Yes sir. They need to be dried very well and then stored in an air tight container. They seem to pull moisture from the air more so than wood pellets. I look forward to modifications on the heater soon too (I hope). Thanks again for your advice.
@@wisdomandthewoods7422 could you do a burn time test for one gallon of Rabbit pellets ?that would give us a real good idea of weather or not Rabbit pellets are actually Viable for long term use.... i mean why buy wood pellets at all Right ? just raise Rabbits ! you'ed have to switch from wood pellets to rabbit feed but rabbit feed goes a hell of alot further than a 40 lb bag of wood pellets ! you could feed 8 rabbits year round for the amount of wood pellets I just bought !!!!! it's probably more expensive however !
The air is being pushed/pulled to and out of the chimney, so air is being pulled inwards through the pellet hopper keeping the flames from trying to move up the hopper/supply feed. Thank you for the comment.
SHTF Pellet Stove/Pellet Heater Fuel…
You go Chuck. I see that smoke 👍🏻

LOL Makes perfect sense ! Natures wood pellets ! as long as their dry they should burn real good !

What keeps the pellets from catching fire
