Great video. Super informative. The briksdal mountain is definitely a front runner for me

I fell in love with the Briksdal a few years ago! Going to have to definitely try that Briksdal Mtn! Great vid Kendall.

The MTN is awesome. I had the regular Briksdal’s and I like the MTN better.

Pretty sure the colorado is a 4 flex. So says the crispi website and mine are quite stiff but still comfortable

Kendall - will Crispi be reinforcing the toe box of the Briksdal with nubuc or synthetic like the MTN and Laponia did? The stretch nylo that is exposed is a weakness of the boot. Everything else is amazing about the boot. Thanks for the video.

@tsnellyville That's a great suggestion. It was reinforced a few years ago from the original model on the toe box/bottom of the tongue.
IMO it's not as robust of a material like the Lapponia which (good catch) uses suede. I just cleaned out my Briksdal tongue area (removed the laces, which is the only way to really do this effectively) with an old toothbrush and it was shocking how much debris gets locked in there. Indeed, a weak point in an otherwise bombproof boot.
I'll pass along this suggestion to Mark at Crispi and to share with the factory.

Good quick review. Nevadas are my go to.

Having a hard time finding sizing guides. How do you know if you should order the wide vs standard version in these boots?

The Guide looks interesting. I have Kenetrek Mountain Extreme, now. Any problems with soles separating in hot rocky climates?

I'm currently in the market for some new boots. Looking for that all around, do anything boot for the Midwest. Upland, turkey, whitetail and hiking a lot with filming projects. Anyone got any opinions on the best option?

I have the Briksdal’s, the full leather version, and it’s amazing. I run it for everything. Originally purchased for a Colorado back country elk hunt, but have used for two seasons whitetail hunting (awesome for saddle hunting), and two seasons turkey hunting. Literally stalked a turkey in these boots last week.
