2016 MRE Rib Shaped BBQ Pork Patty Review The Best Meal Ready to Eat No Longer Made Taste Test
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 30 май 2021
- The BBQ Rib Patty MRE was arguably the greatest menu taken out of service in recent years, and was replaced by Chicken Burrito Bowl. This thing typically sells for around $30 these days, and sometimes more than that. With a main course that so closely resembles a McRib, it really gave soldiers a taste of home. In remembrance of the fallen on this day, I felt this menu was perfect to review. Those fallen soldiers are gone, but not forgotten.
Still in production is my 1957 Ration, Survival, Individual - along with a 2021 Danish 24hr ration, a 1970's Coast Guard Approved Survival Ration, 1945 K Ration Dinner, and a case of 1969 MCIs. June is going to be a great month if all goes as planned. The 1957 RSI ended up becoming a double survival ration review, and some restoration work as well. So stayed tuned for those, and more as I'm in a flurry of new filming projects since the introduction of this new camera. Alright cool, see ya.

Ok, this comment is hilarious, thanks for the laugh.😂
My dad was a baseball fan. When he passed away in 1986, my mom joked that "he ate so many hot dogs at Red Sox games that we didn't even need to embalm him."

Back when I was in the Army, this was one of my go-to favorite MREs. Any time I got it, I would trade something for the red pepper packet from another Joe, and add that to the BBQ sauce along w/ the pork rib, then make a sammich from it. Alongside the Buffalo Chicken, and the Maple Sausage MREs. Getting one of those, and letters from my family on the same day was like heaven for me.
So in a way, you made the MRE version of a McRib
Thank you for your service!
I remember when case 2 was opened, the NCO's would be the first to dig through it, trying to get Menu 24, Buffalo Chicken. Because it had Reese's Pieces in it.

Steve really just gave the coffee a backstory. And honestly, it's kinda nice. Sorta gives the coffee a mood.
It gives you an idea especially to those who never had an MRE
Well think about it, soilders in a war eating this ration would get that nice reminder of life outside war, which is usually the only positive thought that comes out of war.
nice.
The diner I used to frequent had great coffee. It was freshly made even if you went there late. They used filtered water that tasted good. The worst coffee I had was at a job where people would pour old coffee back into the machine and re-brew it.
I actually got to try some 'Genial' coffee before last Christmas, and it wasn't really very good at all. I've had far, far better coffee than that from vending machines, which isn't saying much.🤔😡🤬🤬🤢🤮

Steve I was in the Marines and I have to tell you in my entire 8 years of active and reserve service, this MRE was my absolute favorite and was woefully underrated. Every Marine always gravitated towards the chili mac mre meanwhile other good MREs like this one were around.
I was in for 4 years, I agree with you. Always loved the Pork Rib. I also liked the original beef patty with bbq sauce. I don't know when you were in but I was 08-2012...So we also had meatballs in marinara with tortillas and that was awesome...But my all time favorite was the Buffalo chicken.
Maple sausage patty was good too but pretty much came with nothing
Im a little late to this comment thread but for those of you who were in, can you explain kind of how these were distributed and what it was like carrying them around? Been watching you since my senior year in high school. Now I’m in my senior year of undergrad college. Time flies.
I'm mostly here for the sweet tunes, and the sweet drinks. I find these reviews to be...stirring. I'm not at all "mixed" up about it. It's just..nice. Cheers!
The way he stirs clock and counter clockwise.

I'm a simple man, if Steve uploads a video I watch it.

Man I've come across your channel quite a few times. I'll never understand how you get off on MRE's.. but this one brought back some 2009/10 memories. Thanks for that.
Also.. get your hands on the infamous breakfast omelet MRE, if you haven't already. (Everyone hated those. They're surprisingly not-so-awful with a dab of Tabasco, however).
Ngl for the past week I have been binged watching your videos lol love them
