, CNN, The BBC,
If you listen very carefully to her pretalk she dedicated this choice of song to her deceased grandfather. There you have a bit of explanation even to the extra emotions.
The technical ability she has is one of the most insane things i have ever witnessed. And then her ability so suck you in emotionally tops the whole thing off. One in a billion talent
I think whats most unique about Angelina is her interpretation of the songs she sings. Its as she is singing songs all her own. Not only is she technically sound but its original. She hears the songs differently than everyone else. I think we have only heard a small portion of what is coming. What we hear is truly original sound we haven't heard before. She is creating something new which could be called genius.
If you had listened to Simon’s comment, you would hear him say that she was obviously all over the performance, the arrangement, etc. She is so creative and talented, that she does it all. She just came out with an original, Million Miles, and it’s been released 3 times, the last time it’s called “Official” edition. I understand she had much to do with making the video as well. Did you see her performances for Norway’s Got Talent yet? Seven years old!
As per the others this is 100% Angelina’s arrangement. If you want to see Angelina twist a couple of other songs try California Dreaming or Wicked Game.
You don't know yet that Angelina Jordan is the best singer you have ever heard, but you will :-) Probably after you have watched a couple of dozen more of her 100+ original and cover videos out there in YT land. Enjoy your trip down the rabbit hole.
Thanks for the lovely reaction. It's hard to encapsulate all my disjointed thoughts about this performance into one cohesive post, but here are my random thoughts as I watch this: First, let's talk about the judges. The first thing that I notice is that there really seems to be a connection between Heidi Klum and Angelina. Heidi is the one that does the on-stage interview, is the only one to applaud before Angelina starts to sing and is the one who gives the golden buzzer. Next is Howie Mandel. I think Howie is just cutting up a bit when he asks, "So the rest of us don't matter?" While Angelina is quickly rescued from that trap question by Heidi, I feel like Angelina, for an instant there, felt like he was putting her on the spot because after her performance, she seems to have little anxiety when he starts to talk and after he finishes she gives him a polite "thank you" along with a rather perfunctory smile. When Angelina starts to sing, Alesha Dixon says, "Wow!" The next time Alesha is the focus of the camera, she looks like she is about to start crying. She is REALLY affected by Angelina's performance. Then Angelina gives her a break by belting out that big note that shocked her out of that emotional abyss she's about to slip into. If you've seen Angelina's Gloomy Sunday think back to Mia Gunderson being an absolute wreck at the end. Finally, Simon. This is the moment Angelina had been waiting for. We all know that Simon can be pretty abrasive when he doesn't like someone. When he starts out, his comments are a bit vague. He says that it all came from her and talks about the simplicity of the arrangement. If you look at Angelina's face, at this point, she's smiling but not really sure what direction his comments are going to go. He says, "I've never heard that version before and my thought is, "Of course you haven't heard it you idiot. Angelina never performed it for you before." Finally, when he says, "Seriously, that was an amazing performance," she relaxes and appears to be happy and satisfied that she accomplished what she came for. Now, about Angelina and her performance: Bohemian Rhapsody is one of those songs that get covered rarely and for good reason. It's rarer still to hear a good cover of it. So what did Angelina do? She took a big risk. She took an iconic rock anthem and turned it into an intimate, soulful ballad that was absolutely stunning. If you watch the crowd and judges during the song, there are a few things to note. After some initial applause, the entire arena is almost completely silent with everyone focused on Angelina. There is a wide shot of the audience near the end and you can see the whole place lit up with everyone's flashlights. Angelina OWNED the room! Some reactors see the blond woman and young girl in the audience and think the girl is crying and her mother is comforting her. While I suppose that's possible, the blond woman is Angelina's mother and the young girl is Angelina's younger sister. Of note is that the older woman in that shot nearer to the camera is Mery Zamani, Angelina's maternal grandmother who is the first one on her feet at the end of the song and is crying almost uncontrollably after the golden buzzer. I think that performance was the one Angelina had been practicing for all her life and it was worth the wait and all the effort.
She is phenomenal a class singer, love to gift her a beautiful poetry book "Soulful Poems" By late Tony Petrossian, there are few songs arranged lyrics from his book, thank you Temple Music Academy.
AGT has this annoying time limit for the performances (so they get time for all that other stuff), but to be honest: some parts of this song just wouldn't work with a single voice. I don't think they cut anything out in post production editing, she just had to adapt her arrangement to fit within the time limit.
