The after looks really beautiful. The third shelf would really help with some of the things on the floor and make the place alot more arranged. Yayyyy, I'm looking forward to your closet video
@@CompassionTuraki thank you ☺️ I’m working up the courage to declutter and organize my closet 😅 I might need to do it in smaller pockets of time throughout the month but I’m hoping to finish it by the new year! Have a great weekend 🤗
Hello beautiful this is Lorraine from Corning New York I love this video you have taught me how to clean and declutter which is a good thing you do such wonderful work the after effect always looks beautiful may the Lord God bless you and keep you well and safe may you have a happy and a safe life and a Happy Thanksgiving
@@LorraineSutton-nq4xe thanks for watching and for your sweet words 🤗 stick around for a massive decluttering challenge I’m going to share in December! Happy Thanksgiving to you too!
I live in a really old house. It has basically no closets. I used to always wish I had closets to put things in. Then I started watching decluttering and cleaning videos and realize that I am super glad I dont because rofl I would have them stuffed full of stuff too!! I would be "I will just put this here and then put it away later" till I coudlnt close the door. So ya probably a bit grateful now I dont have many closets hahaha. On the down side I have the garage... soooo maybe I do have closets since everything just gets stuffed out there instead 🤣 What? You mean you dont clean that fast??? hahahahaha Ya wouldnt that be nice. To answer your question in your description... No advice for the kiddos but can tell you how it worked in our house. Mine is 24 LOL Long time since he was under 10. He just always did chores from the time he could walk in some form. As he got taller the chores changed LOL Toys put away before bed ( so mom didn't step on things in the dark ). Pull up the covers on his bed. Laundry, taking care of pets, dishes, etc.. He would have to know how to do these things eventually so might as well make them normal every day things as he grew up. My parents never made us do anything. I paid a high learning curve price when I became an adult and didn't even know how to wash my laundry. By the time J was 18 he cooked, cleaned, shopped etc.. He never got "paid" or "prizes" to do chores or anything like that. No one gets paid to do chores aka do every day things that have to be done ( unless you have a job doing it of course lol ) so I never saw the point in that. Always thought it sent a mixed message but again thats just me. Chores just have to be done so we all gotta pitch in a help get them done. He just never knew any different. Sorry long ramble there. Labels rule! Dawn Power Wash - have you used it before? I see that every time I go to Sams and wonder what would I use that for but its in "cool bottles" so my "I love containers" brain thinks I need it lol WOW you are busy... All my excuses just went out the window for getting things done with how much you are doing and dealing with. Looks amazing! Great job. Looking forward to the next video! Have a lovely rest of your day.
@@MyLittleRealities yes the draw back of having more places to put things means I collect more things! Like the Dyson attachments 😳 I should get rid of them!! We make our older kids do a weekly chore. So all week they are in charge of the laundry, dishes, floors, or table and island. And we rotate between my husband and my two older kids. But sometimes these younger two get away without doing much 😅
@@MyLittleRealities I have not used the Dawn Power Wash yet. It came as a free item with my superstore grocery order for ordering over a certain amount of stuff. I heard it’s supposed to be good for ovens. Might try that out soon!
@@jeriheggie I am terrible that way. I am trying to get my house so things have an "easy to think about" place. Meaning hopefully I still stop stuffing things in places because its just easy to put them away. Its a work in progress LOL Some things I have succeeded on some are ... ya just a work in progress hahaha. LOL I say do what works for you with what works for your kids. J had things he had to do but it makes it sound like it was so perfect and angelic. Reality was he was a little kid so it was more just a part of his day than anything. We homeschooled so our time during the day was a bit different too. Anyways its fun to see how people do things differently.
@@sylvieurvoy777 hello 👋 I believe you asked why I have so many cleaning products 😅 Great Question! Some of them I bought and forgot I already had a bottle or package of it. A couple I never use and added them to the donation pile! I could probably cut out many more but that will be another project for a different day 😉 have a great weekend 🤗

@jeriheggie thankyou 🥰
We have to do closets and cupboards first. Usually they are full of stuff we don’t use ,and there is no room to put away what we DO actually USE.
