Folks don't realize that all the recordings of theses great bass lines were played by studio musicians. Jermaine played bass on the live shows. Jermaine's bass playing is definitely underrated.

He stopped belting and his range lowered but it's normal since he wasn't a kid anymore. I think Michael was very lucky because after voice mutation he got a unique voice tone, he started using different techniques like distortion...