Absolutely Angelina's arrangement. About the portion of the song she chose to sing is a slower part of the original and also more age appropriate. As you pointed out, she doesn't sing songs, she sings emotions. One can discuss technique, practice, teaching, etc. But what this girl has can't be taught! Her commitment to each song she sings in terms of making it her own vision is truly remarkable. I think when she listens to a song, it goes through an "Angelina sieve" and comes out from a whole new perspective and her beautiful raspy, warm, husky voice. Don't know if you've reacted to this one but one of the most amazing reinterpretation of a song Angelina has done is Chris Isaac's "Wicked Game" Here's a link to a beautifully crafted fan video around a recording Angelina's grandma did ruclips.net/video/5IAMF4FDfw4/видео.html
excellent as all your videos. When you feel like doing an Angelina again consider her performing "I'd rather go blind" sitting on her couch and sending you back in time.
In fact Queen gave her copyright privileges for her arrangement! In an unusual twist, she based her performance of "Yellow Brick Road" (her next appearance) on Sara Bareilles' arrangement. Thanks! appreciate your reaction!
@@nyima04011 In my opinion, people who simply repeat things they read on the internet are nothing but irresponsible gossips. This is one of the main reasons why the internet can be so unreliable and polluted with false information....If you're curious about what's true, quit being so lazy and do your own proper research.
Another thing... I think she makes these runs on the spot. It sounded different on the rehearsal, and the recorded version is different also. Its improvised, believe it or not!
She did an interview with a Norwegian Media outlet before an after her performance and she sang this bit in the car to the interviewer. From my understanding Angelina does her own arrangements and the show agreed to that. They also only allow a ridiculously short amount of time to audition.
I understand from reactors specialized on reacting to AGT that the first rounds song is a free choice (as long as as the rights can be obtained maybe). There's also a video of her rehearsing it in a hotel room with her trusted guitar player from norway, Egil Clausen. I dont believe the performance itself is cut, we stumbled on some people here who where actually there when it was recorded. I guess they would have told it. But you can assume that everything around it is manipulated The order of the performances, shots from the audience, they even replaced Simons comment on another contestant with that one of the previous round.
I share your skepticism regarding AGT. This show was AGT-The Champions with all contestants having won somewhere, Norway for Angelina. This performance got her the Golden Buzzer putting her into the top 10 where she sang Yellow Brick Road. Amazingly, the Super Fans did not vote her into the top 5 just as they failed to do for Marcelito Pomoy? Talk about a “rigged election”!😳
And the reason I will no longer watch any of AGT's shows. 50 so called "Super Fans", voting on which acts get to move on, and which will eventually win, that apparently know NOTHING of singing talent, but are in awe of people tumbling around on stage. Not to say the eventual winners didn't have skill at something they practiced hard at, but I wouldn't classify it as "talent".
@@musicluvr70 Weren't they great - that tumbling act whose name escapes me. The trouble is that the spectacle relied on close-ups and slow motion, which only TV can provide. Watch it live and all you're aware of is dozens of bodies running hither and thither with the occasional flip that you miss because you were looking at the other end of the stage. They make no sense as a live act because the best bits are over in a fraction of a second and consequently easily missed. Introduce slo-mo and yeah, even me chewing my dinner looks spectacular. Then there's the cost. All those people have to be paid, transported, accommodated, fed and prevented from scratching each others' eyes out. What were the "superfan(tom)s" thinking? Anyhow, I can't remember the winners' name, which kinda says it all.
I have read that AGT performers have a set limited amount of time for their performances so they have to abbreviate the song. I have also heard that Angelina always takes the lead in creating her arrangements. I don't know these things as a fact, just what I've heard. Angelina appears to be able to convey true emotion and feeling with just about all the songs she sings. She has had this ability since she was 6yo so she probably was born with it.
Congrats on 'rolling back' after interruptions. I don't understand how first-time listeners can help NOT to! Reactions from Jan-Feb of 2020 (just after this aired) had comments that described this as AJ's first song and it was Her Choice, Her Arrangement. After that, she was assigned to do a song - well-known to the judges so they could match her performance in an Apples-to-Apples format. The third song was, well, lamentable but also their choice as she was assigned to work with a visual artist and a performance artist simultaneously. This was, therefore, Her One Shot, with a strict time limit. I've never bothered with any of these type of shows, but I did follow it for those 3 AJ performances and the results were so abysmal that it make avoidance of this show soooo much easier.
loved it. I do watch in over and over and over again. your explanation the of keys "around" her "note" was great. since I know nothing about singing or playing any instrument. I have learned her version. now I sing it (lol) whenever!!!! thank you.

