This is brilliant! Bless you, Average Joe! When the armrest of my wooden desk chair became detached from the seat, I couldn't call my workplace engineers to fix it because my workplace is now at home. Out comes the wood glue and super glue and voila: I can get back to work. Signed: The Most Unhandy Person You've Ever Met.
I’m really glad it was of help Deborah! It’s a simple technique but works really well 😊
Awesome, Why didnt I think about that??? Finaly no-clickbait woodworking tip! THANKS

Between the accent and the shirt, I can say fro sure that you are the best thing I have seen on youtube in almost forever. Keep on being you!

I have some small wood drawers at work that I am going to try this trick/tip on!
Update: this tip worked like a dream!! Myself and the other waxers no longer have to worry about dropping a whole drawer of wax sticks on the floor during a service 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Brilliant! Glad this has been of help, Rose! :)
I've used this tip many times. It's great to have videos like this to share the knowledge because many people are unaware. Keep up the good work Joe!
I got to admit I made this theory in my head and I'm glad that I found this to prove it thank you so much!
Nowhere in my city could I find clamps specifically for fixing a new bridge on my acoustic guitar. This video is my saviour. Thanks a million!!!
Thanks mate! Really glad this tip was of use. I use it quite often for awkward glue ups 😊
Amazing advise, thanks just what I needed to hold trimmings on wood
Thanks Edwin! Glad you found it helpful :)
I have seen a similar method when connecting things using an epoxy, or epoxy putty. In aquariums this is a useful method to attach rocks or corals so that they can be placed back in the water after a few seconds with the super glue holding it together while the epoxy cures.
Thanks dude. I was making a frame for a painting and the clamps weren't big enough. This tip saved me. !!
Thanks mate! Glad you found it useful 😊
This is exactly what I was looking for. What an original idea. Also, really liked Namit Bhulani's suggestion to use gel based superglue.

This helped so much!! Thanks for making this video!
Absolutely Brilliant! Way to innovate!
You can use gel based super glue that does not run. That way the super glue will stay in place when you handle the pieces.
The gel based would be much better for this application thats for sure :)
Brilliant tip Joe, thanks

+bratton837 Thank you! Glad you found it helpful 😊
Hi Joe would this work on the outside of wooden garage doors please?
Hi Jack, It could is you use an outdoor adhesive rather than regular wood glue. The super glue should still give you that initial hold while the other adhesive sets
😀👍Great tip Joe!
I am going to be trying this to make 3d cubes for deco :P Wish me luck!
+Mickayla Gibson Im sure those will turn out great! Good luck! 😁
