braiding is like a sport - you have to practise it before you're good at it. if you wan't to do pretty braids to your self, all you can do is to start practising.

+Andy Glenny I agree....I am not coordinated enough either. Check JC PENNEY salons for junior stylists.....that know how to French braid. The reason I said "junior" is that the cost is usually less. Also, call private small shops.....I pay under $15 to have my hair French braided ( that's without tip )

This hairstyle can be kept for a couple of days....provided you sleep with a half-slip over your pillowcase OR purchase a satin pillowcase. I can keep my French braid hairstyle for 8-9 days when doing this !
