Yes it is! It’s among one of my fav city right now. They managed to keep their uniqueness and so many traditions too. My only regret is, I didn’t stay long enough to visit all the amazing places Chengdu has to offer. I hope you will visit soon and stay longer than I did, to visit the other cities around such as Xian. Thank you so much for your warm comment. It means a lot to me and encourage me to keep going, so thank you 🥹🙏💕
The place I have been is good to have a glimpse of what face changing show is. And is affordable. But if you want to watch a real show, then I heard good feedback from the Sichuan Opera 芙蓉国粹, and the address is 成都市锦江区华兴镇街54号锦江剧场 . Hope you'd have lots of fun!
I have the impression that you found Chengdu a little challenging, Virginia! 😅 But it seems like a vibrant and exciting city. I think maybe if you stayed a little longer, your system will adapt to the spicy foods.
Challenging for the food? Yea it was hard. I don’t really eat spicy food in normal time, so not sure i will adapt to it haha, but overall, i really enjoyed chengdu and can’t wait to go back because there were much more things to visit 🥺
Hi, may I know what photoraphy you are referring to? At 5:54, it’s Chengdu IFS, a flagship shopping mall :) in chinese, it’s 成都国际金融中心. Hope it helps ;)
Hi dear! I am glad you enjoyed the vlog 😊 The hotel I stayed at is : JinJiang Hotel 锦江宾馆 中国四川成都人民南路二段80号 No.80,2nd Section, Renmin South Ave., Chengdu, Sichuan, P.R. China Tel : (86-28)85506666 Post Code: 610012 Website: www.jjhotel.com Enjoy your trip ans have fun! 🤗
Sorry, i don’t understand your question 😅. You mean where is the mall before coming to the Research Centre? If that your question, then the mall is called TaiKoo Li 太古里,there is only one in the whole China, you can’t miss it ☺️ Look for the main entrance and you will see the big panda screen 🐼💕
I'm curious, so you now live in china or you're still on vacation over there ? if you're still on vacation that's a super long vacation but still fun !
I work for myself, so no real vacation but I am flexible. That trip to Chengdu was actually a business trip though, but we managed to visit for 3 days haha. I just don’t film the boring part of my life 🤭
Oh i see, thank you for sharing your knowledge with us 💕 i am glad that these animals were not killed for this sole purpose and that these hornes gets to live a second useful purpose and not just discarded ☺️
Yes, it is very easy, if you have some basic chinese. It’s very easy to book a taxi and even possible to go to another city (more expensive). Carpool is widely used as well. For a day, it depends what you do, and what you buy, and which city you are, but generally speaking it’s quite affordable. If you go to fancy restaurants in GZ, or invite several people, it can’t go up to 1k to 2k a day. Life in cheap, food is cheap, clothes is cheap, transportation is cheap. Only big luxurious shopping malls have crazy prices. If i am just walking around a city, get bbt or snacks on my way, take subway, maybe less than 200 rmb, but best 1k to be confortable and shop.
Hi Virginia, do you have a job in China or are you traveling for fun? Maybe I will go to Chengdu one day. Love your videos! We have Szechuan spicy food in our restaurant, Uncle Yip's. You are a very good video editor. :)
Hi dear, i am a freelance illustrator, and i vlog in my free time :) Oh, you have a restaurant in China? I don’t know Uncle Yip’s. Where is it located? You must go to Chengdu, i enjoyed it so much! The air quality was also very comfortable (not humid like in the south), and reminded me of Paris xD. Can’t wait to see you go there! 💕
Apply the same attention to all animals, first stop torturing and slaughtering asian cats and dogs. Protect moon bears from torture, prove that you are a truly civilized country, make laws to prevent this massacre, thank you.
Thank you for your comment. Unfortunately, I do not work for the CCP nor I am a Chinese citizen. I am just a tourist here, so not much I can (safely) do at my level. But I do agree with you and I always try to bring awareness to people around me whenever I can :)
Nice vid. Enjoyed watching it. Btw, any hotel recommendations for Chengdu?
Wonderful to have stumbled upon your video ❤❤❤ lovely!

推荐三星堆,真的很震撼!但是在四川广汉。
谢谢你的推荐 ☺️ 有机会去看看 🙏🏻
Those hornes are perfectly legal.
In China there are many variety of bisens. The horns are not wasted and are use to make those combs.
Oh i see, thank you for sharing your knowledge with us 💕 i am glad that these animals were not killed for this sole purpose and that these hornes gets to live a second useful purpose and not just discarded ☺️
