After seeing you wearing that denim shirt in so many videos I decided to get one like it myself. Looks really great with a cut away collar altough I usually go for button down collars on my casual shirts.
@@hespokestyle I bought mine from Eton. Probably the best quality shirts I've tried so far, they fit me great off the rack and they offer a student discount which is nice!
Another terrific video. I have a shirt just like yours so lots of great ideas here. Honestly couldn’t pick a favourite they are all so good and a great illustration of the value of a good fit and classic pieces in good fabrics. Great work 😎
Great video. I just ordered a denim shirt from Beckett and Robb. They make most of my shirts are generally just the best MTM shop on the west coast in my opinion. I was sort of wondering what I was going to pair it with and then coincidently this. I can do a take on all of these. Thanks for the inspiration.
All looks like all Fantastic. My favorites are. The Navy Blue Double Breasted Suit with Navy Blue Tie, Tan coloured Bomber Jacket with Scarf, Brown Checked Jacket with Navy Blue Tie. and Grey/Tan Coloured Checked Jacket with Black Belt Silver Buckle.
I just got a new denim shirt (Luigi Borrelli) and was pondering on how to style it. I knew you'd have some great looks for it and for reals Brian, I loved EVERY look you did! Great lookbook, my man!
I think a really good denim shirt outfit is just layering it over with a olive overshirt and a pair of beige chinos. For the shoes i would throw some clarcks desert boots or wallabies. Looks good, casual and it’s perfect for the season transitions. Btw nice video!
First and second outift were hands down my favorites because they look good on their own and you could easily add a tie or a scarf to tie it all together. Otherwise well done by the team on the outfits and the video as an entirety!
Hey Brian. Good outfits showcased. But I'd like to humbly suggest something. Most of these outfits are in the same/similar realm. Sportcoat, pants, shoes. While this particular shirt may not be the kind for casual looks, I think there will be a lot more variety in the outfits if you could wear a denim shirt untucked with jeans, chinos, shorts, sometimes including a cardigan/sweater as well. Cheers!
He has a more refined elegant look and casual is not what he wears on the daily. The outfits reflect how he would wear a denim shirt. I certainly do not dress like Brian on the daily (my outfits are much more casual), so it is good to know how a denim shirt can be styled with a sport coat and chinos.
@@misha9952 yes you have a point. What I'm saying is we get the idea he's trying to put out. No harm introducing some variety. There are days he dresses down too.
I hear you, but that's not my style. I'm not going to dress some way that is not natural to me. So, yes, these are very much a variation on a theme, the second look notwithstanding.
Sick, man! This was just the video I was waiting for. Definitely going to invest in a denim shirt next fall. Or is it also wearable during the summer? I'd think not, due to the thicker fabric. I loved all the outfits, because the blues, greys and browns just work incredibly well together.
Thanks so much! There are different thicknesses for denim shirts. I have one by Drake's that is quite thin--a lighter blue. Chambray can also have a lighter feel.
Another great video!! I like at least one thing from each outfit. Hard for me to pick it's a three way tie between 3, 4 and 7. Brian what's your opinion on Jack Erwin shoes they have a pair of drivers that I like but I'm not familiar with them or the quality of the products.
Thank you for the video! I love denim shirts and you always look great in them. But I'm at a loss how to style them and Canadian Tuxedo isn't my cup of tea. Great content as usual!
hi Brian that's powerful, thanks so much for making this video i asked for this one only a week ago, so a big thanks buddy.. really i loved them all, however my favourite one was the Navy blazer with the Gray trousers (i think), however the DB navy suit, plus the (drake's) grenadine tie is super smart. one that i may not have thought of where the first with the light trousers and light jeans 💕🤳
There was a time when I was definitely a fan of denim in those situations. In fact, on the site, I used to call black denim the "in-between" dress pant. These days, however, I'm not so fond of denim as an option for business casual. I think it can definitely work for some people, I would just hesitate to wear a tie with jeans nowadays.
One question. All of those outfits are shirt+jacket, perhaps a tie. What about sweaters? Do denim shirts work with them, or is it too rough of a material to pair with knitwear without damaging the sweater?
Please can somebody help me out ! I want to buy a versace belt for someone who is beltsize 36! but on the website there is only left size 85 and 100. what should i do ? will a size 100 be to big ? i am afraid that 85 will be to short. pls let me know asap
Oddly, the denim shirt didn't look very flattering on it's own. However, when paired with your outerwear combinations, you pull off some great looks. As an aside, your pant break is on point. Generally, I am not a fan of cuffs, but the dimensions are extremely crisp.
sorry, it simply does not fit and is way to casual compared to the other clothes. There is a reason that no one wears denim shirts to suits and sport jackets..... The video format and idea behind it is great though
Hello Brian, I'm watching HeSpokeStyle. What do you think about those Ring Jacket white pants? (they seem on the expensive end of the spectrum) IMO All of these outfit would look even better with a white dress shirt (Nowadays I just wear white dress shirts all the time, I just can't find something to top them)
Ah, once again I have disappointed Mr. suckgames somewhat. Maybe I'll get it right one of these days. A white shirt, IMO, would be a little too dressy. The point of a denim shirt is to dress it down, give a little texture, and something unexpected. Re Ring pants. They're fantastic Though the fabric is a magnet for pet hair!
@@hespokestyle Helle Brian, I never meant to be critical of your outfit or anything. I just try to give constructive feedback. I also aspire to look like you.

The second outfit! I’m not a big fan of denim shirts but damn that looks good!
Great outfit ideas, Brian!!! The 2nd outfit is my favorite. It had a casual vibe but looked well put together as well. The Brown Suede Jacket 🔥🔥🔥🔥
