Hi Field days, I'm from Sri Lanka. I've gotta tell you a trick to get coconuts without using a stick. You can't just climb a coconut tree as you would do with another type of tree. You need something (a cloth, a rope, etc) to hold your both feet around the coconut tree, so you don't slide down. It's actually very easy to climb like that and I think you will master the technic! It's how locals get coconuts here, even a tall tree is fair game. Just look it up, I think it is gonna help you a lot!

Dunno if you’ve tried placing green leaves on top of the campfire and it’s effective in driving away mossies..make two fires & dedicate one for the green leaves to create smoke and it’ll drive away mossies 😊
Brother, the best way to eat coconut is cooking them in a fire. After drinking the juice, just put the whole coconut in a fire and let it burn to crisp. Not the soft coconuts. But the ones you and Mac10 ate. Just let it sit in a fire until shell falls off. Trust me, the smell and taste is fantastic. That’s how me and my mates back in the island used to eat whenever we go fishing or hunting. Goes well with seafood too 💯💯🤙🏽

Brother, the best way to eat coconut is cooking them in a fire. After drinking the juice, just put the whole coconut in a fire and let it burn to crisp. Not the soft coconuts. But the ones you and Mac10 ate. Just let it sit in a fire until shell falls off. Trust me, the smell and taste is fantastic. That’s how me and my mates back in the island used to eat whenever we go fishing or hunting. Goes well with seafood too 💯💯🤙🏽
