Thanks, and thats it, you dont need a bunch of fancy special tools, yes I have some and on a regular basis I will use the impact, but a ratchet and socket will work just fine, I know people that have real nice cars, but they got money and they had other people do all the work for them, I want some nice cars, so as I dont have the money I just do all the work myself, if I'm not sure how to do something I watch a couple videos of others doing whatever, and then I try it, it almost always goes fine, I may stumble along the way, and you all have seen that {exhaust studs, need I say more LOL} but we get threw it, and the other thing is, as those folks take a lot of pride in those cars they had built for them, they cant take as much pride as you and I do in ours, as we built them ourselves. I'm glad your enjoying it, I try to get better with my videos and I know sometimes they could be a lot better, but I enjoy it, Strappy has a lot more I want to do to her, and then I have 2 more waiting, but I dont like jumping around to much, I want to mostly finis one and then move on, I say mostly cause, their never really don LOL
I wanted lager ones on the back, but I didn't want to put anything smaller then what I got on the front, so I had to go with the same size all round, but they are the largest Cobra GT's they make in a 15 inch, I didn't like any of the truck tires because they where all outline letters, and I wanted solid letters, glad you liked the video, Thanks
Thanks, and for the record, it was just for the video and to see if I could do it, LOL, it's WAY more work than I ever plan on doing again, if I had a tire machine, sure but till then I'll keep going to the guys here in town, the heck of it is, I got to go to them anyway to get the tires balanced, thanks for the reply, and your right, like I said before, this is just stuff I do, I never suggest that it's the right way to do things LOL
Please please please do NOT use anti-seize on lug nuts. It gathers brake dust, road grime, and just makes a huge mess. The ONLY times I've had lug nuts be hard to get off were if they were cross-threaded, rusted due to being open ended, or had anti-seize on them that gathered a bunch of trash. My 93 flareside (same color as yours and everything) is an example of this. When I got it, lug nuts were a pain to get off and slung grease everywhere when my Ingersoll Rand impact finally got them loose. The previous owner had the tires changed somewhere that uses anti-seize, and that shit was globbed on. Cleaned everything real good with brake clean, got all that gummed up anti-seize off the threads and out of the lug nuts, and then put it all together and it all comes apart super easy whenever I want it to. Even after sitting out in the parking lot for over 2 years at work, not 1 issue getting it back apart.
Solid build
Thanks
Man, I like how you show this as being do able in the driveway with common hand tools.

This is the most un safe thing I’ve ever seen. I think I’ll just keep going to the tire shop. Never the less, nice wheels and truck.

OK I can see that, but what happens with anti seize is people put way too much on, I go very light and it works for me anyway, but I do see your point
