I recently left a comment thanking you guys for helping me in catching my first dropshot fish. Well, I am back to thank you again after I also caught my first Senko fish, and have continued to smash loads more on the dropshot! As someone who has never bass fished until this season, your videos have helped me a ton. Cheers!
I'm just starting to work the Shakey heads in my arsenal, and when to use them it's been a total blast to fish this way. I'm not killing it yet but I'm learning some things from you guys. Hopefully, I'll have the opportunity to work on this skill set soon. I will watch what you and Matt have available on this subject and go from there. I hope people are getting some cast in and enjoying the spring. Thank you . For the opportunity to learn from the best.
It's nice that y'all are down south from me. Fish are just starting to spawn up here so all your videos on how to go after spawning fish were nice to watch before spawn. Now post spawn videos to get me ready for post spawn.
Mornin Tim. There's the man back with us! I see that SLX in your hand. Man thats what I like about you guys, you genuinely want to fi d good gear at all prices. I don't have near the funds and access to gear as you and yet I don't put down the Megabass Destroyers and Aldebarens etc. You guys have the best of the best and still fish with SLX to be able to give a genuine opinion on it, that's where you get my respect big time! Have a great day, dude! Back to the Carolinas (Lake Norman) after mom's passing, nice to see the family but I already miss Bull Shoals! 😂
I always love watching these videos, and they are so informative! Lately I’ve been having issues with getting skunked, because my lake is very shallow and the water is incredibly dirty, is there any advice you all would have?
@@Texaslivinoutdoors big fish- big baits....try a big rat wakebait in early morning or late evenings....once u catch 1 like that, it's over...u will be a big bait addict like the rest of us
I know the Berkley choppos are cheaper made but I’ve had a lot more luck this year on them than the whopper ploppers they make a little bit deeper sound and right now is clearly outperforming the whopper plopper for me
Great video. New bass fisher here with a rookie question. When should you throw a regular frog vs a popper type frog? I'm just trying to have a better understanding on when I should use each of them.
I tend to see that the “popper style frog” works in colder water, bc you can make it work slow. But both will work almost any time of the year. Also I like throwing a popping frog in clearer lakes. But I like the regular style frog better. All opinionated
@@50JoshLovesFishing could also try the bass pro version double plopper...I have some, just haven't tried them...little more budget friendly if i recall...likely will work, too
I lost a giant fish yesterday he was on the edge of some reeds in the dead part of the reeds. I lost him twice once on a white frog once in a blue jig with a craw. He's a beast any ideas on what to try to catch him again or do you think he won't bite again because I hooked him twice but he is hard to pull out of that stuff
Tried all these yesterday in clear water, and by clear, I mean I can see beds in 11 feet of water. Didn’t start catching fish until I started throwing a black skirted spinner bait on 30lb braid. Some days are just weird
So stoked I was using a technique that you mentioned. I'm not a huge jerkbait angler. So I use suspending or slow float cranks when some use jerkbaits. It's almost guaranteed to catch something, even if it's bluegill or crappie 😂😂😂
Do you ever throw the Big-M 7.5 or 4 for those large shad eaters, or is that one you stay away from? I just grabbed 8 or 9 Big-M's to try out but don't have much time with em yet. It seems like a mix between a deep crank and a glidebait sized body. I thought it might be different enough to draw bites from fish that had never seen anything like it.
Too bad Clearlake is sucking right now. Can’t wait for the frog bite. Throwing a spinnerbait up against the retaining walls is one my favorite things to do
Love spooning, big spooning is ok if it’s only spooning you’re going to get, but I like the nice tight small ones as far as spooning goes. You can get super deep spooning the little ones
Not sure why, but every River2sea Bully WA I've bought takes on water & sinks before I get it back to the yak....only frog I have, out of hundreds that sinks that bad
.Subscribe from distant countries. There are largemouth bass in South Korea, and I plan to purchase a Shimano World Pop as a lure to use in clear water.
Just my .02....if I only had 2 baits for Florida....10" plastic worm in a natural type color & a double willow spinnerbait in golden shiner....a 3rd bait...Hollow body Frog in a bluegill/perch color
Because you’re really really smart and special and you’re just on it! You’ve got something figured out no one on the planet has EVER thought about before! You’re special. If I ever see you I’ll pat you on the back
Your guy's upload schedule is perfect. Comes out right when I'm sitting down on my porch to have my morning coffee. Great video guys.
Life is good 😊
I enjoy that Tim and Matt have different fishing styles. It's like 2 channels in 1.
We agree most of the time 😉
When you or Matt say "keeping it simple" I get ready for my head to explode. Keep it going.
Lol!

Dt6 still works even if the water is clear you just have to match the color of what the bass feeding on
Awesome
Would you fish the pop max in the Matt finish if the lake is going through an algae bloom
My .02, I'd use a darker colored topwater
Have y’all ever thrown the manns crank that runs 30ft
I don’t think I’ve ever seen you talk about the bubble walker as much as y’all like R2S, do you not like that popper?
You don’t get it do you????
@@stupiditypissesmeoff330 I don’t get your vague question, no.

Can I ask why when throwing frogs, the color patterns are shad and bluegill? Would there be a frog pattern that would work?
Imitation of spawning or feeding shad on the surface
Would the St Croix Victory SB Ranger y’all mentioned for mag draft video throw a 6” mag draft and also double as a deep crank rod for like 10xd?
I throw the 10xD on my swimbait rod..it works fine for me...I use mono on all my big baits

Chatterbaits and buzzbaits are also good post spawn baits
What about dropshot?
Tim : flashy swimmer vs spinnerbait... when to use which?
Not the post😞 But still a great bite!!!!!
