I have tears! I knew it. I have been saying a girl all along. Soooo very happy for you. I wasn't blessed with children. I had severe endometriosis, and benign tumors. I had surgery after surgery. Was on Lupron. Nothing helped. So, I could no longer handle the pain anymore. It was only once a month when I was in my teens, early 20's. I would get physically sick and even passed out a few times. By my mid 20's, I was in pain all the time. Gynecologist suggested a hysterectomy and I was game. I couldn't deal with it anymore. I have a long, long history of S abuse, and always wondered if my repressed anger, was attacking that part of my body. I don't believe that there have been studies about it. I was 29, when I had it done. The worst time of my life. I am now 53, and it still hurts. I haven't any family because of the SA, no children, divorced, lost my stepchildren. I am alone. I wonder if the proper human diet could have helped me? Regardless, so, so happy for you. Beckett will make a great big brother. My dream was to have a little girl. I was a Dancer, I sing and did a lot of modeling. It was my dream to have a little one to do those things with. It will be amazing!!
So weird how, no matter HOW MANY YEARS it's been since I've been pregnant (26yrs), I STILL tear up at all things new baby related. CONGRATS TO YOU BOTH!

Congratulations!!! Because I was 36 when I finally conceived my daughter, I had genetic testing done. I just got a phone call...but I was thrilled!!! We had picked out a girl's name the night I found out I was pregnant and never could agree on a boy's name, so that was good. I got several monogrammed things with her name on it. (My mom was SURE we would change our minds...but we didn't.)