Thank you for your reaction video.
Even if you didn’t say a single word, the look on your face said it all.
When Angelina sings you don't just listen to the song, she draws you right in emotionally.
She did the arrangement. Amazing.
I agree.
She did this arrangement. She's amazing.
The arrangement was Angelina's own.
correct
For more info., check out Living Waters on you tube.
I love how you just melted the moment she started singing 💖
Angelina is a musical prodigy. She arranges most of her songs. She'll take any classic and make it her own. As many of her other fans would attest, she could sing the names in the phone book and make it different lol. Thanks for the reaction for our barefoot princess with a Mona Lisa smile.
Reactions to Angelina Jordan never get old. She makes me you feel every word...
Outstanding performance
She does all the arrangements on all her songs & can change her voice for every song.
So glad you mentioned the emotion she conveys. She can really draw you in.
100% Angelina’s arrangement as is the case with all her recordings; crazy when you think about it...
david Not Yellow Brick Road-----Sara Bareilles arrangement.
@@103mrg Yes & no, Yes it's Sara's but she still made it her own within the context that the show would allow.
Fantastic performance Love this Girl Thank you Please keep them coming
The insane thing is as performance was done when she was only 13 years old she is phenomenal
Yeah, but those are Angelina years. For normal years, multiply by three.
That little humming-like vocalization towards the end just sends me every time. Her dancing vibrato of hers is always an amazing thing to here.
Thanks for the reaction. As of 2020 there are 2 legendary versions of Bohemain Rhapsody, that of Freddie Mercury and that of the barefoot princess Angelina Jordan, a version that the Queen band itself granted the legal rights.
Mundo Queen doesn't own the rights to BR.
@@103mrg So I guess what you are saying is that the copyright waiver that the two remaining members of Queen gifted to Angelina following this performance was fake, and that the copyright for this arrangement now registered to Angelina's company is a hoax? You need to back this opinion up with some trackable proof, because if what you allege is true, the real copyright holder(s) are in a good position to sue Angelina for every cent she owns ... right?
They authorized her copyright to her arrangement.
After her performance Queen, probably Brian May, called her and gave her his Blessing on her Arrangement. Copyrights on her Arrangements.
Angelina also designed her outfit based on one of her grandmother's paintings.
James And sewed it too.

