    AWESOME Review, I've been looking for this quality of filming and review. Just one thing. What do you mean when you say "these gloves have a breaking point"?

    • @alexsboxingchannel4176
      @alexsboxingchannel4176  3 года назад

      Thankyou that means a lot I put a lot into the production of these reviews that's why I haven't uploaded in a while if I can't film that quality I don't want to upload. But I think I said breaking in period. Meaning the leather on these gloves is really tough and stiff and a little tight on the inside when you first get them and they might cause some knuckle soreness from breaking them in which basically means softening and stretching the leather out over time but once they get to that point you will extremely durable gloves that will last for years

    Would these gloves work well for muay thai or kickboxing? I'm looking to buy a single pair of gloves to do it all from sparring, heavy bag and pad work to clinching. Since I can only buy one pair, would they be a good all rounder for all types of use?

    • @alexsboxingchannel4176
      @alexsboxingchannel4176  3 года назад

      They will work for that. I would not recommend them since they are pretty stiff and hard to open and close your hand. I do muay thai training as well and it is difficult to clinch in these. I would recommend 16oz Venum giant 3.0 for an all around glove to also do muay thai and kickboxing

    Need your help, recently bought my boyfriend these gloves, he’s an amateur boxer, weighing about 168lbs, 5’10, he’s a smaller build than most super middle-weight due to his height, I want the correct glove for bag work (etc) as he’s not begun sparring. Would the 14oz be better?

    • @alexsboxingchannel4176
      @alexsboxingchannel4176  9 месяцев назад

      At 168 lbs 14oz cleto Reyes hook and loop would be fine since the weight discrepancy. Although 16oz would be better to protect the hands more and building up strength in endurance in the arms and shoulders. So if you got the 16oz great that works but if you got the 14oz it would still be fine by be wouldn't get as much out of the work compared to 16oz

    Do you think it’s worth it to get a 14 oz glove instead of 16 since it’s overweight?
    I’m about 145lbs , so a smaller weight. Any advice would be welcomed

    • @alexsboxingchannel4176
      @alexsboxingchannel4176  2 года назад

      At 145lbs 16 oz would be better for you especially if you want to sparr. There are some gyms that are really picky about that. But if you get the velcro it could be up to 19 ounces so the a harder workout if that's what you want. Personally I really like 12 oz lace ups and I'm 160lbs when I'm training. Going strictly off of the weight and if it's velcro and you're not going to sparr with them, then 14oz would be good they'll probably be weighing closer to 16oz anyway
