Wow. I had to rewind to find out if I heard you correctly - that’s absolutely mind-blowing about someone memorizing the Bible. I struggle with my grocery list! I completely agree - less complicated the better. My 15 yr old suggested confession - I love the monthly - more family-friendly 1x month idea. I love your ideas for my Sunday school class, too!
We also did a double take when we heard this, Amber, but apparently (we googled it) he is not the only one! Jimmy Akin at Catholic Answers casually (!) also said: well, the Bible is only about 1200 pages, so it's very doable. Lol- doable for some people, maybe. We are so glad the video was helpful for you. I never heard of adopting a cemetery. Great idea! I'm adopting the cemetery where my grandmother is buried. When I visit my grandmother's grave I always pray a rosary for the Holy Souls.

The Holy Souls are very dear to us here, definitely. It is a joy for us to pray for them!
Oh I love your monthly book challenge, dont know if I can pull it up... but I accept it. I have few in Queue. I love the prayer memorization or prayer of the month one. Nice list!

I love all of these challenges! Thank you for all of the ideas. I definitely want to read more Catholic books. A retreat would be great as well. The only challenge I had prior to watching your video was to make sure I pray the rosary daily.

Praying the rosary every day is a wonderful challenge! You can never go wrong with that :). We are partial to books here, lol- keep us updated on what you are reading this year!
On Jan 1 I made a promise to consecrate myself and my 2 girls to Mary. We went to the Shrine of Our Lady of Charity here in Miami on January 1st. I would like to do one of the 33 day consecrations to Mary ❤️

What a great set of challenges. Thanks for the inspiration. Since the new year, I have been listening to the divine mercy chaplet in song everyday and I hope to continue.

Hi, Wendy- of course! We really like this one here: "Eternal Father, I offer you the Precious Blood of Jesus through the Immaculate Heart of Mary for the prevention of a mortal sin which may otherwise be committed this day "(or evening, morning .... we tend to say it throughout the day here). We also say Fulton Sheen's Spiritual Adoption Prayer regularly here: "Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, I love you very much. I beg you to spare the life of the unborn baby I have spiritually adopted whose life is in danger of abortion."
The St. Michael prayer, the Hail Holy Queen, and St. Gerturde's Prayer for the Holy Souls are also all favorites here (here is a link for the St. Gertrude prayer: www.thecatholiccrusade.com/prayer-of-st-gertrude.html). Hopefully that will get you started :). God bless!