.Angelina Jordan (born Angelina Jordan Astar; 10 January 2006) is a Norwegian singer whose audition for the 2014 season of Norway's Got Talent, singing "Gloomy Sunday" in the style of Billie Holiday, became a viral video online and brought her worldwide press coverage at the age of 7.

LOL
I don't have to tell you how much confidence a singer would need to
start a song in a' capella before a worldwide audience. Very few, if
any would dare to. It should be noted that when she was auditioning
at 7 for NGT, she sang a song 'I'm A Fool To Love You', doing it
TOTALLY A'CAPELLA FROM START TO FINISH ! And that too was in
a 'nerve wracking for most' performance that went throughout Norway.
It's simply astounding but reinforces the fact that she has never had
fear when singing at any time in her life.

Her emotion touchs the Soul through the frequency she emits. Straight to the ❤
how awesome was that ,don't know why but britney murphy popped into my head all of a sudden, vary talented young lady
You should watch her win Norway’s GT at 7! She was born with it!
Simply, changing the times and the reading key, based on her ability to understand and elaborate the song which, for a girl of that age, is almost supernatural, she created HER Bohemia Rhapsody.❤️
The 3 year old little girl in Norway had a dream, while watching the Talents on TV, to sing one day for Simon and after only 10 years she achieved it really well, she fascinated him. I have lost count of how many times I have heard her in this interpretation ... yet each time she caresses my heart again
The arrangements of each song are her, they are his splendid trademark "made in Angelina", also try this song, you will see what he is capable of doing with a tiny piano and her slowed voice, but it's really just a drop in the bucket of her splendid reinterpretations of the songs.
"Wicked Game" - Age 12 - ruclips.net/video/5IAMF4FDfw4/видео.html
Probably one of the best moments ever in such competitions. She's done it incredible well. Very good technicly and a stunning interpretation....and tons of emotion.
Angeline Jordan does her own arrangements she’s the one who orchestrates the song nobody else
To understand why many consider Angelina Jordan a musical genius, at such a young age, I would beg you to analyze, in a gradual way, as far as your time makes it possible, the vocal tools used by this girl in the following songs:
1. Two songs that are not covers, because their authors asked specifically to Angelina to interpret them:
• “Song for A” (at age 13). ruclips.net/video/Bo3mhxPM-uA/видео.html: It is the only song on Nico Cartosio's album “Melting” that includes vocalization by a singer; the others are merely instrumental.
2. Some covers that show Angelina's extraordinary maturity and capacity as a vocalist, at a very early age, and not only her technical quality, but her impressive ability to sing these songs almost ripping her soul:
• I put a spell on you, by Screaming Jay Hopkins ruclips.net/video/nwFloCPXzCs/видео.html at age 9
• A million years ago, by Adele ruclips.net/video/QHLtZQ3sIwE/видео.html, performed at the age of 11, accompanied only by her friend the talented guitarist Iván Méndez.
• It’s a man's world by James Brown ruclips.net/video/HEm7tGrjIKk/видео.html at age 12,
• Someone like you by Adele ruclips.net/video/nU9TA70fXro/видео.html
• Wicked game by Chris Isaac, ruclips.net/video/5IAMF4FDfw4n/видео.html, at 13 years old, accompanying herself on her piano.
• The show must go on, by Queen, ruclips.net/video/6NJv02ot5jg/видео.html, at age 13, accompanied by a musical track.
• I have nothing by Whitney Houston ruclips.net/video/eTcvvO6B3Io/видео.html , at age 13
• All of me - John Legend ruclips.net/video/oEeEurjqdWg/видео.html
• Welcome to my world - Elvis Presley - ruclips.net/video/r_rmm9tqsMw/видео.html
• Moon river - Audrey Hepburn - ruclips.net/video/0n13XcVdQr8/видео.html
• I'd rather go blind - Etta James ruclips.net/video/pK8mMXQb3_I/видео.html
She truly is a master of feelings and leaves us all in shock and I personally listen to her again and again
I really enjoyed your reaction and thanks
Sorry not thoughtless but flawless
Sorry I did not mean thoughtless I meant flawless
Why I enjoy the most is seeing all the vocal coaches’ reaction and how you are all hypnotized by her singing. I just love that because she causes goose bumps and a shock reaction to every single person who listens.
I loved the rawness and honesty of your reaction. I agree that emotion is a huge part of her performance. Her 'playing' with the notes only adds to it. She doesn't lose sight of the message. A true artist. Your face said it all. Thanks.
I’m so glad you noticed! I try and be direct and real with every reaction and it doesn’t always garner the best comments as you can imagine haha ❤️
You'll never please everyone. Stay real. It means everything.

Love her version
Great reaction..thumbs up to you
"Dancing vibrato" well stated.
As per the others this is 100% Angelina’s arrangement. If you want to see Angelina twist a couple of other songs try California Dreaming or Wicked Game.
Kevin Also "A Natural Woman" and "Can't Take My Eyes Off You".
It's hard to encapsulate all my disjointed thoughts about this performance into one cohesive post, but here are my random thoughts as I watch this:
First, let's talk about the judges.
Now, about Angelina and her performance:
Bohemian Rhapsody is one of those songs that get covered rarely and for good reason.
Very few can move an audience by themselves like Angelina!!
Good reaction. Your expression says it all
She is phenomenal a class singer, love to gift her a beautiful poetry book "Soulful Poems" By late Tony Petrossian, there are few songs arranged lyrics from his book, thank you Temple Music Academy.
AGT has this annoying time limit for the performances (so they get time for all that other stuff), but to be honest: some parts of this song just wouldn't work with a single voice. I don't think they cut anything out in post production editing, she just had to adapt her arrangement to fit within the time limit.
You are the best reactor in music... Your ear and your ability to deliver the message...bravo
May God continue to BLESS this BEAUTIFUL ANGEL and keep her safe. ❤
excellent as all your videos.
Thanks! appreciate your reaction!

amazing my favorite young singer
Her own arrangement that she copyrighted..it’s available to download..))
Another thing... I think she makes these runs on the spot. It sounded different on the rehearsal, and the recorded version is different also. Its improvised, believe it or not!
Her voice is her instrument and she is clever .
Angelina arranged this song. She does all of her own arrangements.
@@way2deep100 I agree 100%

@@103mrg Thank you. And yet I know I will have forgotten again tomorrow.
Goosebumps ❤
I have learned her version. now I sing it (lol) whenever!!!! thank you.

Angelina does her own arrangements.
