It is awesome.. but I think the Halo system on the Piper M600/SLS automatically activates on certain conditions. Like if the plane loses a ton of altitude outside of the norms or something like that.
What happens if the passengers realise that the pilot is incapacitated too late and HomeSafe is instaled?

In fact the HomeSafe system can be activated automatically if the emergency descent mode (following non-response from the pilot) is activated or if the 'return-to-level' mode has been engaged. This avoid the risk the system could take control inadvertently.
