I bought the Hanwag Alverstone II GTX from the GOHUNT gear shop last spring before turkey 🦃 season after DMing Brady on Instagram and watching the Hanwag video that Trail did.
When I first saw them I thought no way these are 14 wides with how skinny they were. The only real issue is what Lorenzo mentioned they do pinch my pinky at times when side hilling or going down a steep slope of a hill ⛰️ I probably don’t have them 100% properly fit. Otherwise I would recommend them. A flex 3 is a great compromise. I have thought about a flex 2 for certain situations.

Nice video dudes. @Brady Miller you mentioned wearing the Mountain Extreme but whatever happened to the Trapper Top boots you had in another recent video? They're both really tough boots to wear out, but seemingly very similar function, so did one not end up working out or something?

I called in last week to discuss Han Wag and I might as well have called Lowe’s. Very short and I felt like I was wasting his time. Black Ovis got my business...

So what boot you wearing Lorenzo? Sounds like we may be foot brothers. Thanks if you respond

“What kind of boots are you running?!” It’s a following thing.
You can’t simply say what kind of boots are you wearing?!

If you want a good drinking game, watch or listen to any of their gear videos or podcasts and take a shot every time they use the term “running” and I don’t mean when they’re talking about the form of exercise 🤣

I can’t stand Brady!!! Please coach him or replace. I’ve seen memes about hunting douches. I don’t want to listen to them. If he talks too much I stop listening to the podcasts or videos.
More of people like Trail. Love Trail! He is so down to earth and knows his stuff. Much more relatable.

Hey Greg. Thanks for the good laugh today. It honestly doesn't bother me that you can't stand me. I put myself out there on a daily basis so I'm sure to have some haters.

@@brady_j_miller I wish there was a better way to respond/interact with your podcast. I'm sure you are a good guy and know your stuff. But do you ever listen to yourself? I heard you make some unsubstantiated claims about your diet, degrade other diets, and then say people will believe anything...you don't say (face palm). Don't let your insecurities control you. You have a LOT of experience and information to share. It's okay if that is different from other's experience and preferences. There IS NO ONE WAY with anything and next your you will find something or idea new and shinier. It doesn't mean you were wrong last year. Relax, don't try so hard to know it all, and realize you have some pretty strong biases. It will reduce your douche factor considerably.

@@ExperiencedNovice2024 Hey Greg. I appreciate the conversation. First off, are you sure it was me talking about diets or Lorenzo on that podcast? I'm not one who follows any diet, which is why I'm at a loss for what I might have said that is degrading other diets. And I just listened to the podcast in bits again, I didn't find anything I personally said as that episode I didn't even talk much. The only thing I personally do is follow a plan where I don't eat sugar and I consume lots of wild game meat. I don't do carnivore or anything crazy. Just put in my body what I feel I need and do my workouts and move on in hope to be in the best mountain shape I can be in. I don't have a leg to stand on when it comes to a diet, since I don't follow one, and I don't understand things about other diets people may use or follow. So I'm just trying to see here if you're referring to someone else on the podcast who was talking. Hope you had a great weekend!

@@brady_j_miller Maybe I did get the person speaking wrong? Who said meat doesn’t cause inflammation? Who said they are on the carnivore diet? Who said people will believe anything? I’d need to relisten to identify some of the other things.
On an agreement, sugar and flour are HIGHLY addictive and that has been documented. Just getting off flour could help reduce inflammation. I was on a diet that removed refined sugar and flour for several months. After the first two months of my body adapting to the new vegetable, whole oats, and protein (meats) diet, I felt GREAT! I couldn’t keep it up because the food prep for my wife and I was taking most of the day.
