Hello, thanks for all these videos, you’ve helped me a lot… I just have a question about the Zodiac iAqualink IQPUMP01 App Controllable Variable Speed Pump User Interface… If I press the “off” bottom will the pump stay off -or will the schedule turn the pump in in the morning?
I cannot get the app connected to the controller. My iPhone connects to the controller network, but it fails to complete the connection. Any advice on how get it connected?
Great video. I’m having a hard time automating my tru clear salt system with the app. I don’t know how to link them. I have the same antennae as the one in your video.
Hi Again, I received my IQPUMP01 today but it won't connect to my wifi. I'm reading that it might be a 5GHZ vs 2.4GHZ issue. I have a Gigahub router and I can't set the speed on my router settings. Any idea how to fix this?
We've only had our pool a couple weeks so we don't know anything... We set up the app. We logged into the app and it worked fine. We set up a couple schedules and all was great. Now we went to do some maintenance and our "VSPump-FE6" pump won't connect to our phone so we can't do anything. We did what was recommended (reload app, reset Modem/router, etc.). Nothing helps. We tried my wife's android phone and my iPhone, neither will connect. HELP!!!
I have had nothing but issues with it since I got mine 2.5 years ago. My pool guy maintains the option of going in and changing settings for me if needed because of this. He has had trouble connecting to it as well. I had to have my pump changed at about 1 year under warranty. The controller continues to give me issues non stop. So I feel your pain. Years of it being difficult. Wish I could switch to something manual.
+Swimming Pool Tips, Reviews & How To -MrDgvb1 which automated system would you recommend. Already have a variable speed pentair pump. I need an automation system to control pump. heater. blowers. lights. through my phone. there's no many options out there. I've been researching but still not sure what's the best of the best right now or if there is something new coming out soon
You can either go with the Pentair Easy Touch and their Screen Logic 2 interface or a Jandy Aqualink and use their interface. The VS pumps are compatible with other automated systems - the installer just needs to be familiar with connecting different brands together. Jandy Valve actuators are the most reliable. Either of those two systems would be my top choices.
+Swimming Pool Tips, Reviews & How To -MrDgvb1 thanks a lot man. I'm upgrading all the pool equipment. the pump was the first thing I replaced. I need a new heater too for a 17,000 gallon pool. any suggestions on that? used to have a 350 mínimax from pentair but it's all rusted and crumbling. should I upgrade to a 450btu?

Hello thanks for the video, I recently upgraded to a Jandy VSPlusHP pump with the iAquaLink I have a question. My Polaris 280 sweeper is running really slow then before and sometimes it just sit at the bottom of the pool, but with old pump it use to move around the pool and up the wall a lot faster. Any ideas? Another question is I have 20,000 gal pool what RPM setting would be ideal for my pool? Thank again for your awesome videos.
You probably need to increase the pump RPM to 2600-2800 rpm with the polaris pump running. Would say 1800 RPM for 12 hours and 2600 RPM for 6 hours - in the Summer. thanks for the great feedback!
My pool was just installed and the pool company said the iq was junk. I really wanted it. Are they just saying that? Your opinion would be appreciated.
I hate this shitty app. It's not that easy to connect to my wifi. There is no manual way to control the schedule on this expensive pump if I can't connect to my wifi! Why the hell are pool pool pumps so fragile and damn complicated?
I had to upgrade my router to use the app properly at first on my wifi. Once you have it connected to the internet you can use the app from anywhere. I am using a NETGEAR Smart WiFi Router with Dual Band Gigabit for Amazon Echo/Alexa - AC1750 (R6400-100NAS)
if only the steps at 1:35 in the video worked this product would be good. But my wifi see the VSPump and simply will not connect. do not buy this product It is junk!
Don't call it innovative. They could have used Bluetooth but instead they require personal information so they can get into the data broker business. All this does is add extra steps and complicate what otherwise would be flipping switches and pressing buttons. As a professional in the industry, these units being used to control the pool from elsewhere in the world is such a rare occurrence. This unit nor that feature are not justified of the over 1,000 price tag

Jandy can get it connected for you. Give them a call. Jandy USA
So, can the new Jandy Speedset controller coexist with the IQPUMP01? Or is it either or?
Either or.
My pump doesn't show all these setting after I connect it through wifi
after my timer times out do I leave the control panel in the off position?

Help i have a different wi fi how do i connect to pump withou a cord
I don't think it can be wired like that. You would have ot try and access the menu via wifi.

Also do you know if the app for this is still supported and working good?
App works great!

It won’t let me connect, am I missing a step? Help please
You may have to call Jandy and they can ping it for you.
so you can only control the speed of the pump? What about lights, heater, blowers and actuators?
For that you wold need a full automated system. This is jut for the pump.

What is the recommendation for speeds, my jets are not working and my heather has a HPS in the scream

I like this product. It's very good
How much does this cost?
About $130
@@SPL thank you sir!
@@SPL Is this device still available? Seems like it has been pulled off the market - and the other options I am seeing are much more expensive.
Won’t connect over and over … just asks to retry… junk

It depends on your router and the router location for the set-up connection. Try moving your router closer.
