You know what? There's no doubt that Michael was an outstanding vocalist, but his brothers provide him with the best accompanying harmonies he has ever had. I don't think they get a whole bunch of credit for that.

+Rick Hill I agree. When I first heard he was going solo, I wasn't happy. It meant losing Jermaine's more masculine voice alone and in harmony, which I really liked as counterpoint to all the high child voice songs, and my favorites contained that. Having said that, though, this is probably my all-time favorite song of theirs in that era of high school years.

I agree also. Hearing Michael and Jermaine sing lead together is magical. They both have such uniquely beautiful voices. Love this song and Looking Through the Windows is another beautiful song by the Jackson 5 that I've just recently discovered.

Rich H - That's exactly what I try to explain to young people. I saw these guys in their heyday. They were the truth. Jermaine was a monster on bass, and the vocal harmony and the choreography was better than all of the stuff Mike did with his hired help later in his career. Thanks for noticing.

Thanks for posting this! I love hearing the harmonies of all their voices and I LOVE hearing Jermaine's vocals along with Michael''s on this song. Two of the most uniquely beautiful voices in this universe! My favorite Jackson songs are when Jermaine and Michael share the lead. Their voices together are magic.

Baddest young man ever. I always relive the moments growing up watching them. My favorite singer as a child, I'd sing all of his songs to the neighborhood kids and perform. LOL Those were the days!!

Jermaine is tearing up that base! I’m shocked that he never released a smooth jazz album. He could’ve done it and had Tito playing guitar on those albums. You can do smooth jazz at any age. A lot of artists would love to have collaborated with them.
